I bought mine in April 2020 right before the pandemic - with the loader and backhoe. It's been a great little tractor for me too. I especially feel great at the price I paid then versus what they cost now.
Yes we bought it at the perfect time! Thanks for the comment, subscribe and keep watching ! Take care.
If you don't mind me asking how much was retail price in 2020? I'm considering a 1025r or 2025r
My 2025R with loader and backhoe was just under $25K in April 2020. The same today is $38K. @@chrisreibold1634
I have a 1025r. That tractor is the right size for my property. I get alot of work done with this tractor. I appreciate your video on the John deere tractor.
Thanks. Keep watching
I have a 2021 2025R cab tractor and love it. The 2025R is the biggest cab tractor that you can still fit in a standard size garage 7 ft door. The 2025R doesn't get enough attention as it should!
Most days I wish I would have a cab! I’m sure that’s really nice to have! Thanks for watching! Check out my other 2025r videos!
i bought a 2023 with the loader/backhoe and belly mower in December. I am loving it, the only thing I have added on was the BX blade to rip out stumps. My stepfather has a kubota and I almost bought one of those but the JD wasn't much more and they had a 7 year interest free financing deal going on vs Kubota's 5 year, made it a littler easier to justify the cost. I only have 25 hours on it but so far so good, I have only taken the backhoe and loader off once, both was easy to take off, the loader was easy to put back on but the backhoe took a bit to line up but it was also getting dark and hard to see, hopefully it goes on a lot easier next time. I don't have much experience on the Kubota but I will say I like the JD better, especially the reverse pedal, the Kubota had a nicer quick disconnect but the 2023 2025R has the same setup with the front loader quick disconnect.
Glad you added the info about the trailer, I was wondering if a 16ft would be big enough, I was thinking it would be but wasn't 100% sure, now I know I don't have to spend money on a 20.
I still have troubles putting the backhoe on from time to time. I love the tractor, glad you are enjoying yours ! Yes get yourself a 16’ trailer !
Great video. I did the same thing with the mower deck. Used it a few times and then switched to zero turn
Thank you. Check out my other videos!
Great video that went beyond a simple opinion based on either minimal hours of use or just a couple of attachments. What we see here in this video is various forms of actual real-life use. I recently sold my Deere X758 and 650 tractors and consolidated their uses - mower, snowblower, front/back blades, rototiller, landscape rake, and cordwood saw, into a 2025R. I have a Deere 4320 for heavy-duty tasks such as loader, forks, backhoe, log splitter, and chipper. So, the 2025R loader is parked and won't see much use, and I'll be draining the ballast from the rear tires to minimize lawn compaction. While I've had it for only a month, and it is a bit large (and heavy) for mowing, the 2025R seems to be (for me) a perfect fit between the smaller X758/650 and the 4320. I have the 60" drive-over mower deck and, compared to connecting the deck on the X758 - also a drive-over and quick-connect, connecting the deck on the 2025R is a piece-of-cake, and I mean that; I've had no issues whatsoever. That said, I have toyed with the idea of picking up a Deere Z-series for mowing during the warm-weather months and use the 2025R for spring/fall clean-up. We'll see ...
Thanks Richard. John Deere makes a good solid tractor! I appreciate the support!
I have an X758 for mowing and snow blowing but would like to add a 2025r with a loader and backhoe to use maintaining my 9 acre wooded property. Greatly appreciate your review and honest comments. On other 2025r reviews comments were made about the fuel filler being located just above the instrument panel at the back of the hood. Really dumb!!!! It looks like you have a black plastic cap in that location on yours but it doesn't look like a fuel filler. Where is the fuel filler on your tractor and do you know if it has been changed for the 2024 model year? Great vid. Thanks!!!!
Thanks . Keep watching
I know JD is the higher price, but - service is key, for me: and my dealer is 8 miles away. Good video. Price point vs the Kubota, the dealer beat the Kubota price. some of the attachments on a JD are less then a Kubota. snow thrower example
Thank you. I also have good local service . Both are good machines!
I got mine in May of 21 , I only got the backhoe with it. I've looked around and found used implants that are like new for less than new price.
So far I've got a mowing deck,snow plow and a 3049 tiller
Awesome. Like it so far?
@@offthetrailsoutdoors sure do
I have a 2025R also I am green also will always be my father did 36 years the Waterloo John Deere Plant if I had it to do over knowing what I know now I might have got a 2 series with more HP , but for the most part since my purchase in 2018 no complaints ‼️
I enjoy it!
Hey i noticed when you loaded the 2025r on your flatbed, your rear most strap was looped around the bottom links of the 3pt. While your tractor is new, i think if your hydraulics were leaky or failing, this strap would loosen as the cylinders droop right? Wonder if there’s a better spot on the back to use
I agree. I need to find a better anchor point! Thanks for the comment
RUclips got me to your site I guess because I have a 2025R. I live on a woodlot so it will be interesting watching your videos. Got mine 2 years ago and have 200 hrs. I got the cheapest JD Z for the lawn instead of the deck. I agree with you on that. And on top of that the Z is fun and fast.
We’ll thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy.
I have one and am extremely happy with it ,
Awesome. Thank you for sharing!
Wow ! Same truck, same year, same year 2025r and same experience etc. lol. Nice review 😊
Awesome! Thanks for the view! Keep on watching!
Do you like your Tundra?
@@offthetrailsoutdoors Yes 1794 Its slightly rougher ride then some competition, but I'm keeping it. Did you see the recall on the new tundra? Yikes ! Love my rumble 😎
I have a 1025R and would like to go a touch bigger, do you know if the 2025R is much difference? If you look at specs they don't look like it but i'm afraid the 3 series may damage the lawn more than I'd like. I'm hoping someone out there has both that could do a side by side comparison sometime. Thanks for the nice vid!
The 1025r and the 2025r are basically the same tractor. The 2025r just has bigger tires and is a couple inches longer wheelbase. The 1025r and 2025r even share the same loader and backhoe. The 2032r and 2038r are a bigger tractor and have bigger loaders and bigger backhoes
The 2025R has a much higher ground clearance if that is important to you. It was to me. I have a 2023 Model. I also got the cab which is nicer on the
I have the same setup 2020 2025r TLB. It has been an amazing machine sometimes I do wish I would of went with the 2038r but I just couldn’t justify the price jump with the backhoe included. I opted to not get a MMM also.
Thanks for the comment. I’m glad you’re having a great experience like me. Subscribe and keep support the channel! More to come ! My salesman talked me out of the bigger engine because of the emission crap.
80 hour review on the one I had.would I buy again, hell no what a pile of junk. Kubota all the way!
Kubota’s are good too
Too much money.
So worth it !
