These are definitely the same 4track takes as on the 12" EP. Though it sounds like the tape speed is slightly different. And perhaps someone rolled off all the highs so that it doesn't sound as harsh? The last song is entirely new to me, though. Thanks for posting. Where did you get these?

This version of "Tu Scendi dalle Stelle" takes me back to my childhood and to the many cherished memories of Christmases spent with beloved family members long gone. Thank-you so much for posting this.

My Mum had this when I was little. I can remember hearing it in my earliest memories. I was probably no more than four or five years old the first I can remember hearing these songs/interview clips. The last I remember seeing this was in about the mid to late 70s, so I would've probably been around nine to 11 years old. For all I know, she probably still has it. She may or may not have a turntable to play it on, but hopefully she kept it anyway. Given her 100% Irish heritage, she would have probably hung on to it just out of pure spite, contempt, and loathing of the Crown. 🤣 I know I would have!

I have the CD somewhere. Ill have to look for it. I might have burned it on an old hard drive too. It fucking rocks. I loved Economist, and Yukon. Double Dagger back then was a little meh but it seems like they changed directions

I really wish John Atkins would reform 764-HERO, put out an album or two or three (lol, hehe), go out and tour with Modest Mouse (or somebody) just like old times when they were both label mates on the very beautiful and very defunct "Up records", and re-release everything they did with additional material for each release (outtakes, demos, covers, live tracks, and even whole entire live shows). Just like what Codeine did in 2012 with everything they released before they broke up in 1994. A lot of 1990's bands are doing that these days and I absolutely love it. Please get back together and do something while all original members are still alive... From Jeremiah Green's recent death from cancer to Sam Jayne's death from heart failure, times uh ticking away and I know that talented guy has more to offer musically and at the very least re release everything with bonus material, because I know it exists. I hope that puts a fire under his ass to get 764-HERO back together while they still can, before its too late and no longer possible. Polly Johnson and James Bertram are both very much still alive and both very much kicking... John Atkins, if you read this, (which is a very real possibility people.. He's not that unapproachable.. We both live in the same state and this is RUclips I'm posting this onto..) Please take what I said here to heart and give it a thought, at least. Your very few secret reunion shows and the very short three day Japan tour were complete teases and totally unfair to us real true blue fans of your music who absolutely love you. Since high school, 764-HERO is a band I still listen to almost daily as compared to others that I just do not. 764-HERO will always be one of my absolute favorite bands that I will never get tired of listening too or ever get sick of. Right up there with Nirvana, Pixies, The Breeders, Modest Mouse, Love As Laughter, Codeine, Duster, Built To Spill, Hole (just everything before Kurt's death and nothing afterwards.. Celebrity Skin was complete garbage and the same with Nobody's Daughter and as well as her solo career as well.. But before all that crap, absolute and complete gold in my opinion. Listen to albums "Live Through This" and "Pretty On The Inside", along with the "Beautiful Son" ep, amd the "Dicknail" and "Retard Girl" singles, to find out why Kurt Cobain loved Courtney Love. She was something special at one time, at least.), Elliott Smith, Polvo, Red Stars Theory, Unwound, Shiner, Shudder To Think, Babes In Toyland, Alice In Chains, Lync, I mean the list goes on and on and on... I have a very huge and very extensive music collection, both in real life and inside my head, lol, and 764-HERO along with Modest Mouse and Built To Spill all three lead the way in terms of what I still love and still listen to, to this day, since my high school days.
