I love my Paras. I use them for gaming and listening to music. Didn't like the stock pads so much as my ears would touch the grills. So I bought some cheap, thicc Chinese Voarmaks "lambskin" pads on Amazon. They were stinky af when they arrived and I kinda doubt they're genuine leather but they're super comfy. I also got the Moondrop Up! balanced XLR cable which I'm kinda torn on. It is generally a nice cable but it is so damn creaky. The Paras' plastic cup construction makes this even worse. So whenever I move my head and the cable touches my shoulders it would creak from where the cable comes out of the 3.5mm jacks. So what I ended up doing was use a velcro cable tie to tie the cables together near my neck so they won't rest on my shoulders anymore. Ghetto solution but it works.
I bought my Paras before I got lucky with an open box Venus, and I love cans both dearly. I love my Paras so much that I did a pad swap with DCA Ether Angled sheepskin pads and had a custom leather support strap made for it too.

Wait until you hear the Cosmo! Actually, you should’ve already heard them. They were at CanJam NYC at the Leiyin table. A Moondrop rep was low key there with them (in Black). No name or price at the time and they sounded pretty damn good under show conditions. I remember hoping that they were a Venus replacement at roughly the same price. They would have been game changers! It turns out that they are being offered at $900 which puts them in a more competitive price range. Still worth considering IMHO.

Ironically Para, literally means *"STOP"* in Portuguese (and Spanish).
They look really high end for Chifi stuff it's mad how far these companies have come . You didn't talk about the bass man , does it have good texture and slam , deep extension?
Zeos are you going to check out the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X Limited Edition? Highly interested on your take on them considering your own like every other model.
How's the clamp strength? Even with the comfiest pads, really clampy headphones give me a headache in just an hour or two, so I'd love to have more options whenever I feel like spending money on headphones :^)
I had the AR5000 and compared them to the Para, I like the Para much better. Wider soundstage, more engaging sound signature that's neutral bright, and better build quality imo. The AR5000 are warmer and tuned for easy listening. Think the HD 600 with a slightly wider soundstage than those, but smaller and more intimate than the Para.
ZReviews, I don't know if you'll answer me or not, but is it worth replacing my Audeze Maxwell with a Moondrop Para, because I'm thinking of buying a Moondrop X crincle Dusk in the next month and then thinking about replacing the Audeze with a Moondrop. Of course, I understand that Para needs an amplifier (I'm thinking about Fiio K11). p.s. At first I was thinking about Moondrop MIAD 01, but if Dusk is great only with USB-C, then a music smartphone is not worth buying for me in my case Have a nice day ^^
