the taunter is pretty useful for breaking open large amounts of crates quickly and grabs the bolts while doing so (works even better when paired with the bolt grabber), people don't often realise this is a thing or don't realise how much time this saves compared to tediously smashing open crates with the wrench. the decoy glove on it's own is fairly worthless but paired with the tesla claw you can use it to take down groups of enemies pretty quickly since the electricity will bounce off the decoy glove into multiple enemies.
@@ghost_undead you can also use it to complete the quartu robot factory without the disguise since it can bounce off through walls, its a super useful trick
I love using the taunter to make enemies run into electric barriers. Especially the annoying crabs on Orxon. The decoy glove has definitely saved me once or twice, namely against the turret guards on Gemlik Base.
Personally my favorite is easily the suck cannon! Versatile, has mid to long-ish range (with good aim) and great damage! Great video, I feel like R&C isn’t covered enough on youtube with this type of content!
I think The developers agree with you and the bomb glove i think, which is why the blasters become the first weapon of the franchise, as well as a lot of them being reworked entirely.
The game literally says double tap r1 and hold l2 and r2 to strafe left and right while the jetpack is equipped but still not as good strafe as other games
*Wall of text alert* Worst-5: the ones you absolutely don't need to get through the game, like *never* need them. I just use them to get some spice in my playthrough: Doom Glove, Mine Glove, Taunter (is that even a weapon? I only buy it for the Orxon skillpoint and the Veldin gold bolt), Decoy Glove, Morph-o-Ray The only difference here with your list is Bomb/Doom. I'm going with Doom for the Worst-5 because Bomb Glove is completely free, its bombs are also pretty cheap, and it's pretty useful early on. Can still be midgame and late game, but it's just outclassed. The Doom Glove always felt kinda clunky and slow to me, those robots cannot even get up a little cliff (Eudora flashbacks right?), you have only 10 orbs and you can only have max.8 of them deployed. It's totally not worth the investment, you better keep those bolts and get the Devastator earlier. (yeah, Decoy is here because I specifically didn't consider speedrunning purposes like clipping through walls and stuff) Mid tier: Drones, Walloper, Pyrocitor, Blaster, Bomb Glove Limited and niche usage, there are better options, but still useful. Drones are rarely worth the investment, Bomb and Pyrocitor are really good early on but they just get outclassed. Walloper is nic(h)e, it can oneshot those seeking bombs in Gaspar and other stuff. Blaster meh, yeah it's good but it cannot let you plow through the game just like top tier weapon can. SuckCannon-tier: Suck Cannon. Actually good, better than mid-5 weapons, excellent crowd control weapon. Absolutely recommended for Pokitaru Top-5 (I guess 4?): the most broken ones you can easily cheese the game with: RYNO, Tesla Claw (Gold-upgraded variant is definitely OP), Devastator, Visbomb (not really needed and unique, using Devastator is really cheaper, it just allows safer plays when defeating enemies (Kalebo, Veldin 2, Robot Guards in Quartu, Gemlik) I definitely recommend postponing any purchase after getting the Persuader and some extra Nanotech. Devastator and Tesla Claw are pretty much the only ones to be aquired asap, but you should already have the 30k and the Persuader once you get to Oltanis
Good list. The Visibomb will always be my #1, maybe in the entire series. It might as well be a cheat code. The fact that you have the freedom to use it for exploring is icing on the cake. I also noticed that when you get a cluster of those obnoxious little bomb enemies on Gasper and Kalebo III around you, you can simply shoot and detonate the missile right away to solve your pesky problem.😊

decoy glove to get to the bolt farm early. use the hologuize at the girl to get to the bolt farm easier but later on. at least at the racetracks bolt farm the taunter serves another purpose.
I disagree with you on the tesla claw personally. it does crazy low DPS against everything except small enemies that you can kill instantly with the pyrocitor anyway, unless you get the gold tesla claw. once you get the gold tesla claw that changes completely (the gold tesla claw I believe actually does more DPS than even the RYNO) but the standard one doesn't do enough damage to be useful, especially not for the price.
Decoy glove shoulda at least been mid tier due to glitch potentials and more replay value. You've missed out on a lot of additional gameplay experimentation if you've never used it to clip a wall. Side note to ratchet and clank going commando, you haven't fully experienced that game unless your done the climb up walls glitch in first person. I will fight you on this.
Great video badman! also for the mineglove you had a good point but it can take out the final soldiers first hit on veldins final level which made it very helpful for me in the game.

yeah truthfully after releasing the video I think taunter and decoy should have swapped, I think while writing the script taunter just worked better after mine glove while writing.

yeah, I started working on destiny related content but then after making a few videos I realized I just enjoyed playing the game more then making content on it. I thought since I loved playing the game I would love making videos on it but I was wrong. Went back and unlisted the destiny stuff I did and went back to doing the platformer stuff since I enjoyed that more.

Didn't even know you can make enemies come near you with the tounter. I still always used it, because breaking boxes was just fun.

I wouldn't say that the armoogeddon is petty nasty in the right hands.
the morph guns in RAC 1 and 2 are garbage, true, but the RAC 3 morph gun is actually really good. the biggest issue with it is that it kills your FPS
