Recommended doing one of these for Brothers in Arms hells highway. One of the more historically accurate fps.

Really enjoying these reaction videos Woody. You should do some reactions to scenes from movies like The Longest Day.

Spot on Woody about the various names. Sounded very Canadian to me. The good old whistle started attack across a field.

Great critiqe, much needed in these times!
Btw, how is that supposed to ber Merville?! That was acually an intresting battle that could have been made well without all that extensive drama.

Thanks, Paul. Is the main character using a battlefield pick up WW1 Mauser Gewehr 98 with a 20 rd trench magazine? I'm not aware of KAR 98s being modified with external magazines and the rear sight is definitely a KAR.

Most videogames always end up being creative where in turn accuracy suffers. Take the Medal of Honor series, in its timeline take the American superhero character Jimmy Patterson, in Medal of Honor Airborne he pilots a C-47 dropping troops inland, his C-47 is hit and after the paratroops exit you see him crashing his plane into the sea, in time for him to be picked up and be taken into a landing craft for a beach landing in the first mission of Medal of Honor Frontline inspired by Saving Private Ryan.

I re-enhacted the assault in Merville in 2019, and I almost got blasted off by a petrol tank. I know the Merville battery like my pockets. I was not surprised by the amount of crap made by the CoD team, again

There was a Black Para in 1st Airborne. He jumped in at Arnhem and escaped back across the Rhine during Operation Pegasus. The lads were taken to a US mess to be fed, One of the Yanks refused to serve him because he was black, the rest of the lads who despite being cold and hungry walked out. British Airborne, if you are good enough, you're in, no matter what you look like. Every Man An Emperor.

Not sure if you noticed or not, I only did when I played through the mission myself but when the paras are fighting through the bunkers there are fallschirmjäger fighting as well in camouflage they never wore. And correct me if I’m wrong but they weren’t defending any of the coastlines.👍🏻

Sid Cornell was 7th bn. Although im always happy to see Merville battery highlighted, this was an awful attempt to portray what happened. Not impressed with historical accuracy but have to remember it’s a game made for entertainment. As my dad was at Merville im glad its featured, but I certainly wouldn’t show him this if he was alive.
