Also the “Your journey begins in the dead of night” option at the beginning, while leveling is slower until level 50 then ramps back up, nets you 100,000 less exp needed to get to level 100!
Me and my sister just started our first replay of all the games since Re:Mind right as you started uploading these helpful videos again. It’s like you knew lmao. Glad to see it
Love the guy, but he'll never be a proper keyblade wielder, have you seen him play any of the games? Man sucks at the combat and even more at data battles.
Another method is to unlock all the tech boosts in the game and guard the Ice Titan shards. Plus, if you defeat it, that’s an extra mass of exp after every fight. Thankfully you keep the experience you obtain in every cup in KH1FM.
On my main account I’ve been subbed for +10 years before the original KH 1.5 ps3 collection was released and this felt like such a throwback video to see you make! 😂
Any talk of Level 100 runs need to start with the personality test at the beginning of the game. Getting the "Dead of Night" result means leveling up more slowly in the early game, but shaving around 100k XP off of the total run.
My easiest Method for getting Level 100 fast is challenging the ROCK TITAN Boss , the last Battle in Hades Cup over and over (8000 EXP per fight , roundabout 1 minute) U need to finish the Hades Cup normal , solo and time trial in order to fight against him over and over . Ps: when u put Aero on u get a lot of Tech Points on this boss
THANK GOD! I forgot everything about some stuff and needed to get there on my new first run again . . what .. . 22 nd play through since go release?!.. (/-.-)/ lolol drinkin. thanks for being here man!
The first method was more beneficial back in the vanilla PS2 version because, man, those Crystal Crowns... As for mid-game grinding, a favorite method of mine has to be juggling Rare Truffles on Neverland pirate ship as soon as they become available. I could get a little overleveled before Hollow Bastion 1st visit thanks to the 5050 EXP I got from each successful 100-hit juggles, not to mention being able to stock up on Elixirs and Megalixirs.
Ha, I left Destiny Islands at level 15. (For some weird reason I was I'm not leaving until lv 15) Tried to with Waka, but accidentally progressed the story and had do it with all the shadow heartless.😅
in my multiple playthroughs i wanted always to be higher than goofy, but no matter how much i leveled on destiny islands, he always was one level higher than me
For this game, I've just leveled up naturally when synthesis grinding in the late game every time I've played it. It's so easy to passively level up to 100 when doing that.
Wow… this is such a coincidence LMAOO, I was literally just looking up guides yesterday on how to hit level 99 and went ahead to grinding to level 99 yesterday night and you post this the very next day lol. I just maxed out all my drive forms and hit lvl 99, so now I’m tryna figure out what’s next for me to do in preparing to beating all of these end game secret bosses, Sephiroth, data battles, etc. Ppl recommended me to set my shortcut menu a certain way which is one thing I did, but I’m not sure if there’s anything else I needa do before my next attempt at beating Sephiroth after I got smacked 20 times by him, and then proceeding with the other bosses💚🐍✅
I am definitely going to use this for my clean-up run for platinum. Also do you think you could do a guide on how to make chain of memories fun. Lol! Enjoy your night thanks for this.
I think one of the best leveling methods is also blocking the ice attacks from the ice titan or just killing the rock titan over and over in the collisseum. That are huge amounts of exp
You actually don't have to fight through the entirety of the Hades Cup if you don't want to. You can just fight the Rock Titan over and over again seeing as he gives you like 10,000 EXP. This is actually a viable option for any point in the game. After you beat a tournament, go back and fight the boss until you get to a certain level and they stop being worth so much. That's what I did with Hercules for a while.
Interesting ways to farm EXP. I usually ran through Hollow Bastion after sealing that world’s keyhole and got a bunch of levels from that as well. Though i wished I remembered there being so many Defenders in Traverse Town. Would’ve made getting that shield a lot less tedious
See I do the traverse town one similarly but also add the rooftops and top of the gizmo shop as well. But overall these are great methods thanks for the info^^
I'm surprised he didn't mention the ACTUAL best ways in the game to farm exp. 1) The best method, by far, is fighting Rock Titan. However, this requires beating the Hades Cup in a time limit to be able to select that match alone, so use the #2 method if you don't want to do that. 2) After beating the Hades Cup, the Gold Match is unlocked. Fight Ice Titan, but only focus on blocking his ice shards. Equip as many "Tech Boost"s as you can to increase the EXP gained from each blocked shard. You don't even need to win. You keep all EXP gained even when you lose the match. Obviously, neither of these give materials. If you want to get materials, methods 1 and 2 from the video are decent strategies.
Once again I have gone down this road in chronological order almost 100% birth by sleep and then on to the OG also still have ds copies of 358/2 days and recoded so will watch the cutscenes on collection as well as play still tied with final fantasy and Zelda as my favourite game series
the easiest method I found was fighting the Rock Titan over and over. it's a nice easy fight that gives tons of exp plus every hit gives tech points if I'm remembering right
Yeah, I have been playing the game :) on PC, good tips. I cannot believe it the KH Series is on PC. I remember playing KH on my PS2, PS3, PS4, and now PC. Btw if you are considering a join button, please let us know. Make sure it is affordable. Old time follower.
Why does nobody mention the Neverland grind? Probably the easiest and most convenient grind. Wait until the rare truffle appears on the deck and then juggle like there is no tomorrow. Since you have the fly ability, you can literally juggle it mid-air. It will give you 5050 XP if you juggle it 100 times. 50 hits even gives you an Elixir and 100 hits a Final Elixir. So in total, when there are 3 rare truffles and you do everything right, you'll get 15150 XP, 3 Elixirs and 3 Final Elixirs per session.
Once I got level 70 or so and was able to beat Sephiroth, I'd just farm him. It was like 13 or 18k xp per kill and if you're good enough to beat him consistently, he doesn't take that long yet nets a TON of xp
18k EXP was in the vanilla PS2 version, it was reduced to 10k on the Final Mix. Although, from my experience playing the vanilla PS2 version, that 18k EXP didn't even matter because I was guaranteed to gain a level every time I beat Sephy regardless of the amount of EXP required for the next level up, even if above 18k. Not sure if it was just me or others have seen it as well.
Leveling up in RPG games in a pain, endless hours of finding enemies and memorize how much Exp each gives. Now that the entire KH series in on PC I can simply use cheat engine and save myself a waste of time.
Go to Halloween town, and juggle the rare truffles that spawn by the bridge before boogies house. Also doing a proud run, was level 47 at neverland thanks to the rare truffles.
playing it was a complete waste of time on steam. it barely loaded and only went forward 1 or 2 frames every 20 seconds or so at the initial options menu and was extremely laggy and i just uninstalled it and will wait for a major update for it to come out. its not like my laptop cant handle it or anything like that. it effortlessly plays my time at sandrock (surprisingly graphic intensive) and cyberpunk 2077 on high/ultra settings with little to no problems whatsoever. im just going to stick with the PS4 versions if this game on my PS5 which runs very smoothly so far.
Just bought kh on steam and started playing again on proud and man... I'm rusty. I was never amazing at the game, but didn't expect to get stuck in the first fcking boss 😢
nope, still wrong. gizmo shop is superior in every way. going to the hotel and clearing it is a complete waste of time. just equip encounter plus and go in and out of the gizmo shop thats it. its far superior to anything in this video and only takes an hour and a half to reach level 100 from level 40.
Yeah idk why at least one method wasn’t with the encounter plus ON. I get it’s generally dull, but he included other dull ones that have random enemy spawns which make them more annoying than gizmo shop. 🤷♂️
Also the “Your journey begins in the dead of night” option at the beginning, while leveling is slower until level 50 then ramps back up, nets you 100,000 less exp needed to get to level 100!
Level 50 not 40
@@TotallyNotThatOneGuy *42. 42 is actually the break point where it starts taking less EXP to level up
This comment should be pinned. Honestly information like that should be in the video too.
I think one of my favorite parts of these games being on steam is this sort of content being super relevant again. Cant wait for more!
The traverse town hallway is the strat I used back when I was a kid and it was so useful for beating the unknown figure.
Seeing so many people experiencing kingdom hearts for the first time is such a beautiful thing
Me and my sister just started our first replay of all the games since Re:Mind right as you started uploading these helpful videos again. It’s like you knew lmao. Glad to see it
When Cynical was born, the doctor said, "This boy will be a keyblade wielder one day..." And thus the legend began 😌🙏
Ong even Sora wanted his autograph.
Love the guy, but he'll never be a proper keyblade wielder, have you seen him play any of the games?

Man that's what i'm doing since more than 10 years now. And sometimes i just farm Sephiroth
@@joladouillenoname4404 You farm HIM?! 😯🤯
Also also if you fully complete the Hades cup, Use Aeroga on all party members and melee the shit outta the rock titan, fantastic exp gains!
@@gamesmaster804 i Never Saw your comment, but yes! Sorry for the late response
Oh boy, i can't wait to go back to this video multiple times to remind myself what to do
On my main account I’ve been subbed for +10 years before the original KH 1.5 ps3 collection was released and this felt like such a throwback video to see you make! 😂
It doesn't matter how old this game is.
A guide like this is always great for newcomers!
the grind never ends
I remember watching vids like this back in the day
Updating the guides is so smart and a nice refresh for those who play on Steam!!
In my 28 years of being alive, I didn’t think I’d ever see a fast levelling guide for KH1 in 2024. This man is the goat
Currently aiming to get perfection in kh1 so I appreciate this!!! Just 3 more trophies to go

Wow blast from the past
I farmed the gold cup on the colosseum until i got to 100, it's the most fast way since it's always a level up for me.
Hi Its me a new player to KH who has bought whats on PC and is gonna 100% them thanks for the guide :)
Omg I needed you a few weeks ago! I’m at level 63!
Great guides for PC gamers who are experiencing the game for the first time (:
I think one of the best leveling methods is also blocking the ice attacks from the ice titan or just killing the rock titan over and over in the collisseum. That are huge amounts of exp
my favorite method is the deep jungle, fight enemies from the tent to the clif then back again
Basically unlock and equip all the tech and exp boosts as soon as possible to start.
nostalga hits hard
Thank you. I am someone that hasn’t played in years.

Method 4: Fight sephiroth. You always get a level up from beating him, and is technically faster the closer you get to the level cap
It's so cool with the steam deck that i could just remap the A button to turbo and put less stress on my thumb.
Interesting ways to farm EXP. I usually ran through Hollow Bastion after sealing that world’s keyhole and got a bunch of levels from that as well. Though i wished I remembered there being so many Defenders in Traverse Town. Would’ve made getting that shield a lot less tedious

Please do one for KH II and Birth by Sleep 👍
I personally just did the synthesis side quest and that got me to like level 95
Traverse town is the move
Instead of equipping the EXP Accessories on Sora, equip them on goofy so you can keep your stats and abilities while grinding.
The traverse town is my go to

I can’t wait to play like it’s 2003 again and sit down for 12 hours playing in the same area until I’m strong enough lol
My personal preferred method for KH1 levelling is the ice titan
Just started playing all the games again on my PS5! Maybe kingdom hearts 4 will be out by the time i finish lol
I always try to level up as much as possible in Destiny Island, but I always quit eventually. The latest I’ve ever went in Level 17.

Big brain move. Make a video about exp items then release a video about exp grinding to plug another video
Mostly did method 1, was farming munny in the hallway
Love these videos but you should refrain from spoilers if you’re targeting these for newer players

What level should i be before i go into hollow bastion ? Im here rn but only level 40 so idk if i should go in or not yet
I hope there will be some more optimization updates for the game since I'm running rx6600 xt and ryzen 5 5600x

Hey so EXP boost is shared with party members?
I remember Ice Titan and reflecting its attack for tech xp was THE grinding method. Isn't it a thing anymore?

Okay. Fine. I beat the hades cup for trinity limit :p
Oh god I remember following the traverse town route as a kid but uhhhhh. I don’t know if I equipped any exp items. Maybe one? I do not remember.
If u kinda just do stuff for the other achievements u kinda just get to lvl 100 naturally
Do a play through please 🫡
Bro I used to watch your kh streams when I was in college and I'm streaming them now :) would love to see you stream the games again
Can't even remember what i did to level up to 100 probably the colleseum
I’m stuck at neverland on proud, level 30. Any recommended xp farm or guides for this. Shadow Sora is kicking my booty.
Go to Halloween town, and juggle the rare truffles that spawn by the bridge before boogies house. Also doing a proud run, was level 47 at neverland thanks to the rare truffles.
I just don't have any of the material for the exp items lol and I think I only have the ring available
