Just to save you some hassle, there are only credit scenes at the end of seasons - so the last episode of this season is the next and last one.

@@scp_redacted989 what possible reason could one have to be expecting a scene in the credits of that episode? _That_ is why it's a spoiler.

@@streaky81 Fair point. I've seen a reactor actually miss it. I just didn't want that to happen again.

@@scp_redacted989 yeah, it's a difficult one. It's easy to _not_ miss - but I think it's one of those that shouldn't be explicitly called out.

I know we’ve identified his probable Dissociative Identity Disorder, but I also think he’s coded autistic. His disconnect with societal norms and intense monotropic focus on his work are big markers, but this episode illustrates his alexithymia-difficulty identifying and expressing emotions. It’s complicated because when you’ve got a character with two overlapping conditions, it makes for an interesting and nuanced character, but it also brings in issues of education and advocacy if the show doesn’t make clear what traits go with what condition. There’s no obligation for the show to do that work, but it does open up questions of how write responsibly. I think this show does a good job of balancing the disabling/neutral/exceptional aspects of Elliot’s character. He’s extraordinary but still entirely human.

He pulls it off exceptionally well too, I'd say. I don't think his character would work without a talented actor.

@@SathReacts Totally agree. The easiest way to get me up in metaphorical arms is an unfair or implausible portrayal of disability, but I have no quarrel with any of this. It takes careful writing and exceptional acting, and this is virtually flawless.
