Longest I ever spent by myself was 13 days. 8 of those were in intermittent combat though. Don't know if that counts as 'alone', but they certainly weren't coming over to swap recipe ideas or have a cup of tea. Few shots in the morning, few in the afternoon, game of chase at night and then before morning they were back in bed.

I started watching some of Strick and Fran's videos and saw you in some, lol I then found these videos of your Blue Highway journey and it's been inspiring to watch. Both your resilience and knowledge of the land is amazing to watch. Thank you for sharing this trip with us, and I hope your friend recovers from his ordeal. Big shout out from Ontario Canada. :)

I've been watching B2B for well over a year with Strict & Fran...then found you as well. I thoroughly enjoy all of your channels (including your farm/ranch). The longest I've spent alone was 14 days in a cabin in the mountains of Northern Arizona. My friend and her husband wanted to travel the country but have 2 pups and a cat and I needed a break from the ocean (I live on the ocean just north of Ft Lauderdale Florida). There wasn't another home anywhere near the cabin. It was bliss at first and a bit concerning after around 7 days in...I was freaking myself out thinking I was hearing and seeing stuff at night, but once I was able to get my brain straightened out I went back to exploring and enjoying the blessed mountains. That was back in 2016 and I haven't been back...life has a way of making living difficult at times. Traveling is difficult now, my body doesn't handle it well anymore thanks to someone smashing into me so I get to enjoy the world through others eyes now and thats okay...I enjoy your channels, thank you for doing what you do and taking people you don't know along, x

I have been teaching wilderness survival since the 70's and I don't know how many times I have yelled at the screen as you let perfectly good food go after you expended the energy to catch said food. If you truly are in a survival situation you NEVER let good food go. It takes to much energy to get in the first place. Besides that I love your adventures and would love to join you or have you come out to British Columbia for an adventure exploring the coast. Stay safe out there!

Hey Az' love the Blue Highway 2.0 & everything Strick & Fran have done. You ask an interesting question about how long you've spent on your own. I'm a bit like you, I love company & can be the most social person at a gathering but am also really comfortable in my own company. That being said, a good 4-6hrs on my trusty Triumph is probably as close as I get to extended me time & living in busy Sydney that's a miracle in it's own right. I have so much admiration for what you all do & your dedication to self sufficiency & cleaning up the oceans. Keep doing what you do & keep finding ways to be more B2B, you're an inspiration to many...

I always thought I could be a Hermit and now after no contact with people no phone or email contact I can say I am a Hermit. My only regret is I didn't do it earlier. The absence of stress and turmoil from being around people is just so peaceful.
