Jo , you never waffle, you make me feel like you are chatting to me, in fact, I have actually answered you out loud more than once!! I’m down in Devon but originally I’m from Lancashire, so you almost take me home!! As a retired art teacher, I can follow your instructions so easily, because you inspire confidence whilst explaining in fine detail, especially the reflections which have been a huge problem for me. I’ve tried ‘drawing’ them in but not very successfully! Your three methods are amazing!! A huge, grateful Thank You!! Donna.

You are a born teacher then, if you have no background in teaching. I love your videos, and I usually watch several at one sitting and having a “cup of tea and a cheeky biscuit” has caught on in France. Thank you for being caring and for all your tutorials. X Jo from France 18/2/23
Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorial Jo, I love how you explain things in so much detail that we can all understand where your coming from or what you mean etc. Love watching your video’s and I’ve learnt so much from you, take care, and keep smiling, don’t let the person who is giving you a dislike thumbs down a second of your time, they are doing you a favour by hitting the thumbs down as it signals to RUclips that the person has watched your video, so really every time they press on the thumbs down your video will become more popular in the statistics. xx

My first time watching your videos! I have watched about 10 so far & love them! I do just regular cards, but I like the different ones you make. I live in USA, like you said “It’s nice to see how we communicate with each other, the words we use are different” I think so too! I love your “inky binky”! Instead of saying “rag”. You’re very creative! I will be watching and “likening” a lot more! Thank you!😊

Hi Jo I am soooo glad I found you! You are sooo caring and loving! I have learned so much from you! I have just retired from a 40 year career in medical radiography and feel an affinity to you!, Thanks so much for your wisdom!
Hi sweet heart. Jo you have been such an inspiration to me and darlin’ I do have an education in design. You see, talent isn’t reliant on education but experience and a God given willingness to learn plus tenacity. Your work is incredible! I just can’t get enough. FYI I honestly learn something new with almost every video. Do not ever question your ability as an artist or a teacher. Your language skills are prime and your presentations are so informative and complete it’s astounding. And to top it off your voice is soothing! Keep going, we love you Jo! The first time I watched a video, not long ago, I laughed and laughed because your diction reminded me of Dame what’s her hoosle, now I can’t remember her name but I’m sure you do. I think she modelled her character after you. Oh my! Impeccable..
Brilliant tutorial. I'm going to give this a go today. You explain things so well, and I've had some great results after a little practice with other projects. Thank you Jo for bringing brightness to a dreary wet lockdown January.
My first time watching and thoroughly enjoyed your video. I’ve learnt something new too. I love your easy style and chat and have subscribed. Thank you 💙xx
That's lovely thanks Jo, I'll definitely have a go. All the wonderful RUclipsrs I watch get thumbs down, and some even get nasty comments, I don't know why anyone would do that when someone has made so much effort to share with complete strangers, but they do. I love your videos, I feel like you're a good friend and it doesn't feel quite so lonely. Love all the personal touches, and I learn so much. Keep doing what you're doing ❤️❤️❤️
Wow, thank you so much for sharing this, I’m stunned by your work, just beautiful. I must add that I love your teaching skills, you make everything so realistic and natural leaving in any little accident because, to be honest, I always make mistakes, sometimes they end up happy ones, but I feel it’s how we learn. I’ve been watching all your videos, and today is Mother’s Day, so happy Mother’s Day to you, and my daughter is just bringing my coffee now, so cheers and enjoy Jo. Hugs from your neighbour across the pond in Ireland. XX
Thank you so much Jo, and firstly there is nothing wrong with this tutorial. You’ve shown me so much that I didn’t know, and lots of tips and tricks too. Whoever that is, just ignore them, you have 212 great 👍 comments, and just one ☝️ moron, who probably leaves these thumbs down 👎 for everyone they watch. Why bother????? I really don’t know. I’ve just seen your channel, and I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up 👍 too. And I really really don’t do that lightly. Your excellent and very easy to listen to. I’m really really looking forward to seeing you again soon. Stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Technology is swell, isn’t it? Here we are in a pandemic with lockdowns and quarantines and separated by thousands of miles and continents and yet we can still carry on conversations and learn new techniques. I agree with the other commentor who said like it’s sitting down to have a cuppa coffee with a friend. I don’t drink coffee but I feel that I know you and that you are sitting right next to me in my messy craft room! Thank you for the techniques on the brayers and how to do reflections. I saw someone else give a demo on reflections using the Breyer and it was kind of scary! The alternatives that you suggested I am sure I will use. Such a beautiful card and so impressive. Thanks again for your time and effort and skill in teaching us these techniques and also for your happy disposition. I too am started late in life with my crafts. Stay well and stay safe, Christine Andersen from Salem Utah, USA!
I'm so glad I found you! Your instructions are very clear, your tips are incredibly helpful, and you're completely charming. Don't worry about naysayers. They are to be expected on a normal bell curve. You just do you. You're great.
Oh that's awesome! I've had a really slippery acetate smudging my reflection. Your piece is larger, and maybe A little more controllable. Plus mine is sitting on my white board. Paper will be better. The details are so pretty! It's a beautiful card. You make great use of that brayer!
Thank you Jo for this tutorial and all your others. I would never have thought about how you did the reflection. The acetate is the way to go for me. Now I need the courage to try. You make everything ok even if making mistakes, something I find I beat myself up about. You feel like a friend to me. You are so easy going and a great teacher. Thank you from st Leonards Victoria Australia.
Hi Jo! I've just recently Subscribed to your Channel. I have watched several of your videos and I love the way you explain everything. I'm learning so much from you. I am new to stamps. I acquired a bin of stamps from a family friend. but she made cards and moat are sentiments and holidays. I need animals and trees. I have many flowers and butterflies. This really makes me want to experiment more. I was mostly using in my journal and with watwr colors. I love this process it is a piece of art. I need a mushroom set too and the silioute of the rabbit is neat. tfs
Thank you so much Jo, I've always shied away from trying reflections because I thought I'd never be able to do it. You make it so clear and have given me the confidence and incentive to want to try. I love your videos, your voice is very relaxing and so easy to listen to. Many thanks for brightening a grey day here in Wiltshire.
Very fun teaching session!! I learned a lot!! Thank you!! I was making a different card while I watched. And, I used your advice to hold down silhouette stamps longer for the ink to absorb. I finally have my perfect image!!
Hi Jo, Just wanted to say how helpful this video is. I have jell presses, but I think the acetate will be the easiest for me , but I will try both . You have taught me so much. I just want to thank you so very much for all your videos. I so enjoy watching them all. I made some cards last night and this morning that I got the inspiration from you. Lovely tutorial! I don't usually use reflections but may have to give it a try now that I've seen the acetate and gel plate methods. I can't imagine why anyone would give you a thumbs down - you're sharing what you've learned and give us tips to use to be more successful. I so enjoy listening to you. I watch a LOT of British television through different streaming services and I've been trying to think of who's voice/accent yours reminds me of. Some night I'm sure I'll spot it while watching one of my shows. Thanks so much for this tutorial!

Very fun teaching session!! I learned a lot!! Thank you!! I was making a different card while I watched. And, I used your advice to hold down silhouette stamps longer for the ink to absorb. I finally have my perfect image!!
Shelly, I am so pleased that you crafted along and that you are happy with your results. Thanks so much for watching xx

I will need to get more stencils from Lavinia stamps. I have Flora which I love, but I want to do different ones. Again thank you, Gail Barrett, USA

Hi, I've only just found you and loved this so much , I've subscribed and given you a well deserved thumbs up. I love your easy, calm manner and gentle teaching. It does feel like you are here with me in the room which is great in these times of lockdown when we are all so cut off. I feel your card is a work of art, inspiring and encouraging. I will be sure to try this and have you with me as we work along together. :0) x
Thank you so much Jo, for showing the 3 ways to do a reflection, I’ve only tried the brayer in the past, but will give the Gelli press a try x

Thank you so much Jo This was so informative. I had no idea how to do a reflection .💕
