宣公上人率弟子於1990年5月應華盛頓大學佛教社的邀請，在西雅圖華盛頓大學發表演講。演講主題是「佛教與教育」。當時隨行的弟子包括恒佐法師、恒豐法師、恒貢法師、恒賢法師、恒文法師、恒彬法師、恒猷法師。畫面中，最右邊的比丘是來自其他寺廟的客僧。
Venerable Master Hua and his disciples were invited to speak at the University of Washington in Seattle in May 1990 by the University's Buddhist Club. The topic was "Buddhism and Education."
The disciples include DM Tso, DM Feng, DM Gong, DM Hsien, DM Wen, DM Bin, and DM Yo. The speaker on the far right was a guest bhikshu from another temple.
