She literally gets trained by people to answer things a certain way lol. It’s all about creating a certain image

I love the fact that how much love Sabyasachi have for his country and for his work.
Wow, Sabyasachi pleasantly surprised me for sure. He's so smart and well-spoken, really admire him. Deepika however, mostly missed the questions and was not to the point with her answers where many of them were vague and not well thought.

I’m sorry but I just don’t feel Deepika ever brings anything substantial or unheard or original to any conversation. This was yet another example of that. She’s no doubt talented at her job, but as a result of that, gets all these platforms for all kinds of subjects where she comes out with nothing intelligent or pragmatic. Sabyasachi, on the other hand was great to listen to!

She’s so boring! I think 30secs into the question she forgets what the question was and carries on talking for 45mins about everything unrelated. Sabyasachi on the other hand is focused and informative. You can tell he thinks before he talks, not while he’s talking like Deepika.

Plz give a break to her "depression story". These days almost everyone has his low days/depressing days. I don't understand why people are so overwhelmed over deepika padukone's depression story. Atleast she had money to talk to right people and get over. Many cannot even afford these super expensive psychiatrists in big cities.
Having low days here and there is different from HAVING depression. Are you trying to undermine what she went through?? She said she got clinically diagnosed so that means it wasn’t just having a rough day here and there from time to time. You don’t have to go to a fancy therapist in a metropolitan city just because that’s what celebrities do. There are plenty of affordable therapists that are more accessible if you just look around. There’s too much of a stigma within middle class societies to even acknowledge that they have depression, that it’s an actual mental illness, let alone take it a step further and look into talking to a professional. That’s the problem.
It’s because, famous people alys portray like their life is perfect and it requires extra courage to be vulnerable and need to be prepared for any consequences. Exposing oneself to be judged and commented takes thousand thoughts and depression is common but rarely anyone admits. She was brave to educate and she has the power to do so. So I plead if you can’t encourage atleast don’t discourage cuz I think you are obstructing such a greater good.
I agree.. Her depression story also breaks our heart, she's fought her battle well and we all know it already but it's annoying at times because she keeps on talking about it just everywhere she goes.

Used to be a huge fan of DP, but the more I listen to her talk the less likable I find her. Stringing a bunch of big words together with 'sort of' while giving irrelevant responses doesn't cut it for 'global influencer' representing new India. Her attempt at pseudo nationalism by taking a dig at PC, saying she always knew she'll live in India and get married to an Indian is conceited, petty and frankly off putting. I'm no big fan of PC, but have a huge amount of respect for her journey and achievements.DP's not a patch on the likes of AishwaryaRB & PC, who're as intelligent and sharp as they're beautiful. All of DP's poise and grace seem cosmetic and superficial at this point.

Indian girls are so into weddings because we are told that it’s what we are born to do, that we belong to the husband ..Kanyadaan concept!.... For the girls It’s like the culmination of everything.. finally serving ‘the purpose’....... now some of you may argue that no we’re all modern and now that line of thought is no more prevalent but! My friends if not out direct family, the extended family, neighbors and media -Bollywood has been serving this bullshit and we do subconsciously imbibe or hold on to that idea
