Thank you so much, Brian. I was ready to give up. I was going in circles on FAA site for the 4 hours. Could you do a video on how to load MULTIPLE IMAGES and explain how to set the defaults prior to uploading. And can you upload multiple images to a specific gallery??? Any help will be so appreciated.
This is months late, I know! I will work on that. But you can change your defaults at anytime (however, they will only be applied to new uploads). I'm not sure about uploading multiple images to a specific gallery. It might be possible though. I will add this to my list of videos I need to make though!
Hi Katia! Thanks for checking out my video. I use a Nikon D3300 camera. It is good for prints up to 24x36-inches. Anything bigger than that then the quality goes down a bit! I'm interested in trying one of the new iPhones as they say it has a 48-megapixel camera. Could be a good option even for phone users.
Yea I do mean the iPhone 15! If you have one, I would just start with that. I honestly find that direct sunlight gives the best results. Use a tripod for your phone/camera and an easel or some other way to hold the painting steady. That’ll give the best results!
Thank you So much for this video...you explain it so well and your voice is perfect for making videos and it was really easy to follow. I am getting ready to try that site out with my work.. I have this saved for reference. 👍
Yes, you can. If you go back and click edit on any images, there is the option to add the watermark. I'm not sure that you could "bulk edit" to do this. I think you have to do the old ones individually. You can, however, on the control panel go to "Default Settings" and scroll almost to the bottom and select watermark. This will make it so any new upload will automatically have the watermark added. P.S. Sorry for the delayed response!
Im having an issue..i deleted a profile picture, and took a better shot of the same picture, but the profile goes back to the original deleted one, so its not reallly deleting even though it says are you sure. Help
As big as you can get it. The larger the file size, the more products your art can be put onto. I think for the smaller products they want the file size for be at least 1200x1500 px. The ratio will change with the art that you have (square vs rectangle, etc.)
Hi use to be able to post. Pics from my android.Im no longer able files are wrong.I don't how to change the pics,or do I start over with new pis?I'm very technically challenged. Thanks for any help you can give me.
I'm confused about something. What if I don't want it to be a phone case, duvet, etc. And don't they each require certain photo dimensions? I'd think uploading the photo with the right dimensions per the desired item would be best, is there a way to do that...? Never mind, I played around with the site and found it two minutes later... I think.
Thank you very much for your detailed videos. I watched a lot of yours to start POD. I would like to ask. For Fineartamerica, which size of dimensions do you use in digitizing? The file size limitation of 25MB is kind of small for me. If you're okay, please share. Thank you.
Thank you for watching! I hope I have been able to help a little. 25MB is small. Whenever I use a scanner, my files are always way too large. The maximum resolution I can usually get is something around 6000x4000. Anything larger just doesn't work. I hope that helps!
My issue is I have created my account, updated all of my information and uploaded several images. However if I search the image title, any keywords, or my artist name none of my work nor my artist page will show up. Is there something I'm missing?
I'm unable to upload new images as it is getting stuck at 0% while uploading and there is no progress. What could be the problem and how to resolve it? Need you assistance!
Do you have the unlimited account? If you are just using the free account then you are limited to 25 images. Or this could be an issue of internet browser. Clear your cache, and try again.
If this will be your main source of selling your work, then I would consider it. If you have another place where you will put more efforts, maybe just try the free account for a bit. @@mineethkota646
what If I want to set a different markup for a poster of specific size and a canvas of the same size, it seems to only let you add your markup based on the size not the material? is this right?
As far as I can tell, any fine art print has to be the same markup. I understand your frustration there as some may want different markups for different material.
Hi Brian, I am trying to get my images that have been uploaded, into collections. I submitted and saved my images, but it still says I have no collections? Can you please help me?
Have you gone into the "Settings" option in the drop-down menu, then in the second section there is the "Collections" option. There you can create your collections. Once you have created a collection, you can click on it to either add or take away artworks from it. And then when you add new artworks, that collection will be listed as an option to put it directly into.
Hello, appreciate this is there anyway to set a default mark up either by percentage or by amount for all your products or products within a collection?
You can set default mark-ups for all of your products but I don't think you can specify for collections. Go to your "Settings" and in the top row under "General" there is an option called "Default Settings". In there you can set the defaults for everything.
@@BrianSloanArtist thanks, i playde around with it and got through, although there are some limitation that need to be done manually that need to be picked through. . one thing i dont like is that the home pagepnly shows the first 15 products on the product page for an an item, but it is wghat it is
I've had an acct for years and never had a problem uploading images. Now at the end of the upload I get an error message saying it must be in xyz format. It's a jpg image (one of the format options.) and within the size requirements. I get the same thing whether I try from my phone or my laptop.

Sometimes changes like this can take some time to take effect. Has it changed now?
Do you have a suggestions as to the minimum file size to upload? I have some that are showing super tiny and others larger.

Sounds good. You are right, some products look better with different dimension photos. Not ideal when you can only upload one photo.

Did you take a photo of your painting with a professional photo camera or Mobile camera?
Most of them are either taken with a professional photo camera or scanned.

Same for me. Is there some waiting gap or approval time?

That is a pretty small sized photo. You won’t be able to offer too much POD wise. I would recommend getting a higher resolution photo.
why can't register? there is an error security code written even though I have filled it in correctly
