Dorking Around at the 2024 BMW MOA Rally in Redmond, Oregon

- The annual BMW MOA Rally was held just two hours from my house this year, so you know I had to hop on my KTM to ride over and check it out. I somehow convinced them to let me in even though I have never owned a BMW motorcycle. Once inside, I discovered a super fun event filled with a ton of cool vendors and even cooler people. I had a great time goofing around with the gang from REV'IT, Alpinestars, Cyclops Adventure Sports, and yes even Flying Eyes who wasted no time shoving a pair of their shades onto my face in order to prove my previous video about them wrong.
Super cool to have had the 2024 BMW MOA Rally in my home state and while I was only able to hang out for one day, I had a blast and hope to attend another BMW MOA Rally in the future.

That was my bust windshield that was jb welded and zip tied!!! 😂😂😂 I broke it on monday out riding some trails and had to leave Wednesday with my group 😅 I guess I can't get rid of it now that it's RUclips famous

Yes planned. Registration filled up in 20 minutes when I opened it back in February. Sorry man, maybe next year!
Just remember to keep your pinky extended when drinking wine at one of these rallies, and they will likely not suspect you.

As a recent convert to the bmw world, I’m still learning to keep my nose in the air at all times. It gets rather disorienting but I’m learning.

Nice talking to you at the rally. (We complimented the guffaws in your 790 test video) The most likely reason for you to be refused entry was actually being too young for the BMWMOA but thanks for not including any geezer comments in this video! Keep up the good work.

I went to a BMWMOA event in Montana. Only time I rode without a helmet. Picked up a sheep skin for the ride back.
I wish I had known about this event. 🙁

I went to Pro caliber here in Vancouver Washington checked out the F850 GS asked if any of them have been coming back? Was told this comes with a 30,000 mile yada yada yada. Explained that’s not what I’m asking. The sales guy didn’t like the question came home. Did some research found out“all” new BMWs are made in “China” thanks anyway

Soooo…… you’re saying Flying Eyes are not overpriced since they gave you a pair??? They’re still a rip off even though they gave you some. They expect us to believe they didn’t have them made in China for $10 each? Well, I’m not buying in to the expensive sunglasses scam!
Can definitely see the demographic that they are pushing to. Grey hair and over 55. The money machines 😆.
As for the flying eyes... 12 dollar UV saftey glasses can go on back roads, take punishment, have no worries in a accident and can be tossed with no regrets 24 times to one.
Some people enjoy filet mignon, some people prefer roast beef. Neither is wrong.
Why wouldn't they both are made in China and overpriced . Broke My Wallet and Keeps Taking Money. Same same but different.
