Savage, picking up on all your little techniques, my first helmet the seams were very visible, but seeing how you do the top edge first, brilliant! Keep it going ted! And thanks 👍👍
Definitely awesome as always! I like they are bigger and longer than the old patterns so now we have even more choices to modify to our own uses. Thank you, Evil Ted! You are the maker god!
I'm trying to do the belly of a dragon for my armor, and I didn't know how to get the detail in there without it looking too bulky. After seeing how you did the males set, my jaw dropped and I screamed That's It! You truly are amazing.
Ohh interesting. I'm really glad I watched this video! I'm currently working on a new set of armor and I was looking for a way to "push out" the chest piece a little bit, because it's currently flat. So thanks!
I have a question. It looks like you took the Exacto and cut a single line but in later shots it looks much wider. How did you make it so wide? Did you use the heat gun to expand it? As always thanks!
Hello Ted, thanks for this video I just purchase the Vampire Hunter D and these patterns. Your work is fantastic and the video will help me build my first suit.
What is the best suggested Storage box for armors if you wanted to make them, store them after making them and then wanting to bring them along the road?... etc.. space is a great thing to consider for all of this.
What chest sizes are the Small/Medium/large patterns meant for? Love the channel, just finishing using the Vampire Hunter armour and standard helmet to make a Spartan warrior costume. May have to use this armour instead!!
How do you plan for getting the armor off/on. I noticed the male armor side seam wasn't glued. is the plan for straps, velcro, laces, or what? What have you found to be the best way of providing for the dressing of close fitting foam armor?
Came across this just now :) very helpful! I'm gonna make a cosplay of my custom character from dc universe online and I needed to make muscle patterns because the dcuo characters are absolutely ripped lol
@@EvilTedSmith it honestly might be me lol I took them opened with Adobe setting to scale 100%or on a different setting poster size. . It did print out on multiple pages but I'm still confused on how to adjust for a bigger person or what I have to set it to scale it bigger or smaller . For example your Male breast plate. Say you are a 4'11 vs someone who is 5'7 what an how would I print the patterns to fit both? I'm looking thru your videos for answers lol. Incase it was already addressed somewhere.
Would the male armour in this video match the helmet from your For Honour medieval knight helmet? I wanted to make a full suit of armour for a cosplay (not actual LARP or reinactment) and was wondering if all these armour pieces would match cohesively if I paint them all the same colour, etc.
All the patterns are compatible. Once you add your detail you can paint them and make them look like anything you want. It is the freedom of working with foam. You can make anything out of it.
Is there a way to get the male armor templates in a size 3XL? I'm a bit of a bigger guy and I can't really find patterns online that are big enough for a guy with a 54 inch chest and 52 inch waist.
So, I bought the new female armor pattern and the small size template is missing a a piece on page 3. Tried to modify the medium but that didn't work for me. I did try contacting through the website - twice. Really wanted to use this for a Baroness breastplate but ended up Franken-foamning parts of other armor patterns I had.
Hello, I am thinking about buying the female armor, I tried to buy a certain size. But I couldn’t figure out how to. Does it just come with all 3 sizes? Thank you
I love your patterns so I bought the female armor and there seems to be an error in the file. I thought I lost a page to I checked the file and it was the same. I got the printer pattern in small. there are 3 inconsistencies connected to sheet 2 which confused me. 1. Although all the other pieces are labeled small breast piece 3 on sheet 2 is labeled medium. 2. The segment of Back piece 1 on sheet 3 is dotted with line 2 the other line 2 is on sheet 2 but it does not cross any pieces just a couple cut off words. This leaves back piece 1 incomplete. 1. Similarly, there is an unlabelled segment of a piece on page 5 where lines 3 and 5 meet. It is the only piece on line 3 line and the other 3 is on sheet 2 and does not cross any pattern pieces. I believe the mystery segment might connect to the bottom of back piece 1 on however this join would entirely cover the join on line 4 and still leaves back piece one without its outer edge. Additionally, the outlines of the pieces shown over the image of the complete armor on the cover sheet are the pieces for the male armor. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Just about to order the pdf download, what is the grey glue / cement you use ?
Do we need to do the muscles? I don't need my armor hove pecs or abs.
