Maybe Bmw should give a option of fully spec and low spec .. by extra 30 to 50k consumer will pay the price.. if you really love this car . You will pay the price.
These cars are ment for rich people. So after 5 years or less the person can sale it cheap and buy a new one. If your income is average then just ignore these cars and avoid headaches
Just sold my 2019 G20 330i. Test Drove C43 AWD 367hp so much more comfortable ( prefer comfortable car ) grip pretty bad because of RWD . I personally prefer AWD ( better grip ) make me feel safer. Feel scare when speeding 185kmh above. Not sure why . Maybe too bouncy or steering too thick or Grip issue . Overall experience is good 30k Mileage 16 months with this 330i G20. If u need comfort. Go for 320i If u need power. Go for 330i,340i
Didn't you watch my video before you bought? I said it's not comfortable enough for daily use. Too bumpy. And I also said the fast steering feels scary at high speeds.
One thing that Malaysia Automotive don't have is the Build Vehicle option, for example my Boss wanting to buy BMW M840d instead of M850i; in Foreign country he can get Higher Specifications with Less Powerful Engine with Better Mileage & Cheaper Pricing, my Boss said Malaysia Road Condition so Lousy & Terrible Road Congestion you think buy Powerful Engine vehicle can drive so fast like in Autobahn.. Same goes to me I'm intended to buy A200 Hatchback/Sedan but want better specifications like A250 AMG Line instead of A200 Progressive Line, most automakers thinks that Entry Level vehicle and Less Powerful Engine vehicle only can come with Cheap Specifications. When people afford to buy Premium/Luxury Brand vehicle they wouldn't mind spending but it have to be worth the value, my Boss (stingy businessman) would rather bought Lexus LX450d than Lexus LX570 it wasn't because he couldn't afford but he thought both the inside out were the same except for the Engine Output & Mileage
Bobby, I’ve driven the XE as well and I’ve the same opinion as you on the handling, but as for the transmission tuning I think you’re right as well where it downshifts when you don’t want and then upshifts again while maintaining the same throttle input making it lurching and stressful at low speed driving, however that was the XE with the ecoboost engine. Perhaps they didn’t sort it out because the following year it was gonna be replaced with their own modular ingenium i4 and i6? Dunno if jaguar Malaysia brought in the ingenium XE yet
Agree with Mr. Bobby (pay what u want) but one thing to highlight: even with F30 330e BMW malaysia also ignore safety technology but since new G20 launching so is not cost effective for them. So let's see this batch G20 PHEV they have it or not. Volvo PHEV T8 have safety tech and price competitively so i don't see any reason why can't BMW do it.
The XE does falls short compared to 3er. However, the XE Project 8 is a totally different beast. Journalist all around are singing praises. Hope u could lay your hand on 1 and review it 😂
Hey Bobby. I agree with what you said that the car is a bit scary at times. Also agree on your point that the G30 5 series absorbs the bumps on the road much better the G20. Drove the two cars back to back and it was two different worlds. What size wheels are you riding on and does it have adaptive suspension?
Finally I found someone who describe this unpleasant feeling. So its only on a certain trim? I have a 2020 330 X drive. what trim does not have this problem.?
Hello Bobby, I'm from Thailand and going to buy same spec 330i as Malaysia. I've watch whole your video. Just one question, Is it really bad about the comfort? I come from Subaru WRX STi and just sell my car because my wife and my son can't tolerate the harsh suspension like that but anyway, my wife has some high tolerance about the suspension, but not STi. If it really really bad for long haul drive I'll change my mind before the car is come Thx for further info
Let me help you here.. the suspension is not that bad.. i test driven this g20 few weeks back but i havent driven the sti.. my car is currently on adjustable coilover.. let me tell you that this m sport suspension is a luxury compared to my coilover.. i heard that the sti suspension is almost as harsh as a coilover.. so i dont think you will find the m sport suspension that bad..
bobby i completely disagree with your price vs spec comparison. BMW Malaysia seems to be taking Malaysians for a ride. it will just drive customer away...say what u want about how it drives and handles...end of the day it's overpriced and under-speced. such a disappointment
Well, there's the Volvo S60 T8 for you. If specs are as important as what every Malaysians claimed, Volvo would've at least sell more than half of what BMW does right? The fact is Malaysians like exterior and badges.
But when I asked the salesman if I could opt for laser lights and hud, they said they can't do that cause of how the system of the car for the Malaysian spec is meant for only what it already has and adding it would already be a different system or something like that
I think they r lazy to go through the hassle to change it to laser light. Easy job for them to just order default spec. Because i did ask them the same question and all sorts of excuse come out.
For the price of 328k, can get bmw 5series or Mercedes Eclass lah... totally low specs without so many safety features, don’t even have Harman Kardon... lol 😝
@@BobbyAngmalaysia while one may say the 5 series is CKD and this is CBU, think should just wait for the CKD. paying RM330k for a 3 series, the money can be used to pay for a 5 series which is more plush and comfy.
Lemtem Poktui yea logical choice would be c43 for now, unless you wait for locally assembled 3 series. But do keep in mind new c-class will be out in 1-2 years
Hello from Germany! Loving your videos 👋

usama al-mulali wise words

Its about tax...is not Malaysian not willing to paid but are we worth to pay higher price than others while get the lowedt specs
Exactly

You can choose m adaptive suspension for better ride.
@Bobby Ang Is it because of the Low-profile tyres which makes you feel the bumps?
Hey Bobby if I want to have fun between a250 and this 330i which one is more fun?
Next time use Sony cam for main video as the colour accuracy better.

Hi Bobby, did you also drive the g20 with the adaptive dampers? If so, would you recommend the 3 series with the M adaptive dampers?
11:55 Bobby Language! XD
Hahaha
What is the difference between 3 series and Mazda 3?
Quite weird not seeing the trim on the door considering this is a german product

I don't know. This video looks weird and awkward at the same time. And i feel dizzy too
Yet those features are available in pickup trucks
Bob, where's the link for vote the best car as u mentioned?
3系的操控回来了。。。
I think it all comes down to personal peference
Will there be a 340i coming to Msia ?

the harman kardon in the 5 series sucks
What about a G20 with standard suspension vs F30 with standard suspension?
F30 wayyy more comfy
