Coheed and Cambria and The Dear Hunter. Two of the very best bands in the world. Also touring together this year. What a lovely mix.
I had to miss them when they came by my state. :(
I think all the Acts are great and Act V is a masterpiece! Every track on that album is a home run IMO!! I'd fund Casey's music personally. Totally worth it based on his catalog so far! It's a crime that Casey doesn't make a living on his music with all the pop garbage there is out there. I bought the CDs and listen to Spotify almost nonstop hoping every little bit helps. I finally caught a live show in 2016 and it was one of the best shows I've been to because the crowd was so energetic and the live sound though different than the albums sounded great!
I love every second of this.
I figured that Act VI would have a bit of the afterlife to it, but it sounds like it might be more direct than what I expected. I've always expected it to "zoom out" of the focus on Hunter much in the same way Act I slowly zoomed in.
I'm most looking forward to figuring out more about Mr. Usher, as I first imagined him as more of a force of nature villain than someone with very selfish goals like TP&TP, but clarifications from the band suggest that I might've been hasty in that assumption.

I was thinking the same till I got to the part where he covered the orchestra costs for Acts IV and V. He can be as much a muppet as he likes!
