This is so lovely Jo!! I really LOVE the look of water color. It's so beautiful. This looks like something I could do and it look fairly decent. Thank you for helping us by sharing your work. :)
Amazing has usual jo stunning card just love watching your tutorials on your channel thank you for sharing and inspiration you have given Be safe. Sue 🥰😊👍🏼👍🏼
Love this so much! I found your video so relaxing and informative, thank you so much. Especially the tip about painting on the Posca - inspired idea! xxx
Gorgeous Jo, I have never felt confident enough to do watercolour ing but seeing you do it, I think it is something I could have a go at. Thanks for sharing 😘xx
I am a relatively new subscriber to your You Tube channel and I wanted you to know how much I enjoy watching & listening to your videos. Such a relaxing pleasure. I just bought my first set of Lavinia stamps to play with ... all mermaids & underwater. I bought some Elements stamp pads & some Versa Fine Clair. So I am just starting out!!!! ♥️♥️♥️💐💐💐💕💕💕
That is such a lovely little study of the fox. I think I will try that paper,. My watercolour pads are too textured for this sort of thing. Catkins is the most used name,. It’s good that you are teaching your grandchild something about trees and nature
@@JoRice I'll have to order some of that paper, mine always looks like a banana after as I'm not very good at watercolour. I got booted from a tim holtz alcohol ink video last weekend - they were demoing the bigger alcohol ink bottles so I asked about if a larger lift ink refill would be available because I've been doing lavinia's technique of lifting a whole alcohol ink background and will likely get through quite an amount. They won't be doing a bigger one, they said "interesting" about the technique. A crafter said something about using alcohol ink on porous card so I said this technique will put what youre lifting on porous card and I followed her tutorial and it worked a treat - as you do when you're talking amongst yourselves and that comment to the other crafter got me booted! I was rather surprised considering a) lavinia sells their alcohol inks and does tutorials using/promoting their alcohol inks and lift ink refill b) they don't sell fairy stamps and so aren't competitors c) it was appropriate to the demo being alcohol ink and lift ink, and would in theory promote or sell more of their stuff! Someone obviously got out of bed on the wrong side - when I moderate, I speak to the person first, I don't just boot them with no conversation for something relevant to and not detrimental to the video content!
Beautiful Jo as always. You make the water colouring look so easy but I think my lack confidence would prevent me from trying. I love both of them but particularly the one you’ve just done. I’ve had a dreadful day with my stamps. Took me for ages to get the u nicorn stamped correctly the decided to to colour in the missing bit where no ink was then ended up dropping the stamp on my work. I just sat there and cried then walked away. Sorry you probably don’t wan5 to know all of this but you inspire me so much. I’ll wait til Friday to give it another try but my grand daughter s 2nd birthday is this Saturday so it needs to be done. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Bless you, Wilma, you know we all have days like that. To be honest I feel that the more pressure that I put on myself the worse mess I make of things. Just try and relax, and maybe stamp the unicorn a few times. I find that often stamps work better after they have just been stamped. Try not to be upset, I hate the thought of you crying...you are with friends here... I am sending you a special hug, and I am so proud of your crafting...I know you can do this Hugs xxx❤️
So sorry, you got to the point you cried but to be honest, we all have had days like that. With world so mixed up now it seems those rough days come more often than it used to. Please know that your sisters and brothers in the Stamping world understand. Here is a electronic 🤗 hug. Keep watching videos especially those from Lavinia. Those ladies are very special, Tracy, Jo and Emma Jo are my favorites, Emma Jo is precious, she will make you giggle and some days roll in the floor laughing. Hope your weekend is much better!💌📨📮📬
Love your watercolour technique Jo. FYI....Catkins are flowers that are found on a variety of trees including alder, hazel, silver birch, white willow. Love & hugs, Sue. xx
This is gorgeous! I am amazed at how pink the paprika turned in the sky! I agree- I keep all my little bits/off cuts of paper. Can you show us the best way to cut it so that we get the most out of it? I feel blessed having found you. I am always excited when I see you have posted a new video. Thank you so much. I appreciate them & you so much
Hi Toni, an ATC is an Artist Trading Card- they are a piece of art measuring 3-5inches by 2-5inches, and they are swapped amongst artist, crafters as a gift and a keepsake. The artist usually signs the back and gives the piece of art a name. They are a lovely thing to make and swap but can also be used as toppers for cards.... Hope that helps...xxx
@@JoRice Oh! thank you Jo I have never been involved with such a gifting caring community before. My jog was head down and grind. (oh! that doesn't sound good does it) it was time challenged that is all. I'm not an Artist or a crafter and I have no one to swap with???
What a fabulous watercolour scene. ❤️ Sendings lots of hugs back Jo 🤗🤗🤗xxx

I must be honest, it is the best watercolour card that I have used, I am so impressed how much water it takes and still dries flat xx

Hello. I would like to know if Lavinia's watercolor paper is cotton or cellulose. Thank you in advance.
Maca as far as I know the watercolour card is created using natural wooden felts ....hope that helps xx
@@JoRice Thank you very much Jo ! This paper seems to work very well with wash technic ❤😘
Totally agree, I am very impressed with it xx
