If it remains above RM300k, the 530e will be a logical choice.

Imo, last gen 3 series backseats are already horrendous to sit for a long drive, it is jerky and not comfortable although you have enough space. If this is even stiffer, it's just worse.

C300 more comfy for daily drive. G20 sharper. Both specs are not too far apart if you compare spec by spec. So i find the specs acceptable. Subaru Forester with eyesight and without eyesight will be roughly rm10k apart. Imagine a BMW.

It rides harder than my 2008 Mazda6 Sport...which is stiff enough already. If this G20 has even harder suspension setting than the F30 M Sport...that might become unbearable to the passengers.
C300 is a previous generation product. Sound proofing is poor. But merc has fixed the handling and suspension issue, so it is a lot better. But G20 is a new product.

I think bmw interior quality is far better than Mercedes lah. I mean the entry lvl ones. Coz last time i was in the cla, the centre console thing moved a bit when my fat leg bump into it😂. That thing, u can shake it and it'll move. Like it's not properly bolted onto the car body. Felt like wanna jump out of the car coz it's a damn CLA. A Mercedes-Benz not a perodua bezza. 😂

You are wrong when you say your able to walk into any BMW and spec it as you want and pay for it. Thats not true.. due to tax issues in malaysia customers are forced to buy it as what BMW malaysia has chosen in terms of specs for all their cars. I just booked the G20 believe me auto bavaria didn't allow me to add anything the driving assistance package, 360 camera, not even a different interior trims, NOTHING. You buy as it is.

BMW reliability is bad. I had E90, F10 and E63.. all poor reliability after warranty period finished.
The box under the light switches is actualy quite big: it's pretty deep.
