Add to it the erratic screen operation - artifacts and one might hypothesize leaking diodes at the alternator/ generator and or failing diodes and leaking capacitors at a power supply. I generally test the DC Power using the multimeter set to AC. Any AC current in the DC system is a fail. I'm often amazed at how many technicians don't check. Two or three failed screens or other solid state failures people still don't know. Yes folks, AC current can ride on the DC supply like a ghost - cooking electrical components like a slow simmer. One failed diode at the alternator - regulator is the perfect scenario. This also causes FLA batteries to deteriorate significantly faster often a few months. 😊

Yep. Moringa for sure. I wouldn't eat the woody parts or the dry 'beans' but the leaves are great in smoothies or soup, and the bean pods when tender can be cooked into a lovely curry.

You can make BONUS batches with the same pineapple scraps! Filter off your done tepache, add sugar and spices to the pineapple scraps, refill with non-chlorinated water, and ferment again. We usually make up to five batches! They taste a little lighter every round but still just as delicious and fermented. We always look forward to your episodes. Enjoy! 🍍🍺

Hi Jason , hang your fuel bags on your life line, then get a syphon line, here (US) any auto store carries them. Syphon lines have a pellet the size of a marble in a rigid tube, you stick one side on your fuel bags and when you shake the tube with the pellet it will start the syphoning . They cost only a few dollars and you can use maybe two at the same time.
They also will not take space when stored. Frederick

Then, while out and about another couple thousand to have a professional van builder take a look at (and fix) my electrical system. Love the diesel pouches. Might steal that idea. Tired of finding space for jerry cans. We were thinking of installing a third diesel tank that is 40 to 60 gallons as our "jerry can". And then all we would need is some kind of container to transfer from the gas station to the boat! So those are really good idea! Thx for sharing.
Most people I've met with new boats, regardless of brand, have claimed to have spent at least 40% of their first 2 years in warranty repair or waiting for warranty repair. Not to mention all the delays and missed deadlines on their boat being built. So that all seems pretty "normal" but not fun.
If I could recommend one thing. DO NOT COMPROMISE on those engines. You might even want independent survey of that coolant issue. HH/Beta is going to do everything they can to avoid installing a new engine. If you're getting seawater into the wrong area, that's not good. Can you clean it and it probably ok? Sure. But it's a brand new engine and you just put a ton of wear and rust on the inside of that heat exchanger. They should replace the entire thing, and you should have them check all seals and make sure that seawater didn't get into anywhere else. All that warranty work is already factored into what you paid. Use it! Don't let anyone half ass fixing those things now, or you will regret later!

Rhubarb works very well and so do apples, I have made Cider up to 13%ABV, and Rhubarb wine up to 28%ABV. just thought you might like to know. Have an experiment for a bit of variety, see what you get.

Seems to me the fuel bags are ideal! Jeri and would be a step backwards! I just love vicariously sailing along with you, and you guys do such a great job sharing your experiences! You guys are great! As soon as I retire I’m going to sign on to join your crew!!!

Love the video, I really like those diesel bags- great ideal. Space saving and light to carry- when empty! I am surprised that you aren’t filtering the diesel when pouring it into the tank though- unless a filter is built in to the bag. Warranty problems are with everything- even new homes- and they are stable environments. The most surprising issue is that engine coolant- I can’t wait to hear what is the cause. Although you never mentioned if you checked the oil dipstick. Better to happen early when it is covered than later when it’s coming out of your own pocket! Thankfully HH does offer a great warranty period with their builds- I have read at least.

To state the obvious. Extra water and fuel are typically stored on deck secured to the lifelines, on many cruising boats.

This is the second sailing channel I started watching with the first one quit sailing. I am so glad you have continued sailing as you show the good and the sort of down side to sailing. I also like that you are willing to show the local countries and communities that you visit. You show the real live of sailing and that is so nice to see. Fair winds and good fortunes where ever you go.

Man, guys. The new boat is so beautiful! I can only imagine how much you're loving it --even with the warranty work that's coming up. I totally remember the lockdown videos!! I can't believe I've been watching you for so many years. Safe travels!

It is unfortunate that you can’t stop and explore. That is the whole vibe of your chosen lifestyle. But maintenance first! You’ll come back; as on your radar of a want. Safe travels!!

A few repairs needed but, in most new anything, there is work that needs to be done to get it to the specs. you expect. Here is praying for the best and that it all comes together quickly so you are not stuck in dry dock for very long. Blessings

Another adventure! That little town looked like a cool place...
The diesel pouches seem to work well and are space savers...
Perhaps there's a way to connect the siphon pump to them?
Cebu is a great place to have maintenance done, lots to see on the island...
Will look forward to the next episode, until then enjoy and stay safe!
There's a couple of typhoons in the area now, so hopefully you've reached the marina by now...
    Cheers!

Well after a lot of binge watching your channel, I have finally caught up. You are fun to watch and I love how well you explain everything. The new boat looks awesome and I hope you and HH get everything fixed. So glad Jason got his dishwasher 😊. I also like you have a workshop, I am retired military, now a woodworker and love being in my shop. I couldn't tell much from the video about your worksurface, but it looked like it could get scratched up, Jason you might consider get a rollup mat to protect it from tools and stuff. I hope you guys are safe from the Typhoon. I know you have a lot to learn and show us still about your new boat, I was curious about the rain water collection. I assume it has plugs for when you are not collecting, but I think that would be a good future video. Also love that you decided to do a movie projector, look forward to all your future episodes. I have never sailed and probably never will, but I have traveled lots of the world. I am glad you made it to New Zealand, its one of my top places I visited and you didn't miss much in Antarctica. But you should hit Australia whlie your that close. Take care, until your next adventure.

May the Wynns adventure continue - reviewing the comments I mostly agree - corrosion is like water it will take the pathway of least resistance - therefore if there is an issue every ground / sacrificial anode requires to be removed cleaned and reconnected - it’s not as easy as it sounds Good luck Cheers

You know I was thinking the other day how I enjoy watching the videos. You all have very good content giving your stories of your adventures and the things that happen I've been following since your RV days of all the channels I have watched. I love watching you all the most. You do a very good job of doing your videos. Storytelling and educational The other folks I have about stopped watching. They just don't have good contents like you

23:16 I wonder why manufacturers haven’t yet incorporated duel fuel ports? One on the outward edge for dock fueling, and another inboard for onboard/in route fueling?

I took pictures and a short video on the dog on the motorcycle. I liked that. Thanks. 👍

Thanks for the tepache tutorial. Two batches in, and it's tasting fine. Latest batch had 1C brown sugar, 1 cinnamon stick and a dozen or so cloves. For yeast, I splurged and added 1/2t Safale US-05. Had a spiced aroma, although flavoring was still very subtle. ABV ended at 1.77%. We love watching your videos!
