This time I took the vocal depths (again) and injected some Type O Negative style into the iconic Metallica's song 'The Unforgiven'. So, what if Type O Negative really made this song? Well, take a listen to this version, as my imagination of the combo.

Okay, not even all the way through the song and I have to stop and say this is so close to being perfectly Type O Negative, it's incredible. Somewhere, Peter Steele is smiling. Close your eyes, it's Type O Negative. And their tendency to do covers means this just falls right in line with what they would do. Would love to hear a Type O style cover of For Whom the Bell Tolls. Or even Megadeth Peace Sells But Who's Buying. Please don't stop doing this. Type O Negative or any other band. What you do is phenomenally entertaining. Thank you so much. And yes, I get chills listening to this because it IS so close to perfection.

I can really appreciate the complete reimagining of the melody for this. It is a difficult task to do a song you've heard a thousand times and not have it sound almost exactly like the original

Red Water(Christmas Mourning) would be festive this time of year
One of my all time favorite Type O Negative songs. Along with Wolf Moon, All Hallows Eve, and Bloody Kisses(A Death in the Family). These songs have such an eerie and sad feel to them, more-so than other band have composed. Peter Steele had an amazing way of projecting his pain into the lyrics he wrote.

Spectacular! You emulate peter steele's distinct vocal style so well! In all honesty, if Type O decided to get back together again i would hope they place you at the helm. It's a pipedream at best but I greatly miss their music. If nothing else, this a beautiful tribute.

This song has always fascinated me, seeing Metallica live in '92, Kirk used a Strat on this song and I thought it sounded perfect. I always wondered why he didn't use his Strat for "One" and "Nothing Else Matters" as well. Great job and you captured Type O's sound perfect!

This is pure fucking gold! I hung with Pete on numerous occasions and never missed a show anywhere on the East coast. I've been listening to Type O since I was 17 and I'm 47 now. I knew every sound that came from Pete's vocals and let me tell you... You have it my man! You are giving us what we've been missing ever since that dreadful day... as close as anyone will get.
