I think the price merits that the battery be made of Molicel cells. There is no doubt, that it looks unique, and is one of the best production electric scooters ever brought to market. Cheers.
Bud, do you feel like there is a big advantage of Molicel cells vs the LG cells they're using now? Energy density? Longevity? Ability to deliver bursts of current? -Paul
So you still shilling that piece of shit then :( It has so many problems it's insane.

I like his choice of words, he has dark humor. I don't mind the voice at all.
Yes, please! A wheel balancing tutorial would be excellent!
Thanks for letting us know Willis! -Paul
I’d just take the motor out of the rim and take it ( the rim) to a tyre shop to balance
At least half of the imbalance is in the tire. Because the wheel is set up to work with two bearings, it needs to be balanced with both bearings engaged, which means you also get the motor.
When I raced motorcycles, we (and all of the tire installers) static balanced all of the wheels, which was a matter of using a balance stand to find the light spot/heavy spot. Unfortunately the drag of the motor means you can't do that. So I really haven't found a better way to do it than tiral and error. Thankfully it doesn't take that long. -Paul
yes please!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I noticed the dualtron rim is very unique that the motor comes off so you can swap new rim and tire easily. Seems like the way they all should be?
Wow, great detail. I love the idea of balancing the tires for high speed runs rather than replacing them. Thanks for doing real top speed and real range tests too! I've been waiting for this!
Thanks Matt!
Few things: Paul is the goat of this scooter stuff. I own one of these, absolutely worth every penny. Love the upgrades. I have 1500 miles on mine and I love it. Go Nami!!
Thanks so much for the kind words & the Nami is definitely an exceptional scooter. Stay safe. -Paul
Love it Guys! Thanks for using some of our Voltage MotoWerks pics, the dragon helmet stood out 😂 appreciate the great reviews, only solidifies it’s position in the industry.
Just got a Dualtron Achilleus (I just wanted DURABLE and long range with big tires -- and something that could go in my trunk or back seat)... Burn - E 2 (not max) was my second choice (and in some ways I favored it over the Dualtron). So many great machines out there!
Awesome! Enjoy your new scooter.
Your videos never disappoint.
Loving every second of my Wolf King GT but I still enjoy watching all your content!

Exciting update! Hopefully NAMI keeps tweaking and improving on this model.
I'm sure they will. Michael Sha can't seem to stop trying new things. I'm actually very impressed that he kept this iteration so restrained and focused on refinement rather than doing something crazy. -Paul
Sanji can't wait. Not One Piece crew without Nami 👍
Please would love the balancing tires guide! Nami has wobbly tires and would rather that than new tires yet.
We will try our best! Thank You.
Hi.
From Portugal.
Yes please ..after follow your adjudtments on settings seems is the front tire that do the woobling in some speed..the suspencion adjust minor the issue but does not desapear.
I Guess my observation is the balance tire ..
Love your channel mate...Would love a video on balancing. I feel like I know it but have never tried and a video would be really useful.
Thank you Sammy! Sounds like we need to make a video :-) -Paul
I love electric scooters, I ride a ninebot max every day of spring, summer and fall .... I'm still curious to why people Wana go 60+ mph on a scooter.. it's not safe at all, regardless of the model.
That's exactly why.
@@davejohnson8338 yea the thrill indeed... I was hoping I heard something different for once 😃
NineBot max is excellent scooter! -Vosk
That's a great question. For me, it's all about having a scooter with a large battery for great range. I don't always ride at the max speed of my hyper-scooter and it always makes for great range on slower rides. However, I like the option to ride at the speed of faster traffic to evade those danger zones whenever traffic starts to become congested behind me. And yes, it is very exhilarating to speed it up sometimes.
More power better hill climbing ability! I usually average 20mph on my Kaabo mantis pro which helps give it decent range
After watching this video about this brand I finally made up my mind..Im goin for it💯
That’s awesome! Enjoy your new beast.
I will start off by saying you all have the BEST videos and continue the great work. I was watching this video because I owned the Nami original but it was stolen recently (sigh) so I just ordered the new max! With over 2300 miles on my nami, the "deadspace" on the throttle is more for your safety, and is actually quite enjoyable to have. The deadspace works through the entire throttle in a way. You can be riding at any speed and still "rock" on the throttle a bit and travel the same speed, but the deadspace is quite short (maybe 1/2 cm) once your traveling so accelerating is still instant imo. jam that throttle 100%, your just a passenger accelerating right to 60mph lol. Knowing you can comfortably ride over a speed bump at 40mph and confidently know even when your hand rocks the throttle a bit as you hit a bump your motors won't accelerate you or catch you by surprise. The throttle to motor sensitivity feel is almost "intelligent" in a way and knows exactly what you want to do.
after reading more comments for perspective i am a 6ft 195lb rider. In max settings + boost (95% torque in the front 100% to the wheel) (100% and 100% for front and wheel power) I can easily hit 60mph. Will accelerate you from 0-55 then tick up about 1.5/mph per second until you reach 60-62 depending how much road you have. I've gone up hills at 58mph and it pulls you the exact same way as if you were on the ground which makes it very apparent the scooter is limited (as it should be).
Sorry to hear that! Hope you enjoy your new scooter & no more issues. -Vosk
PLEASE do the wheel balance video!!!! Other than that thanks for another excellent review! My last two scooter purchases were based on your reviews. Phantom V2 and the Anyhill UM-2. two completely different scooters but both awesome for my use case.
We will try our best! Thanks for watching -Vosk
OMG, that's awesome. How do you like the UM-2? It's so stable, we use it as a camera scooter (riding with one hand and filming with the other) sometimes! -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide The UM2 is awesome! I bought it with the extra battery. I live in Las Vegas so we have a very long riding season (pretty much all year). I use the UM-2 to do small grocery runs and to go on nice leisurely cruises around the neighborhood and parks here. I ride EUC's as well and love the Phantom when its too windy for me to feel safe on the unicycle. We typically go on 25 + mile group rides in the evenings and early on the weekends before the sun gets too brutal.
Still the best electric scooter on the market and now with their website and a much better assistance !
We agree! It’s a awesome scooter!

Wow! Awesome review and ouch, way to give me a stiff kick in my patience as I wait for the Rion Thrust! The price point and quality of the Burn-E 2 Max is amazing. Paul you really know how to give a Brother the thought of buyer's remorse as I wait for a scooter that is actually the equivalent of 2 Burn-E 2 Max scooters without all the added amazing features of this amazing machine. I noticed that you mentioned that the ride quality could still use some improvement, yet their was zero wobble in the stem design. What was it about the ride quality that inspired your observation? Again, thanks for another great review.
Very insightful John! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
Hi John! Congrats on the Thrust! I hadn't heard you were expecting ;-)
The stem is awesome. Maybe my favorite. The shocks feel a little different vs our original. There is a decent amount of rebound damping, but a noticeable lack of compression damping vs the original. So the transition from compression to rebound ends up feeling a little odd. It's like the rebound damping is missing for the first 20% of the upward stroke. I swapped in a pair of older shocks on a newer NAMI and it, of course, completely cured it. So there is a slight manufacturing change in the shocks we have. Hopefully just a one-batch change and they'll go back to normal. Also something only truly fussy scooter nerds (that's me) would be likely to notice. -Paul
My God the amount of info you give on your videos is overwhelming.. BRILLIANT
Thanks so much! We try our best.

I got the Burn-E OG 35ah 72v, no longer made. It's still really fast, and I've gotten 57.5 mph.
Is there much of a performance difference between mine and the max? I've been told they all go the same speed 35ah and the 40ah?
I'd like to see it head to head with the Vsett 11+ Super 72
We will try to review the 11+ Super 72!
I gotta disagree on one point
I’ve never even ridden a normal kick scooter. I bought my burn e two max and have foundit incredibly easy to learn on and now I’m not gonna have to worry about upgrading as my confidence and ability gets better I absolutely love it and as I have a Toyota hilux ( small tundra I think that’s what u guys callem) and I’m constantly collapsing the stem to put it in the back and it’s not that big of an issue. I have felt like going over the handlebars when braking even following your riding and braking instructions and only getting it to 70kph I have been concerned with how much pressure I’m applying to the stem when braking I feel like I could snap it. I do believe a lot of the issues I have is just a case of me getting used to the scooters in general and adjusting the suspension
Very insightful! Thanks for sharing.
Nice! If you're working the stem that hard, just work on your balance and work toward making 95% of your interaction with the scooter through your feet. The more you can do that, the happier your scooter will be! (and you too). -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Great advice. That was my first learning curve with riding electric scooters. It's all about your stance. A good stance will rely more on using your legs and feet to reduce the pressure you put on the stem when stopping.
I’d like to thank you guys at esg swell because it’s watching them that has guided me through pretty much the whole process from the decision on which to go with, right through to the tutorials, tips and safety

@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I have two used versions I am considering buying. One is a Burn E and is not too far from where I live, the other is a Burn E 2 Max but is just over a two hour drive. Both are selling for the same price and at the same mileage (1100 miles). Is it worth driving to get the Max or should I be fine with the older one that is closer? Any opinions?
Do you recommend Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro or NAMI BURN-E 2 MAX? They both go plenty fast and I'm not really climbing any hills so I would mostly be going for reliability
Nami for the WIN!
My Viper 2 MAX fits just fine in my Honda compact hatchback. I use this for work and it's great. The actual ride and performance is excellent! It's smooth, quiet, and eats bumps(there's plenty to eat on these crappy Michigan roads).
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT ride this in the rain! IP55 my ass! I had to replace both motors and a headlight due to water damage. I did not ride in heavy rain but mists and drizzles. On a rainy day, put this thing away. It doesn't like being wet. I'd like to see them do something different with the front motor wiring. I don't like how turning left puts stress on those wires. It's also a PITA to get the motor wires lose in having to heat up the connector to even get it off. With the front motor wire it wraps around the top and goes into a hole. I couldn't get the plug out through the hole to replace it and had to cut the wire to get it out. Would like to see better design in this area.
You cannot see the display in daylight. If they had a replacement screen where you could see in sunlight I'd buy it ASAP. The wolf king GT pro and Viper 2 MAX seem to have the same instrument panel but the Viper MAX doesn't have light indicators for the buttons. They're there but don't light up like the GT pro. It would be awesome if the blinkers would shut off automatically after you finish a turn. Many times I make a turn and forget to turn the blinkers off.
Still, this is a great machine and I would recommend this to anyone who wants a high performance roadster scooter. Arguably THE best performance scooter on the market!
Very insightful! Thanks for sharing.
Oh boy, the thumb throttle sucks!! It sticks so far out/back that I have to almost let go of the grip to access it, not comfortable at all to feather the throttle when cruising around (I have regular size hands for someone 6'1"). I ordered the trigger throttle which I hope will fix my issue.
Also, when the charger finishes charging the fan turns off (light goes green) which is awesome, basically lets you know it's done without looking at the charger.
Insightful! Thanks for sharing
What finger throttle did you get ??? Thanks 🙏
I'd like to see you guys review the dualtron storm limited. Even if it's the broken version. Supposedly the fixed versions should be in the wild now in the USA. So reach out to your sponsors and try to get a review model. Please and ty in advance
Thanks for the reminder! We've been wanting to test one ever since it was announced, but the date seems to keep moving. As soon as Dualtron gets them fully sorted out we should have one! -Paul
I really wish, manufacturers would start to design, and come out with scooters, which have a similar design and feel to a motorcycle. By that I mean, they should have a larger wheel in the front, and a wider wheel in the rear. Scooters this size, are inherent unstable at high speeds. One solution, other than a steering damper, would be to implement larger wheels and, or, wider ones. That would help greatly in my opinion in the stability of the scooter at high speeds. I would like to see companies also come out with high performance scooters, which are more lighter in weight and more portable. I know is hard finding that balance between performance and weight. But, I feel the technology is already out there, to accommodate such a design.
This will definately head that way in the future! Thanks for watching.-Vosk
Thanks Paul. Great review as always!
Thanks for the kind words! -Paul
Hello. Are you sure you have the hill climb stats right? 10% grade is barely anything, so this scooter should be zipping up that at way more than 21 mph. I go up a hill that is about 20 degrees at over 25 mph, on a dual 1000W scooter, and only in 2nd out of 3 gears.
Maybe the hill you are using is short?
(Edit: oh ok, you said it gets to 40 mph by the end of the hill, so nm. I'm in San Francisco and was talking about O'Shaughnessy. As for the steepest hill I've tried, I tried Broadway above Taylor, about 30 degrees. I might've hit 10 mph. The Burn E's probably do a bit better, I imagine. I'm only on a Varla Eagle One.)
Take care.
they need to design it with a removable battery. sell a second battery with it you can put in your back pack and unplug/plug the new battery in to give it double the range when/if needed.
Interesting! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
Another great video and wonderful review
thank you
I wonder of course what the range is of the scooter when written at 25 miles an hour max with someone approximately 200 pounds on board
that's the kind of information I think a lot of us need
if I wanted to go on a 40 mile trip and I was operating the throttle in a responsible manner could I do so?
Plenty of time for fun at high speed with wonderful acceleration but how far could I really go if I needed to
I'd be happy to carry the five amp charger with me in a backpack but it still doesn't charge that quickly for obvious reasons
also I can't understand why scooter costing almost $5000 doesn't have run flat tires
that you looked inside the tires and didn't see any coating is an egregious oversight
this is 2022 and no one should have to worry about flats anymore on scooters because changing those tires is a horrendous pain in the a__ and always will be
appreciate all that you share with us
the very best to you and your entire team, always
Thanks so much for the kind words!
40 miles would be right on the edge for what you're describing. I spent a lot of time at 25 mph, reaching > 30 mph maybe 100 times during the 2 hour and 15 minute range test I did. I weigh 165 plus 9 lbs of riding gear and went 48 miles.
I definitely recommand adding some Armordilloz sealant. I even have some in one of my car tires and it's working perfectly. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I appreciate your reply and all of that information. I wonder why they didn't come up with a better solution for the tires for a scooter costing that much considering so many other scooters costing more than $1,000 less have run-flat tire technology

Which one would you recommend wolf gt pro or burni max v2
We like the Burn Max V2! Please check link in description for latest/best pricing!
Is there any reason why the V2 gets less range and speed than the V1? The numbers from your website states that the Nami V1 has a top speed of 58.8 mph and a range of 53.3 mi. The Nami V2 Max has a speed of 54.9 mph and a range of 48.0mi. I know speed is not everything but 5.3 miles of range is still alot!

What scooter would your recommend for a larger guy 270lbs with the budget requirements up to $5000 but no experience?
The Nami , wolf GT would all work out fine for your needs! -Vosk
Did u guys heard about Weped? They make scooters go as fast as 130KM/h
Yes but we have not tested one yet! Hopefully in the near future. -Vosk
The Segway GT2 claims 0-30 in 3 seconds if I recall correctly.
It’s very fast for sure! Huge torque. -Vosk
i gotta say, its pretty unfair to give so many awards for acceleration!
Good to see you again! Thanks for commenting!
There are 16 columns of metrics in our performance database that we've been tracking for the last 3.5 years, and the original NAMI was best in 13 of them. It really did surprise us to see one scooter take over nearly every column when sorted for best. The reason we track so many is that it's not always a given that the fastest to 15 will be the fastest to 30. But for sure, there is more to life than acceleration! I wish there was an objective scientifically measurable score for ride quality! -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide 16??
i thought there was only 9!
i only see 9 so far.
This scooter is so impressive. My scooter would need to be pushed if I climb those hills.
This is a very impressive scooter for sure!

Any news on the Nami blast? still not avalibale in the US
We should be reviewing it soon! -Vosk
It's interesting that even with the steering damper it's still not stable at high speeds like the WKGT.
Ours is very stable actually!
However in the Video he Stated it is not. Trying to decide between the two scooters as I'll definitely be buying one or the other and higher speed stability is a huge factor
@@michaelschwab9563 that was corrected with a now included steering dampener! The WKGT is more stable.
Stability at high speed is solved by installing PMT 100/55 R6.5 tires.
How far can it go with 30-40mph just curious
Depends on many factors including rider weight , elevation and weather conditions! -Vosk
Hi Vosk, is the NAMI still the best for hill climb these days? Tx!
Absolutely! Still a beast of all beasts! -Vosk

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide thank you !
How does the suspension compare to Wolf King GT Pro?
Will Nami have dual stem ever?
This suspension is much better! As of now there is no plans for dual stem.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide have you plans to review the weped models?
When exactly did the scooter come out to the public
In the beginning of the year! -Vosk
