  • Vic Hammond and his wife Mary go to a cocktail party hosted by their friends Jerry and Samantha Rainbow. Vic lusts after the difficult-to-seduce Samantha as she is faithful to her husband, so he devises a plan that would allow Vic and Jerry to switch wives for a night without the women knowing it.

Fabulous idea, I wish every party had a few, at least 4, people like this. Raold, I hope you are still getting plenty, above or below!!!

Great ending! It serves him right. He got what he deserved for his dirty shceming and betrayal. It's true that Jeremy is no better but the dirty idea first originated in his head, not Jeremy's

I could do this in French, but nawww the great switcheroo there were about forty people at Jerry and Samadhi's cocktail-party that evening. It was the usual crowd, the usual discomfort, the usual appalling noise -in between, all this monotony. une quarantaine de personnes assistainet ce soirla au alons yee.

Dahl really could create repulsive characters.

I can’t believe he write something like thus as a children’s author
Or that it is still allowed to be heard.. when so many children’s books have been banned. Ir rewritten fir tinny things
    This is rape.

This is great story but the reader here doesnt stop for breath. Its hard to know where a sentence ends and a new one begins. Too rapid a reading.
