That’s unkind. She brings so much to the table. Everyone was happy with her except for Baldoni. Seems like he’s the one , first time director, with the attitude. Blake is a brilliant Actor with many movies under her belt, unlike him.
The movie was a disappointment . All they did was market it as a romcom instead of focusing on the DV issue . If Blake thought this was her breakthrough in directing , she should get a different career . As a woman she should use her platform to touch on the DV issue during the press conferences . The only one who did that was Justin. If he would have been allowed to do his job i have a feeling the movie would have been a lot better with a strong message
Supposedly she felt fat shamed by Baldoni because he has to pick her up in the movie and he asked his onset trainer how much weight is safe for his back, which he has problems with. I think Blake took it from a vapid place not taking the subject seriously or the situations this might bring up if this was market at a romcom which in fact it isn’t … it’s vapid and shallow Blake seems like she didn’t read the book or boooooks about the subject matter WHILE the director has spent every minute press tour bringing up DV and also mentioning organizations that helped / can help is very telling . Blake pushing for her friend’s songs to be in the movie that seem deemed very important for the subject matter WHILE Justin had literal org helping with the tense subject matter says it all Blake showed her true colors and with this bad roll out I hope their isn’t a second not because the book shouldn’t get it but because if it’s not respecting the people with DV in the first place Blake shouldn’t direct it Also it’s obvious the director read the book and cared for it which is sad because it seems he loved it more than the “writer” and Blake . This also affecting the writer because now it’s coming up again about her ghost writer and how inappropriate it was her maybe taking stories from previous clients when she was a social worker … Wild also shows how books to movies marketing only cares about one thing and subject / respect is not that !
The biggest thing i got about this book was DV. DV is the main theme. She’s not commenting on any of that. Just the love story? It’s not a rom-com 🤦🏾♀️
I think the whole feud is about Blake being taken back by her chemistry and interest in Justin, their chemistry and scenes and maybe Ryan feeling threatened by that and Blake taking out her fear and sadness on Justin.
This is just a made up feud to get people pulled into watching it. I just watched an old interview with Blake and Parker Posie and was so grossed out by their treatment of the interviewer. Not a fan.

First of all she got it all wrong. Yes atlas did shape a part of who she was, but she wouldn’t leave her husband for him because she meant her vows to him 1,000%. His beating her and her not wanting to her daughter to witness what she went through herself is what drove them apart. She is totally missing the point of the book. It’s a love story between the mother and daughter and that she loves her daughter enough to not let her go through what she went through. I’m pretty sure that if she didn’t get pregnant she still wouldn’t have left him. That is why the book is called ‘IT ENDS WITH US’ lily and her daughter and not with some other man. She is so wrong for this.
I read that she didn't read the book. Does anyone know for sure where I could find this? Also it sounds like she took over the movie completely and shoved her idea of what it should be over Justin
Why did she squeeze into a dress that clearly doesn't fit her? She could have worn anything she wanted. It feels like a staged attempt to distract from the film.
To be honest it sound like Justin need her funding for the film becuase i feel like if it was any other "actor" they would have been fired and replaced but becuase she is executive producer and her husband is also well known they bullyed there way of getting what they wanted. Maybe it was also difficult for him to switch rapidly between his character and himself just because he said "cut."
