Ay thanks! So my stereo has two different Tape Monitor outputs, I run an RCA cable out of there and then into a Scarlet Focusrite 2i4. Don't know if you need a 2i4 exactly, but you need an interface with two inputs you can use as once. Also I have to use RCA/1/4" adapters, which you can get on monoprice if you don't have them. I edit all of it in Audacity, but really the only editing I do is making sure the channels are equal volume and then making it as loud as possible without clipping (and then exporting it as mp3s but that's just for me). My record player is an atlp-120, which is fine to use and i wouldn't wanna use anything in less quality than that. Also my tape deck is ass and I need a new one before i start doing more tape rips lmao
