Believe it or not, this is the song I listened to days before my grandmother passed away, every time I listen to it it reminds me so much of her that I want to turn back time.
This song was one of my personal favorites off the black album.. got me through depression, suicidal thoughts, and a lot of s#it. Lost the girl I was with for 4 years, went to Basic training for the Army, and I still fought my demons. But Here I Am still. Now happily married, not looking back, and embracing the new future I have with my loving wife. Blood Rain Slicer it’s more than okay to evolve and not scream, bring me to the horizon did a phenomenal job with amo in creating an amazing atmosphere with meaningful lyrics. AA however, sounds uninspired with lyrics that just sound....juvenile. Plus the mixing on the new stuff is some absolute trash.
This song and whole album has helped me through my darkest depression. I relate to this so much and I wouldn't still be here if it weren't for Dennis and Asking. At a time where I felt so misunderstood and betrayed, this band was there for me and I had someone who understood what I was going through. Thank you all so much. God bless you. I know Danny helped making AA get huge popularity and made great albums, but I think I got more sad with Denis leaving than when he left. The Black is surely to me the band's best album.
Saw them play copenhell in Copenhagen Denmark in 2015 with Denis!! Such an awesome performance, listened to this album on repeat afterwards, great album.
Look guys, shit happens ok, especially in bands, Danny chose to leave AA and that's his fault that you now have Dennis as your new front man. What's done is done. You can't change it. Now, if it it wasn't for Dennis there probably wouldn't be an AA. This band probably would have been another one of those bands that don't make any music anymore but thanks to Dennis this band is still touring and looks like they will keep making music. I'm not going to lie tho, I miss Danny too but at the same time I'm glad AA moved on real quick and got to work right away when they found Dennis and released I Won't Give In as the first single that fast. That shows how much they care about us fans. The music it self still sounds like AA but with Dennis's vocals instead but it sounds so great. When I heard I Won't Give In play on XM Octane I knew that this wasn't going to disappoint me. I like the change very much and it doesn't sound bad at all. This is how the band wanted sound and if Danny was still here, the band probably wouldn't sound like this.

As someone who has followed this band since their start, I think The Black was truly my favorite album. Even without Danny, Denis was able to show them their roots, and show them something new. The lyrics in all these songs were powerful, meaningful, and it was the most emotionally charged album to date. Especially for Ben letting his anger and frustration towards Danny go free. On the bright side, I'm more than happy to see Danny back in the band, and I hope that they not only move forward from this, but take what they learned and performed on this album and apply it to something even better on the next release.

Blood Rain Slicer it’s more than okay to evolve and not scream, bring me to the horizon did a phenomenal job with amo in creating an amazing atmosphere with meaningful lyrics. AA however, sounds uninspired with lyrics that just sound....juvenile. Plus the mixing on the new stuff is some absolute trash.

Such an awesome performance, listened to this album on repeat afterwards, great album.
Look guys, shit happens ok, especially in bands, Danny chose to leave AA and that's his fault that you now have Dennis as your new front man. What's done is done. You can't change it. Now, if it it wasn't for Dennis there probably wouldn't be an AA. This band probably would have been another one of those bands that don't make any music anymore but thanks to Dennis this band is still touring and looks like they will keep making music. I'm not going to lie tho, I miss Danny too but at the same time I'm glad AA moved on real quick and got to work right away when they found Dennis and released I Won't Give In as the first single that fast. That shows how much they care about us fans. The music it self still sounds like AA but with Dennis's vocals instead but it sounds so great. When I heard I Won't Give In play on XM Octane I knew that this wasn't going to disappoint me. I like the change very much and it doesn't sound bad at all. This is how the band wanted sound and if Danny was still here, the band probably wouldn't sound like this.

To be really honest, when it comes to bands like Asking Alexandria I thought they were would be under the same genre which is Metalcore. I'm still trying to get the hang of all this by the way lol
+gamonmiguel05 i mean yeah, they're a metalcore band, but as far as deathcore and metalcore, those are like their own separated genre of music, mainly because it branched out a lot in terms of sound to be classified as metal or hardcore :)

As someone who has followed this band since their start, I think The Black was truly my favorite album. Even without Danny, Denis was able to show them their roots, and show them something new. The lyrics in all these songs were powerful, meaningful, and it was the most emotionally charged album to date. Especially for Ben letting his anger and frustration towards Danny go free.
On the bright side, I'm more than happy to see Danny back in the band, and I hope that they not only move forward from this, but take what they learned and performed on this album and apply it to something even better on the next release.

as a long time listener (since middle school) early 2010s, i listened to most of their stuff including their early EP before stand up and scream, reckless and relentless, from death to destiny, the black and especially this particular song is one of their best creation. Now im a 26 years old adult and this album is really close to my heart.
