- James finished up a Vintage Model Co Balsa Basics Spitfire and took it out for a maiden flight equiped with a Runcam 2 4k camera on the starboard wing. Here's an edit of the seemless flight from hand launch to landing.
This is the Limited Edition Balsa Basics Spitfire (D day Photo Reconnaissance). If you'd like just one of just 50 available until they run out of stock, click here to find out more www.vintagemod...

You might notice the plane seems a little on the noisy side! This is because of an inballanced spinner (they're quite hard to get spot on!). The onboard footage is great!
It would be great if it wasn't with this wide lense camera that makes the horizon as a curve.
So disturbing and irritating...
I like the way you made it look like a vintage Aurora Famous Fighters spitfire from the fifties.
Very nice model, and excellent video. I'm going to unbalance the spinners on my planes so they make the same sound :-)
Sick!
I've very interested in the camera. I notice you mounted it on the wing. I wonder if you could give some details, or even better - a short video?
Good job!
Very nice
Could you recommend a rubberband powered model kit for a complete beginner?
Why are the kits so expensive do they come with or without the electronics
NICE
My Dream is to make one ot those monster
OOOO, COOL!!
i spent many months and 400$ on this and when I threw it just how you did it went to the left and crashed I even counter steered it to the right
Did you follow the steps that are necessary like correct CG and checking that control surfaces are set up correctly? I’m almost done with mine and hope it flys. Sorry about yours.
@@kiwiboater yes i checked the CG
@@sigve7008 what was the damage? Surely it isn’t beyond repair
@@kiwiboater propeller broke motor sounds squeky tail is broken and the firewall is loose and I cant change it
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Why not free flight? RC. Is like holding a model in your hand and making Zoom zoom noises. Making a model inherently stable and flying on it's own is a different and less expensive Rubber power also less money driven. Of course the larger the model the bigger the flying space needed. Start with peanut scale and work up.

Don't cry princess
