For the large majority of you that think I'm doing *two* kpop videos for the money, I demonetized both of them because I don't give a flying fuck how much money comes out of my opiniated videos. I'm fascinated by how much it still offends people when RUclipsrs make money off of the videos they post. Is this still news?
I agree that a lot of the music styles in K-pop and pop are similiar but the reason why a lot of stans are saying JB, 1D, and T-Swift are trash is because a lot of their songs aren't their "style" or they can't relate to the lyrics and whatnot and if you look up some famous K-pop lyrics and look at their English translations, songs like "The Last" and "Young Forever" are much more relatable. This is just my opinion, you can keep liking whatever but I'm not tryna bash any American artists. And as a K-pop fan/idk if I'm a stan (i still love western pop), when you said, "In the end K-pop is just music, not gonna lie, it's kinda true but I feel like it's just the Koreaboos who think it's so much better because they want Oppa to accept their sarang or some shit.

I think a lot of these obsessive Kpop fans have ruined the reputation of the Kpop fanbase. I really hate it, if i tell someone I like Kpop they look at me and go 'oh you're that type of person.' It really sucks, but I mean every musical artist probably have fans like this. (aka the fan girl)

Shipping real life people with their friends is very disrespectful to them. I couldn't imagine how disgusted and uncomfortable they would feel reading such inappropriate comments," on an Instagram post. I'm glad I have finally found someone else who feels this way. It seems to be a rather unpopular opinion to the majority of k-pop fans. These artists deserve better respect for the hard work they put into their music, etc, but instead they representatives, their fanbase, just end up ruining their reputation little by little.
Finally, I found someone that shares the same opinion. When I tell someone I like Kpop, they automatically think I"m an obsessive fangirl. On most kpop videos I see disgusting comments about the idols , :( they don"t deserve that. One time I tried to voice my opinion to an obsessive fan politely, and she went off calling me a bitch.

Zen Person It's a thing in Korea mainly. Idols or celebrities aren't allowed to date to keep a "pure" image or not upset fans (this works with male and female idols btw). So usually (not always) rules are placed by the company on the idol that they shouldn't date but some idols do. When an idol dates it ruins their reputation and image in Korea a lot. That's why most idols keep it secretive if they can date. When some international fans get into kpop they realize this is how the culture works and decide to feed into it.. and that's where the craziness starts. A lot of idols are marketed in a way where they're available and flirtatious with the fans.. so that just adds fuel to the fire.

As a person who enjoys Kpop, I think the fandoms are fucking cancer. Everyone I've met who listens to Kpop and watches k-dramas make it seem like their religion. Someone I go to school with is literally learning Korean just because she listens to Kpop and watches k-dramas. When I was talking to the same person and mentioned that I listened to a popular BTS song, she said the song was "so basic" and she called me a "fake fan" even though that was the first Kpop song I've ever listened to, so I wasn't a "fan" at all during the time. All the Kpop fans I know constantly spam snapchat and Instagram with shit about their favorite groups and its so annoying because it seems like they're trying to get more people to listen to Kpop, but if you do they'll call you a "fake fan" and reject you. So thats why I keep the liking I have of Kpop to myself, so stans don't fucking murder me. EDIT: What I meant when I said people make it seem like Kpop and k-drama are their religion, I meant their obsession with seem slightly unhealthy, but thats just my opinion. Please don't get butt hurt over my opinion because this is just what I've picked up by talking to Kpop and k-drama fans and by talking to other people who know Kpop and k-drama stans. ive posted snacphat stories with kpop before, ive posted happy birthday to kpop idols, like recently pristin roa, and on my ig i did to tiffany. and thats like all ive done. and ive posted songs, like whenever one of my favs groups has came back ive posted it on my sc. but i dont like spamming it to much. soo yah. and 2nd of all, why does every kpop stan like kdramas? i listen to kpop, but kdramas have never been my thing. ive watched some, and ive never finished it, the farthest ive been into one was 6 episodes, in a 12 show series, also known as missing 9. i do like watching survival show with my friends, like produce 101 and idol school tho . :)

In my school theres a group of 20 girls who are OBSESSED with kpop to the point that they legit hunt the asians in our school.Every time they discover a korean, they fkn freak out and ask them to say some korean words.Ik this because they are always putting fucking music in a spot outside and dancing (really badly btw) to kpop and everyone is just fkn tired of them. Some of them are in my art classes and ye sadly we have a huge tv with speakers to put music on while working on our individual projects. Now guess who is always fkn putting kpop? 3-5 girl. The teacher had to ask them to stfu a bit because they kept getting so fucking rxcited when they putted a song on, like it wasnt cutely excited, it was starting to sing loudly and mispronounce all the words, dancing everywhere and then proceed to say,, and i quote " omfggg not again some cringy mainstream radio music" (mostly pop) and im like dude thats the exact same kind of music but in english just FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU we are going to turn 17-18 thats the sad part, their 10-14 time for a phase is gone. And I just don't find the appeal in k-pop (I acknowledge the work and efford put into it, its really amazing, but it just sounds too 'clean' for me). So on one Panic! At The Disco video I was scrolling through the comments and I literally saw "ANY ARMYS?!!!1!" comment. And I got kinda mad. But instead of lashing out I wrote some things about how not all people like k-pop and its really childish to go to videos which have absolutely NO correlation to k-pop and kinda disrespecting the artist by writing stuff like that. And I was pretty chill about it too. But then I literally got like 20 of these stans bashing me and telling me to actually kill myself JUST because I don't like k-pop and listen to mainstream garbage (which I really don't). Professional fandom trash ; I totally get it! It seems as though k-pop fandoms are relatively the same as any other mainstream artist, but in reality, they have THOUSANDS. When I mean thousands, I mean hundreds of people in countries all over the world having twitter, instagram, etc. accounts just for a group. Some fans discovered a comment I made ages ago when I first joined ARMY (3 years ago) from Boy in Luv, where I said I was confused by a certain part, and then like a few months ago ARMYs suddenly spammed my notifications threatening me, and insulting me, and saying that I probably left the fandom, and only joined for attention, when it was 3 years ago, where there wasn't many ARMYs, and I haven't left the fandom at all. It wasn't a rude point, it was just a misunderstanding I had when I joined the fandom. When I pointed out it was 3 years ago, a childish fan replied 'Just because you've been in the fandom longer, doesn't mean you fucking deserve BTS...' I would agree if I had said anything wrong, but I seriously hadn't said I was an older ARMY, I just said that it was a long time ago, when I misinterpreted the song.

One of the things people hate about army is that they bring bts to literally everywhere. Like this video said, in a video completely not related to kpop or bts, they flooded the comment with bts and it's just annoying. One of the main factor is that people used profile pictures or names of a kpop idol or their features. I agree that a lot of the music styles in K-pop and pop are similiar but the reason why a lot of stans are saying JB, 1D, and T-Swift are trash is because a lot of their songs aren't their "style" or they can't relate to the lyrics and whatnot and if you look up some famous K-pop lyrics and look at their English translations, songs like "The Last" and "Young Forever" are much more relatable. Zen Person It's a thing in Korea mainly. Idols or celebrities aren't allowed to date to keep a "pure" image or not upset fans (this works with male and female idols btw). So usually (not always) rules are placed by the company on the idol that they shouldn't date but some idols do. When an idol dates it ruins their reputation and image in Korea a lot. That's why most idols keep it secretive if they can date. When some international fans get into kpop they realize this is how the culture works and decide to feed into it.. and that's where the craziness starts. A lot of idols are marketed in a way where they're available and flirtatious with the fans.. so that just adds fuel to the fire.

As a person who enjoys Kpop, I think the fandoms are fucking cancer. Everyone I've met who listens to Kpop and watches k-dramas make it seem like their religion. Someone I go to school with is literally learning Korean just because she listens to Kpop and watches k-dramas. When I was talking to the same person and mentioned that I listened to a popular BTS song, she said the song was "so basic" and she called me a "fake fan" even though that was the first Kpop song I've ever listened to, so I wasn't a "fan" at all during the time. All the Kpop fans I know constantly spam snapchat and Instagram with shit about their favorite groups and its so annoying because it seems like they're trying to get more people to listen to Kpop, but if you do they'll call you a "fake fan" and reject you. So thats why I keep the liking I have of Kpop to myself, so stans don't fucking murder me.
EDIT: What I meant when I said people make it seem like Kpop and k-drama are their religion, I meant their obsession with seem slightly unhealthy, but thats just my opinion. Please don't get butt hurt over my opinion because this is just what I've picked up by talking to Kpop and k-drama fans and by talking to other people who know Kpop and k-drama stans. In my school theres a group of 20 girls who are OBSESSED with kpop to the point that they legit hunt the asians in our school.Every time they discover a korean, they fkn freak out and ask them to say some korean words.Ik this because they are always putting fucking music in a spot outside and dancing (really badly btw) to kpop and everyone is just fkn tired of them. Some of them are in my art classes and ye sadly we have a huge tv with speakers to put music on while working on our individual projects. Now guess who is always fkn putting kpop? 3-5 girl. I respect your opinion 100%. I, myself, am a huge k-pop fan and I HATE it when people go overboard. I literally feel like I can't even make a joke inside my own fandom without someone saying I'm wrong or rude.

And I just don't find the appeal in k-pop (I acknowledge the work and efford put into it, its really amazing, but it just sounds too 'clean' for me). So on one Panic! At The Disco video I was scrolling through the comments and I literally saw "ANY ARMYS?!!!1!" comment. And I got kinda mad. But instead of lashing out I wrote some things about how not all people like k-pop and its really childish to go to videos which have absolutely NO correlation to k-pop and kinda disrespecting the artist by writing stuff like that. And I was pretty chill about it too. But then I literally got like 20 of these stans bashing me and telling me to actually kill myself JUST because I don't like k-pop and listen to mainstream garbage (which I really don't). So yeah, when that many people are bashing you for not liking k-pop, it gets really hard to respect and not generalize them.

Professional fandom trash ; I totally get it! It seems as though k-pop fandoms are relatively the same as any other mainstream artist, but in reality, they have THOUSANDS.
When I mean thousands, I mean hundreds of people in countries all over the world having twitter, instagram, etc. accounts just for a group. Not saying that it's better, BUT, it has a HUGE impact on the outsiders view of the whole fandom in general.
Since there are many of us, there will always have to be childish and rude ones. And since it's a much more bigger group, it can be overwhelming and just annoying to meet an insane k-pop stan.

Some fans discovered a comment I made ages ago when I first joined ARMY (3 years ago) from Boy in Luv, where I said I was confused by a certain part, and then like a few months ago ARMYs suddenly spammed my notifications threatening me, and insulting me, and saying that I probably left the fandom, and only joined for attention, when it was 3 years ago, where there wasn't many ARMYs, and I haven't left the fandom at all. It wasn't a rude point, it was just a misunderstanding I had when I joined the fandom. When I pointed out it was 3 years ago, a childish fan replied 'Just because you've been in the fandom longer, doesn't mean you fucking deserve BTS...' I would agree if I had said anything wrong, but I seriously hadn't said I was an older ARMY, I just said that it was a long time ago, when I misinterpreted the song.

I have been in the Kpop fandom for a few years (2-3) and most of the fans are okay but I'm so done with the fans that decide it's a good idea to start fandom wars and call idols fat or tell idols they can't sing. As a kpop fan myself, i love kpop and i have friends who love kpop and i get if some people don't like kpop, everyone can like their own stuff. Once, my friend asked someone if they liked kpop. They politely told my friend "No" and she ranted about it to me for a whole 5 hours. It was annoying. Then she told me that she'll do anything for bts and she'll stalk them if she has too. Now, i got her into kpop and i completely regret it. I unfriended her and blocked her on all my social medias and moved schools. She was comepletely psycho for kpop. Especially bts. One of the things people hate about army is that they bring bts to literally everywhere. Like this video said, in a video completely not related to kpop or bts, they flooded the comment with bts and it's just annoying. One of the main factor is that people used profile pictures or names of a kpop idol or their features. For example, I saw someone's named "luhan's nipples" or "jimin butt crack" and honestly it's just disturbing. And so other people in the same fandom will come and be like "OmG are you an army too my ig is @ajxbuejs add me !!1!1!!"
