Why removing the battery when only the power ribbon is to be replaced?
+Mario Ayon it is more to show people that better is to remove a battery to avoid any static damages.
+Mario Ayon of course just unplug a battery would be all what's needed, but they might now see that and than ooops!

Hello... Can I ask? I took my Nexus 7 2013 2nd gen to a repair store because the power / volume buttons were broken (were already removed from the slots). I was actually using a key or a ballpen to press the power and it was working but on the long run, after several days of using sharp objects to press the power, it has now malfunctioned. Now, it won't turn on anymore. According to a Technician, there has been a problem with the power ribbon (totally broken or cut) and I was advised that some parts need to be ordered which is the "Power flex assembly". Where can I order this parts at cheaper cost? I currently reside here in Cebu City Philippines. Please let me know more options to fix this issue.. Looking forward .. Thank you..
