I hate when our expensive appliances break down, ugh. I had to call Cosori Custmer Service today when my 2.5 quart pressure worker started beeping and showed an E4 code, apparently it's not fixable, so they are sending me a new one, my old one was just a year old a couple of days ago. Glad you got a great deal on the new coffeemaker.
Replaced mine last night. Tip keep a 3 cup on hand just in case this happens in the morning. I take the three cup on the road when I travel. Nothing like home brewed coffee in a hotel.
Rick the Cuisnart had a 3 year warranty. Maybe it was outlet near the sink mine has a reset button on the outlet next to the sink. Anywho I hope mine will last just got it today we will see.🤞 by the way I love your videos you crack me up!🤣
At least you got it opened. Those things are always so difficult to figure out how to open. Opening them is half the battle. You're already halfway to fixing it just by opening it. LOL
You fixed it alright! Fixed it good! They just don't make things like they used to. It seemed all of my parents appliances lasted years and years. Now you get a few years max ! Good luck with the new one!
I have a rival coffee maker I got at Walmart in 2011. Paid $10 for it and it’s never failed me. It’s just got an on and off switch. Nothing fancy, and it’s only 5 cup, but it was only for me at the time. it’s lasted way longer than I expected and still makes enough coffee for me and my wife :-)
If I'm not mistaken, isn't the Mr. Coffee actually made by Black & Decker? I've never had any luck withe Black & Decker that look axactly the same as Mr. Coffee. They usually end up being trashed with in a year or 2
Rick, we have a new restaurant called Mod Pizza. The crust is a tortilla shell. You put your sauce on it then your toppings and cheese. Bake and enjoy. It taste better than I thought. Sorry about your coffee pot. We don't think Mr. Coffee brews the coffee hot enough. Do you think it is as hot as you Cuisinart?
Awhile back we bought a no name coffee pot from Home Depot. It had no brand name and was in a black and white box. It was programmable and was only $15. It lasted about 3 to 4 years. We then bought a Mr. Coffee and it lasted a week. We called the company and they would not back the product. Called the store and they said we could not return it. So it got smashed and we bought a proctor silex for $25 and it has lasted a few years so far.
Rick just seen this vid . i should have bought that mr coffee a month ago . wife talks me into buying a keurig one cup. Coffee maker . problem is. With the cups it cost more to buy the stupid cups . than it would to buy a frikkin. Big damn container of folgers and filters.. .. My next investment will be a mr. Coffee.. 😌😌
I have a 12- cup Cuisinart (DCC-1200BKS) still going strong for years. I tried fixing a coffee maker once (little 4-cup one with a timer), woke up in the morning had a burning plastic smell, the element inside came off and melted to the countertop; that's what I get for trying to save buying one, ha-ha!
At work we use bunn coffee makers because it’s the only one that keeps going and going and going and we have 12 or thirteen of them for 300 of us making about eight pots per maker per day
I wonder how long that new machine will last? It seems in todays world, everything is a throw away item. Cheaper to replace than fix sometimes. Gotta have that "go juice" in the morning for sure.👍 👍
i lost my bunn professional one a month ago too. still havent decided what to get. using the icoffee single coffee one till i find the one i want. be sure to keep the top part right above the coffee pot clean too. i know some people do around here no one does keep those drips cleaned up from stealing a cup before its done LOL ( like you didnt already know that its to early i need my C O F F E E. havent been around again back to catch up time.
Wow..I’ve had my cusinart for going on 13 yrs and counting. Don’t recall what I paid but it’s paid for itself several times over in my opinion. I got it to replace my Krups which lasted 6 months.😕
fixed mine (same as yours) by taking it back to Costco and got another one, easy fix. Funny thing, as a "backup" we bought that exact same Mr. Coffee, brews pretty dang good for being inexpensive.
It sucks that your Cuisinart coffee maker quit on you. I had to replace a Mr. Coffee 12 cupper that I was purchased new at walmart for me and my uncle back in 2014. It was at my grandma's house. It pooped out last year. I ended up buying a 12 cup Toastmaster from Dollar General last year.
I see you keep it next to the sink, maybe it could have got wet and shorted out? Just a thought🙂 although, I bought a cusinart grill that lasted for 1 use! No kidding. Not a good brand me thinks.
I fixed an overpriced short-lived pain-in-the-you-know-what printer like that once. It's a good feeling! I only buy cheap ones now. Congrats on the new machine. I hope Mr. Coffee does you better than that Squeezinfart did.
Just remember Rick!! you get what you pay for!!! BUT I have had my Mr. Coffee for 2 and a half years and it is still working good! So hopefully you will have yours for a while!! :) or you can go really "Old School" and buy a stove top percolator! Lol!!!!
Are you by chance kin to my husband cause you two fix broken items the same way.. You don't know how many times he has threatend to fix his cell phone right into the sidewalk.. Lol!
marybeth fields My husband also!!! 😂 But he did “fix “ his cellphone with a hammer. He did away with our cellphone plans. A month later, I got my first “smartphone”, and he wanted one 18 months later. I told him that if he had a problem with his new phone, do no harm to it because it’s my account now!! We’ve had it for 5 years now, no problems.
Had a Bunn coffee machine for years and gave it away don't plan on spending more than $25 like you because they are really disposable appliances now 😒🤦
If it was that expensive you were an idiot for treating it that way. Did you run cleaning runs through your maker with the water. Your water may be the problem in addition to how it's kept cleaned. Good luck with this next one.
Mr Coffe is the best
I have used that same repair method on multiple devices!!
Excellent!
cool coffoe maker rick
Hahaha hahaha hahaha I love the Fonz try!!!
👍😎👍

Wow. That's no fun. But its good they're sending you a new one! Yeah let's see how long this one lasts for me.
Replaced mine last night. Tip keep a 3 cup on hand just in case this happens in the morning. I take the three cup on the road when I travel. Nothing like home brewed coffee in a hotel.

“Gurgle Gurgle Gurgle” You crack me up!! Gave me big ol belly laugh 🤣‼️‼️
Hahahaha! Glad you got a good laugh! 😁
I once fixed my vcr by jumping on it because it chewed a rental film 5 minutes from the end!
Haaaaa! :)
At least you got it opened. Those things are always so difficult to figure out how to open. Opening them is half the battle. You're already halfway to fixing it just by opening it. LOL
Yeah! :)
You fixed it alright! Fixed it good! They just don't make things like they used to. It seemed all of my parents appliances lasted years and years. Now you get a few years max ! Good luck with the new one!
You're so right! Thank you very much! :)
Ahhhh coffee! Gotta have my coffee! Way to fix it! Good luck with this new red one! It’s purty! ☕️☕️☕️☕️👍
Thanks! Yeah! I hope it lasts long enough!
Not again!! I got tired of always having to buy another I got a percolator and a coffee press.. I love both!! 😆😆 loved that fix!!
Yeah I fixed it. It will never give me a problem again. :)
You should have bought a Keurig instead. Best coffee maker ever!
Maybe next time. :)
SWEET FIX!!!!!!
Truly inspirational fix, please consider running for President in 2020, you could make America sane again.
If I'm not mistaken, isn't the Mr. Coffee actually made by Black & Decker? I've never had any luck withe Black & Decker that look axactly the same as Mr. Coffee. They usually end up being trashed with in a year or 2
I don't know. But for that price a year would be good.
Oh there might be a Mod Pizza near me. If so I'll try it. The coffee seems hot enough. :)
Invest in a percolator. I'm using the one my grandmother bought in 1962. I've only had to replace the cord.
I have one. :) Nice!
Awhile back we bought a no name coffee pot from Home Depot. It had no brand name and was in a black and white box. It was programmable and was only $15. It lasted about 3 to 4 years. Wow! Ya never know how these new things are gonna last.
We have a Keurig. Coffee sounds good!
Coffee.. 😌😌
Yeah I don't like those single cup ones. I have to fill a thermos so it wouldn't be good for me. This one was cheap enough. :)
You TCB'd that coffee maker😂😂I remember you fixing the other one😂😂
I sure did!
At work we use bunn coffee makers because it’s the only one that keeps going and going and going and we have 12 or thirteen of them for 300 of us making about eight pots per maker per day
Yeah they're industrial strength. I know they are good ones.
I wonder how long that new machine will last? It seems in todays world, everything is a throw away item. Cheaper to replace than fix sometimes. Gotta have that "go juice" in the morning for sure.👍 👍
Yes too bad things aren't made like they used to be.
How many cups does it make? U only put 6 spoons of coffee for a full pot. Was it as strong as U like it? I love ur quick fix1 :-)
i lost my bunn professional one a month ago too. still havent decided what to get. using the icoffee single coffee one till i find the one i want. be sure to keep the top part right above the coffee pot clean too. i know some people do around here no one does keep those drips cleaned up from stealing a cup before its done LOL ( like you didnt already know that its to early i need my C O F F E E. havent been around again back to catch up time.
It would have been funny if you plugged your Cuisinart in after dropping it and it worked ..... 🤣 Glad you had your coffee in the end Rick ! ☕️
Yeah that would have been good. :)
Rick! you should try brown filters. Makes a better cup of coffee. I believe that is.
Yeah I get them sometimes!
Wow..I’ve had my cusinart for going on 13 yrs and counting. Don’t recall what I paid but it’s paid for itself several times over in my opinion. I got it to replace my Krups which lasted 6 months.😕
For another 75 bucks you could have had a backlit timer
Yeah!
fixed mine (same as yours) by taking it back to Costco and got another one, easy fix. Funny thing, as a "backup" we bought that exact same Mr. Coffee, brews pretty dang good for being inexpensive.
Gotta treat yourself and get a Technivorm Moccamaster!
Someday.
I noticed you have Dawn Platinum dishwashing liquid. That is some good stuff!
Ok that works too
It sucks that your Cuisinart coffee maker quit on you. I had to replace a Mr. Coffee 12 cupper that I was purchased new at walmart for me and my uncle back in 2014. It was at my grandma's house. It pooped out last year. I ended up buying a 12 cup Toastmaster from Dollar General last year.
Yeah well, we'll see how long this one lasts. It's good for now. :)
I hope it lasts you years to come. Is it under warranty? Where did you buy it at?
Been there, done that!
Now that is the way to fix a coffee maker. I fix my lawnmowers that quit pretty much the same way. Love the TCB coffee mug.
Rick, I hope you didn't spend much on those electric appliance repair classes. I'd have done the same buddy. LOL
Nope didn't spend much at all! :) Sometimes I fix stuff!
I see you keep it next to the sink, maybe it could have got wet and shorted out? Just a thought🙂 although, I bought a cusinart grill that lasted for 1 use! No kidding. Not a good brand me thinks.
Kathy can’t leave you alone for 5 minutes can she?
Revenge on the coffee maker! I am a coffee lover, a morning without coffee is NOT a morning.
I fixed an overpriced short-lived pain-in-the-you-know-what printer like that once. It's a good feeling! I only buy cheap ones now. Congrats on the new machine. I hope Mr. Coffee does you better than that Squeezinfart did.
Hahahaha thanks! 👍😄
Doesn't it have 5 year warranty
I don't know. I thought one year. Oh well too late for that.
Just remember Rick!! you get what you pay for!!! BUT I have had my Mr. Coffee for 2 and a half years and it is still working good! So hopefully you will have yours for a while!! :) or you can go really "Old School" and buy a stove top percolator! Lol!!!!
james hi... I don’t think it works that way anymore. Seems to me nothing lasts.... too much crap being thrown out all the time👎🏼
Are you by chance kin to my husband cause you two fix broken items the same way.. You don't know how many times he has threatend to fix his cell phone right into the sidewalk.. Lol!
marybeth fields My husband also!!! 😂 But he did “fix “ his cellphone with a hammer. He did away with our cellphone plans. YuP!
Rick Mammana Thought so
Kathleen L I hear ya my husband hates stuff that doesn't work well.
I've had alot of coffee makers over the years. The best and longest lasting was a Bunn. The worst was a kuerig
TRY A BUNN COFFEE MAKER THE NEXT TIME, THEY LAST FOREVER.
I like to get a big hammer to fix my stuff lol
It works sometimes!
Omg ..... lol !
Tcb... The coffee is brewed...
Mr.Coffee Is a good brand or it wouldn't be around for 48 Years.
Be easier not to drink coffee
Had a Bunn coffee machine for years and gave it away don't plan on spending more than $25 like you because they are really disposable appliances now 😒🤦
All plastic and sounds like cheap plastic. Buy over priced k-cup machine
If it was that expensive you were an idiot for treating it that way. Did you run cleaning runs through your maker with the water. Your water may be the problem in addition to how it's kept cleaned. Good luck with this next one.
Good thing you don't live in a basement.
Then I'd throw it up!
Rick Mammana Can you throw up a 12 cup coffee maker? Probably choke on it.
