Is amazing to see a person on RUclips, or generally on social media, that's down-to-earth yet inspiring and very pleasant to watch. Starting with the presentation, voice and the way Mr. Tischler talks about what he does, naturally, the artistic creativity and the painting/drawing itself, but also the fact He shows the stuff that are usually left unseen. I'd call it being ' realistically motivational '. That is hard to come by these days. Both thumbs up Sir, you are doing an amazing job. Thank you
Andrew…I’m so happy for you. You are such a great artist and such a wonderful teacher…not everyone can do both…but all that you do for sharing for others is so wonderful!
I am a carpenter and joiner, after looking at your new studio being set up, and the repairs to the roof and ceiling, the finished job looks spot on. Do want job Andrew in our decorating business ? Well Done, will keep following. Good luck.
Such a sweet video- love the dog hanging out in there with you. All the best to you, Rachel, the new bub and to your cute four-legged friends! Thank you for sharing a bit of your world with those of us who are so very inspired by your works. Your kind and cheerful personality is so lovely to see in this world full of troubles. Cheers Andrew!!! Donna Cockerham
I really had no idea how incredibly beautiful NZ is until following you, Andrew. Wow......as an artist you must be in candy land. Just breathtaking beauty all around. Thank you once again for your invaluable knowledge and sharing it with us. I always learn something new no matter how many times I re-watch your videos whether purchased (my personal preference) or here on RUclips. Come to Rumble soon, please!
It's been a while not seeing your videos, I did miss them but I'm back. Since I live with two family members, my studio took too much space in the house and I along with my painting gear were sent to the garage. My paintings still sit there awaiting on how I'm going to make a studio in there. After I saw what you did, in that space, I decided to follow suit. I'll need to modify my work bench and take advantage of that for more room and definitely get those track lights. My imagination made a floor plan. I have forgotten how you have inspired me before. I'm glad to be back and I love your new studio. Keep up the amazing work.
I love your new space Andrew, even if still a work in progress; noise is a killer even if you are protected from it by a building, but cold and noise are real inhibitors to working, so you have done the right thing. I am going through a similar experience and moving too, so I get how you have to adjust. But hey, we are creative right? So you will settle well and make your space work for you. Marlborough Sound looks stunning, What a setting for your work! Val Cansick
Andrew, you are by far my favorite Artist on RUclips. Your ability to teach and share your techniques in such an unpretentious manner is extremely refreshing. You’re SO talented and your ideas are brilliant! Would you be willing to share the design of the easel you have attached to your cleat wall? I purchased a Slatwall as I don’t have the abilities to build like you do. That said, it was a brilliant idea and works beautifully and cost less than 300.00 So I’m a happy camper. I find I get in uncomfortable positions trying to get close enough for detailed work, as I just attach the canvas or paper to the wall. It would be nice to have an easel, such as yours that extends out from the Wall so I can slide my chair closer to my project for detailed work. I’m now having neck issues from bad posture. Would love to have something built like your easel, I just don’t know how to explain it to the one building it.. hope you get this message. This is an older post.. not sure if you even see them anymore. Whatever happens.. you’re greatly appreciated 🙏🏻
You have achieved so much just looking at your paintings now . Great to share your journey from your folio . Thank you Andrew. Jose from Melbourne Australia
Hey Andrew. Ive been watching your amazingly helpful videos on youtube via sky so I havent been able to like your videos or subscribe so Ive just given you a ton of likes for all the videos Ive loved so much. Your paintings take my breath away theyre are so beautiful. ! Your skies are just stunningly real. I love the light you get into them. I just watched you copy a master this morning. I have also just started doing this and Ive learnt a lot I feel. Ive been doing some Ivan Aivazofsy copies of stunning seascapes and sunsets on water. My favourite. I want to thank you for your excellent videos which are full of character and fun and info. I wanted to be an artist from an early age and left school at 16 to do more art. My father told me to get a real job like a receptionist and I said kill me now ! I became a potter for ten years but my real passion is oil painting. I have an interior shop which doubles as a studio. This works great as I sell furniture whilst painting, and get feedback from displaying my paintings round the shop. I hope to retire to Westport in the next few months where I have a house but I live north of Auckland in Wellsford presently. The coastlines and farmland up here are stunning and I want to paint everything I see! I paint daily and started 6 months ago. You have filled in the blanks in my knowledge in so many areas from mediums to composition to marketing, brush techniques colour mixing, you are a genius and so generous with your extensive knowledge. Thankyou a million times for all of this. Im going to patreon now to subscribe Kindest regards Susan Speedy. Ps I love your signature. Mine look like a three year old did it. How do you do a great signature easily. ?
Hello Andrew! I always like to watch your videos, from where I always take your useful experience and apply it in my work. Of course, your previous studio was the best equipped of any other studios I have ever seen online, apart from, as you said, outside interference. And yet, as the best master of your craft, you have again created a beautiful and comfortable studio in a new place. This video of yours will help me and many artists as a guide when setting up their studio. I wish you Andrew high and fruitful creativity while continuing to create your masterpieces and family happiness in a new place.
you are extraordinary your extraordinary painting ability does not prevent you from doing work outside your profession; fix the ceiling of your room. really very out of the convent. I give you applause.
This could in my home Newfoundland. Spectacular! Oh and water leaks too as it rains! I feel ya. Great job on the repairs! Thank you Andrew for sharing!
Congratulations, Andrew! I especially appreciate how you stuck it in out in the cold and kept painting. I'm from Wisconsin, so I can appreciate how challenging it is to keep a studio space warm. This looks more like a home environment. Very nice!!
Hey Andrew, I like the more relaxed (in your voice) approach to your vids; that comes with confidence you've gained over your RUclips journey. The touches of humour make a difference, in that although painting can be frustrating and annoying at times, it's good to laugh at yourself and have some fun. Good luck with the new home/studio.
Andrew you are such a talented artist not just in painting but plastering, designing and organising. Excellent job you did ! And what an end product to your hard work. Congratulations on your new studio. Enjoy it
Samuel Earp is a master, and his Patreon page is fantastic. I joined both his and Andrew's this past week. These two guys are going to help me get over the block I'm experiencing right now. Thanks, Andrew!
Thanks for sharing with us Andrew. I’m sure you’ll enjoy this space more because you will be right there with your family. I did have a small bedroom as a studio until our son moved back in with us…lol. Now I paint in a corner of another bedroom. Hey…you just make it work right…lol. Good luck and will be looking forward to seeing more of your fabulous work!
I really enjoyed watching the studio take shape. I am getting ready to make a big cross country move (Hawaii to South Carolina) . I have been packing paintings , canvases, supplies and studio stuff for a couple of months trying to get ready. I am a little nervous about how my studio will be ,but watching this gave me a little less anxiety .
I am Telugu people from AP vizag I have seen your greatest Painting works I am so happy and learning . your working so beautiful . I am learning so many technical .thanking you sir .I am very small artist
Hi Andrew. Love watching your videos. Great to see somebody living their dream. Congrats on being a father if I heard that right in your video. I think you were on the right track when you started pulling your ceiling down. 💡Why not pull it all down and create a cathedral! You could also have a mezzanine at one end for storage😃
So many awesome moments in this video! Thx for sharing. I have a small space and want a bigger art studio but for now I gotta make it work. Your journey is an inspiration!

Everything is nearly framed, and I'm now in full-on prep mode for interiors. My art studio is being built above our three car garage and it is a total dream space! I will be utilizing your advice on lighting and hope to build a canvas wall as well. I'm a fellow oil painter, and your set up is inspiring and efficient to say the least! Were you able to move your taxidermy to the new studio? Thanks again for always sharing your wisdom and experiences!

Great video! Love how you converted bedroom into a studio. Lots of helpful tips there for the rest of us. It’ll be good for you working at home - warmer and endless cups of tea on tap, not to mention your toddler getting stuck into your oils !!😂 And your dog for company and inspirational thoughts!
Awesome location, great space! Haven’t been able to travel to NZ since Covid, and miss it! Just fixed my art space/ library in my windowless basement living room area. Must say its cozy and I feel inspired to paint here! My husband said he loves this arrangement and loves coming down to read.
Congrats Andrew!! I am so please for you buddy!! Someday I hope to build my very own custom studio (a am a sole proprietor contractor) looking forward to seeing how you’re able I utilize the new space!!
Great video Andrew! I really enjoyed seeing your new studio coming together. As usual, you gave me all kinds of new ideas. Keep up the great work. You have greatly encouraged this realist painter!

Yeah, I'll have to keep an eye on the kid when he starts crawling... he'll get up to no good for sure! haha!
You're an inspiration Mr. Tischler.. Best wishes for you always!
That was a cute video. Thanks for the smiles Andrew. You are soooooo inspirational.
You are so welcome. Thanks for sticking around. I appreciate it!
I know I've said it before and I am saying it again that you are my painting hero Andrew... 🙌🏼
I admire you a lot :)
Awesome location, great space! Haven’t been able to travel to NZ since Covid, and miss it! Just fixed my art space/ library in my windowless basement living room area. Must say its cozy and I feel inspired to paint here! My husband said he loves this arrangement and loves coming down to read.
Congratulations sir.
