I was a little concerned when that green started going on but after it dried, the color actually turned out beautiful. Love the top, love the hardware upgrade, and love the legs. Nice job!
I love the transformation. The handles on the drawers are also awesome! I wasn't sure at first about the top finish, but wow, you nailed it. Thank you for all the inspiration!
WoW! What a transformation!! I LOVE the green color with the brushed brass. Those adjustable handle/pulls are a GAME CHANGER!! Thanks for all the great tips!! :)
Wonderful choices on your finishes. I can see why you like using those colors, since the new version is unrecognizable from the "before" pic. Great job!
You both have steadily devrloped, grown and the finishes are well designed. And you are the best teacher. So optimistic, too. you give Texas such good promo. Stay well, all
I absolutely love the finished product. I have two questions. What is the turntable that you put your drawers on to paint? Also I noticed when you are spraying the dresser overspray goes inside. Do you clean that up or do you just leave it. You’re one of my favourite flippers.
The after is unrecognizable. I love it! I just picked up some nightstands this morning and am going to keep in mind what you say about the two tone with paint wash on top. Thanks for the tip.
Hello found your Chanel and love your work. I have a question about the over spray inside the dresser cabinets. Is this not a concern for customers that the over spray is inside the cabinet area even though you may not see it when you put in the drawers? Thank you for your vids. I have subscribed.
Interesting flip....cool to learn what finishes are trending in different parts of the country. My first thought when seeing the outdated drawer pulls was to perhaps verify to see if they're actually solid brass...sometimes the older quality stuff like this dresser had hardware which was the 'real deal' as opposed to being merely plated. :) They could be given a new life in their natural state for some "Old World" type of decor setting. Just a thought. :) Always enjoy your videos, thanks for posting.
I have been dying to try paint wash. I just painted the bottom of a side table with a pretty green and when I watched this I said, "Maybe I should try it now". I didn't sand this table so I am not sure how it will do. But I can always go back and put green paint on it if it doesn't look right. Thanks for the inspiration you give. I am in Denison and can't those kind of prices.
Hmmmm. I have those feet and an American Drew cherry wood dresser with the scroll feet. I have not been able to figure out how and where to use those feet. But now I see. The Cherry will not stain light as that maple. So I will have to figure something out. Thank you for the great idea(s). Furniture is moving very slow here in the PNW.
Nice job moderninzing the dresser! I was wondering what is your favorite all in one paint? I have considered using the Dixie Belle all in one as well as the Fusion brand. Is there another choie you prefer. ? Thanks again for the makeover!
I have a question I’m hoping you can answer. I am refinishing an oak end table in the same style as this gorgeous dresser. I used a gray color wash on the bare wood top. But I’m having trouble getting the finish to come out even. I have darker and lighter patches. I did half the surface at a time, then wiped it back as evenly as possible. Do you have any tips or tricks for this?
Do you find that people don’t care about the spray getting inside the dresser? I think I’d turn on my heel and not buy it. And I am not trying to be snarky. I simply would worry that it would make the drawers hard to open especially on a hot day in Texas. Do you find that it’s an issue with any buyers? How hard is it to protect the inside? Is it really that hard? I don’t flip furniture so I honestly don’t know. Thank you! It is absolutely beautiful by the way!
No never had a comment about it. You have to paint the insides atleast a little bit or else the lip on the sides and bottom of drawers are a different color.
This is so weird that you just put out the video. Because I just picked up the same dresser but larger yesterday mine has 14 drawers. It’s a monster. But it’s even funnier is I also ordered the same legs off Amazon before watching this video. I guess great minds think alike
Very very pretty I love the color. But I don’t like the top my personal opinion it looks splotchy. I don’t know if it was the variation of wood color but I just was not living the top. But the bottom and legs turned out beautiful.
Love this , I am needing some advise on a project thats not furniture. Since tou are a goddess of wood preservation I thought I would ask you first. Is there a private way to contact thru an email or something thas not personal but wb a private conversation? Thanks, Becca

I love the green. Always have but I’m not a fan of the paintwash. I like a darker stain.

You do great work!

@@LemonstoLemonadeFurniture my customer does. :p I would have lied to keep it though
It turned out beautifully, but you really lost me on all the over spray inside the dresser. 😢
No one sees it and if you leave it undone you will see the wood in between the place where the drawer meets it
