Thanks ! But when I switch on my hair drier ( 1000 wt ) in main supply from main supply socket, a humming sound is produced from inverter ( Exide 1050 VA Pure sine wave )..why ?....pl reply.

Inverter is a electrical equipment which stores AC electrical energy in DC form and when their is a power failure or cut it provides electrical energy to system again by inverting stored DC energy in AC form.
But when it inverts dc to ac , the ac wave form we get is in sq. wave form and not pure sine wave form. By running ac sine wave equipment on ac sq. wave supply it gives humming sound for eg. Ceiling Fan. To overcome this problem modified sine wave inverter and pure sine wave inverter are used now a days.
Many times running fan on inverter causes slow or fast speed of fan. Speed of fan is dependent on voltage. If voltage provided by inverter is less than the speed of fan is also less and vice versa

Sir video bohot accha tha but mera ek question hai mera ki mera inverter mai jab bhi main cut off hota hai then celling fan inverter se chalne paar humming sound produce toh karta hi hai but voltage same hi raheta hai mains ki tarah mains bhi 240volts raheta hai and inverter ka output mai bhi 240volts nikal ta hai mains cut off hone k baad but tab bhi fan slow ghumta hai aisa kyu?
