Great little controller as a back up or playing at small events like BBQ's. Also if you press the shift and cue buttons together you can extend the pitch fader values from 8,16 to 50 😀
I have one as a second controller and overall its a great little device. Also works well with Virtual DJ. One minor issue is the line faders are quite close to the cross fader, but I guess this is unavoidable due to the compact size of the unit.
looking to this one for backup, currently using rolanddj707M and vdj however really want to use djay... so I want to have a separate setup next to mine with this and djay pro since the integration with apple music will give me pretty much all I need as a backup system... portability is a must I think this is the one for all I need as a back up. thanks great video as always
Looks almost perfect. I wish it had a mic in and 3 band eq. The former is easily fixable, most pa systems have multiple inputs anyway so not that fussy. 3 band EQ isn't that big of a deal, cutting highs and lows is mostly what one does anyway, but still if there was a way to fit in 3band eq + small gain knobs, Another minor inconvinience I see is the play.cue at the right when I'm used to it being on the left on most gear, feels reversed. But hat's off to Reloop for the dedicated loop buttons and 8 RGB pads and FX section, long pitch faders, overall looks like very solid portable unit ! Respect !
Reloop Ready 100% has only 2 band eq and it’s annoying as yes DJ;s mostly cut out bass but with 2 band eq it also takes out some mids and on BIG systems it sounds WEAK!
This little thing is amazing. I have both buddy and Ready. BUT my only big concern is that the pads are not easy to press. They need a lot more pressure than most controllers, even more pressure than Buddy. Is that normal? Sometimes i press them and its not working until i try harder. And when you're djing fast, you might miss the button....... And i guess thats not something that i can fix?
@@stevenguillory9716 ready is much better. It does more things, more buttons. But the only thing that I prefer on buddy and I miss on ready is the effects switches.
Thank you very much for this video!!! One question: is there a possibility to play with this controller by using TRAKTOR PRO? Unfortunately, I can not find any proper midi-mappings in the Internet…
Isn't it possible to connect the mic to the 3,5mm input of your laptop and make adjustments in the dj software? :) Maybe not the best solution but as portable as possible.
Thanks for the video! Did you actually try connecting to djay on an Android device? I'm curious if it actually works but can't find this detail in the official materials or other reviews. Cheers!
It's really compact gear, I like it a lot. Personally, the only thing I would prefer different is a full kill eq and ideally that as a 3-band. But even without that it works really well. Is there any chance you can change it to full kill in the MIDI mappings (if yes: how?)?

Thanks mojaxx for another review, and what a lovely helmet you got there, beskar is hard to come by.

I think it does have 3band eq. Maybe your confused with the buddy, i have one and that definitely only has a 2 band eq

Cheers Chris, all questions answered mate.

Which of the two do you prefer? I have the Ready but curious about the Buddy.

I really wish this had a mic....You could Twitch stream anywhere if it had a mic input!
@@djsynced7625 I get that but less is more when your on the go!
@@djsynced7625 What is the best mini mixer?

Just use a small usb audio mixer.

is there any button that you can move on the song like Traktor s2 mk3 which has the move knob?
Thanks Mojaxx!

You can't switch to EQ kill in Serato. But in your Serato settings you can switch between +/- 6dB +/- 12dB on EQ Boost.
Good review
Is this controller works with djay pro for windows 10??
Hi !
What is the app on the iphone ?
Thanks!
DJ Pro AI
Is it midi mappable
Does it works with Android?
Did the Reloop Buddy ever come out in North America?
Hey Mojaxx, it’s everyone
ah..... i was all over this until i realised it had only 2 EQs..... in the age of stems you need the 3 of them so you can cut the instrument section
The price sucks, let's not talk about if you might need to get Serato full version(if you don't owe it already), it puts it up there around 500!
I'd say it's worth it because the controller has access to all of Serato Pro's features, again though not for beginners.
I'm not supposed to buy anything else! Haha
Why is tips & tricks in the title if it was only a review? Stop that.
This guy always talks about the street price but I wanna know the store price
FULL buddy regret.
