What are you talking about. One out of 3 sermons is from James RCC and protestant. It is Paul who is hated on you tube by the thousands . James was written OFF by Christ and DID not preach the same Gospel. Why was James allowed to take that position?

    • @texticusrex7690

Two different James. Secondly what reference do you draw your claim from? WHO WROTE JAMES OFF? Who indeed. Gospels are not history, contradictory and simply shabby Greek accounts that tend to evolve by the time we get to John in 100 A.D. From Mark (not Mathew) as the first in 70 A.D. to John 30 yrs later the picture of Jesus is quite magnificent. From a simple meeting of John the Baptist and a simple dunk he was suddenly written in as the lamb of God to take the sins away from mankind and blah blah blah with John falling all over him. Also compare Jesus' answer to Pilot when asked if he was the Messiah. Im sorry people but these rags cant be called the word of God. Its so stupid and obvious. Exulting Jesus above John was simply something Rome felt necessary as the active talon clad poisonous pen moved back and forth constantly changing and revising until Jesus was exactly compliant with the Pax Romana . And the blind emotional boobs that bought the contrived story wouldnt and didnt even notice. Its both FASCINATING AND SICKENING. So brilliant and dare I say so EVIL.

@@texticusrex7690 first what evidence do you have that Jesus didn't say what he said in John?
By what evidence are you judging the new testament if you dont have any other historical evidence to prove that you are right and the new testament are wrong?
Why wouldn't Jesus be the son of God?
In Matthew Jesus said that no one knows the father except the father and no one knows the son expect the father and to the one he wants to reveal to him.
If Jesus said that in Matthew,
The same thing is in John,
We have the same sayings in multiple gospels,
They are independent historical sources where people who were eyewitnessess are trying to memories what happened to Jesus that's why in John is a little bit different from what Jesus said in Matthew or in Luke because they both have the same scenario,
Jesus was asked if he was a king,
And the same stories are in different ways written but the story is the same,
      So the gospels are history,
And the letters of Paul are earlier than the gospels and they are definitely history,
Jesus knows that scholars will not trust the gospels 100 % that's why he used Paul as a educated person to write what happened and to teach others,
So if you want history read the Bible in a historical point of view but you can't disprove them if you don't have another historical document that is against our gospels in which we can see and read and examine to take you seriously on your claim because the bible is history and the truth.

@@الربيسوعهوالحقAre you for real. Paul never met Jesus! He came along well after Jesus was killed. The real apostles who knew Jesus didn’t want anything to do with Paul. Jesus’s brother James led the early church of Jesus along with the other disciples. Paul took Jesus’s teaching to the gentiles and made most of it up as he had never heard Jesus teaching.

I personally have always been suspect of Paul myself, because while the dream of Peter and conversion of Paul seem like a weak rationalizing of a way to get rid of the Laws of Moses, in order to make Judaism more attractive to the Gentiles. In the book of Acts he talks about chasing these Christians down and goes through a conversion, which sounds more like a vision of how to outsmart the Zealots and creating a version of Judaism that would allow the incorporation of the Gentiles into the movement. Is it then a wonder that the version of Christianity that emerged has Jesus painted to look more like the mythological heroes the Gentiles were accustomed to worshipping?

You hit the nail on the head brother. This is the reason the role of Jesus family, including James, was virtually washed out of the Gospel accounts of Jesus life and ministry. How James became the head of the Jerusalem church ahead of all the so-called apostles is inexplicable unless the Gospels and most of the book of Acts were written as a whitewash of history to prop up Pro-Pauline Christianity.

"Don't you trust that God is behind of it and He is able to support your journey?" I find it rather ironic that you are requiring of others something you obviously are not practicing yourself. Perhaps if you could develop the technology that creates things for free? If you read the Bible the priests collected tithes and offerings to be able to purchase the things needed to maintain the temple. In order to be a Christian in the first century you were required to give all you had to the community as they shared everything in common. If you didn't work to help sustain the community you didn't eat. Your answer is in 1 Timothy 5:18: For Scripture says, "Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain," and "The worker deserves his wages." You might also read 1 Corinthians 9:14:
"In the same way, the Lord has prescribed that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel."

Eisenmann starts out by saying to know the historical Jesus you must know His brother James(Ya'aqob).
I am seeking to follow the historical Yahoshua who is not presented in modern Christianity. I know that the Book of Jubilees and the Book of Enoch are inspired, therefore, I read them to gain an understanding of what pleases Yahveh. Yahoshua did the father's will and so pleased Him. Yahoshua knew the Enoch who went to heaven to get the solar calendar, Yahoshua knew the appointed times that are in the Book of Jubilees. I will buy this book that is here presented. Eisenmann is a beloved man for his work on the Dead Sea Scrolls.

This is how I keep the Sabbath even though most everyone I know keep sunset to sunset. They were vegetarian and master gardeners and masters of other arts and sciences and they understood the sky. I hope to keep the Feast of Tabernacles with those on the solar calendar. I believe the Bible calls them Nazens. This is how I consider myself, I am not a Christian. The name Christian was given by the Romans in Acts. The book of Enoch and Jubilees are amazing.

Nazarene and Jamesian Christianity, which was messianic is one of the main inspirations behind Islam. The Hadiths spoke of Mohammed coming to contact with a lot of Essenes during his visits to Syria when he was a trader. That is also a reason why that area converted to Islam so fast and receptively.

    • @dannyhuskerjay
      @dannyhuskerjay 4 месяца назад

The essences are nothing like Islam. Islam has more influence from Pauline Christianity.
The Ethiopian Orthodox Church is the closest to the church of James that we have. They have Enoch and jublie in their canon. They still Circumsizse , they still follow kosher, they speak a Semitic language, they claim to have the ark of the covenant, Islam could never convert the country. We have the account of tbe ethopians converting in acts which professor uses. Also archaeological evidence shows Christianity in Ethiopia came down from Jerusalem.
Lots of other orthodox Christians still confront them over obvious Jewish influences. But ethopian fathers have writings going to the earliest church fathers.

Wasn't Jesus the birthright heir of David? That birthright needed to go somewhere. If Jesus had a son then to his son. But if the son of Jesus was not old enough, or available for whatever reason to act as the ruler in the birthright, then a brother of Jesus would be the head of the church for awhile. The victors by way of Constantine are not going to point out any thing about the Davidic birthright. They must bury that and make up some other means for authority from God to flow. This they did using Peter.and a misinterpretation of Peter as a rock. It is about time that someone reviewed the the real evidence for how things happened after Jesus left. I have not read the book, but, it sounds like a very important work. I hope it deals with the matter of birthright.

Paul was a braggart and a prevaricating liar. E.g., he has TWO versions of leaving Damascus (compare Acts 9:23-25 and 2 Corinthians 11:32, 33, where it was the Arab King Aretas who was out to kill him---not "the Jews"). All Bible experts agree that ACTS is a book that casts Jesus' brother James aside, building up Paul--the ancient inventor of "Christianity". He never understood that the term "son of God" was purely ALLEGORICAL in the mouth of Jesus. (Compare John 10:33-35 and Psalm 82:6). Go and learn what Jesus meant when he said "God doesn't want sacrifice, but KNOWLEDGE OF GOD) (Mt 9:13, 12:7).

Paul didn't write Acts. I have studied James for 5 months -the whole deal- See for yourself- the Law Lover and the one who impugns Christians - Perhaps the most startling fact in my life-I found no negative comment on James, As Far as Paul, James is rocking on his knees and doesn't believe in lucre for hell bent rich men. So he calls Paul, the hardest working man certainly in the NT, brings the bounty in Jerusalem for James, "Oh Paul, would you mind, my whipping boy,
would you please purify yourself? Don't be upset if I send more spies- your preaching that the law increases sin bothers....

    • @duffgordon9005
      @duffgordon9005 10 лет назад

Luke gives James the short-drift? Is that why in Acts 15, after all was settled that the Gentiles And James is on board that the Christian Gentiles Are NOT UNDER THE LAW PERIOD? OH, OH, NO here comes the one of the biggest BUTS in Biblical Scripture history- I do have 4 minor minute LAWS that you need to follow. So ignore all the hundreds of previous laws but I do not trust you to know that these four are extra special important but the Decalogue you have a pass.So after Christ has fulfilled the law we have another law giver, the last in history and the first since Christ's commands. PAul writes six times that the law INCREASES sin knowing full well the only reason Eve took of the fruit was God said not to. Jo JAmes had the opportunity in Acts 15 to pronounce that all believers Gentile and Jewish goal is to fulfill Royal Law with our failures being forgiven our Lord Jesus Christ.
Finally, Luke didn't mention him but three times probably because he couldn't stand the man who preached impartiality and yet shot right to the top passing by his own by those who had risked all why he was doing his "holy thing" during Jesus' ministry and still praying rocking on his knees getting his vegetable meals delivered. All the while needing total purity and using his whipping boy PAul to collect dirty money from the rich pagans as he condemned Christians HE THINKS he knows the facts to or which may be completely allegorical (according to Moo) in James Chapter 2. Quoting Eisemann "James is NOT a Christian Epistle" it is Essene in flavor,

For you know how many sons your esteemed writers ascribed to Jupiter: Mercury, the interpreting word and teacher of all;AEsculapius, who, though he was a great physician, was struck by a thunderbolt, and so ascended to heaven; and Bacchus too, after he had been torn limb from limb; and Hercules, when he had committed himself to the flames to escape his toils; and the sons of Leda, and Dioscuri; andPerseus, son of Danae; and Bellerophon, who, though sprung from mortals, rose to heaven on the horse Pegasus. Islam is a copy of Judaism and was invented in the 12th century. Mohammad wanted to unite the Arabs who had many gods and many divisions and much disorganization. He learned from the Jews to have only 1 god and how to live more purely such as not eating pork and stopping sexual immorality. Mohammad created unification by removing the many gods and gave the Arabs only 1 and to pray 5 times a day. This was taken from the Jews who prayed 3 times a day but he changed the requirements to 5 times a day for Islam. Everything Mohammad got he got from Judaism in the 12 century. That's a historical fact. I researched many of the religions because I believed they were all good, including Hinduism and Buddhism. They are not good. Islam was created in the 12 th century. This alone tells us it had nothing to do the Qumran scrolls. All three religions Judaism, Christianity and Islam have all been infiltrated and were designed for the end time wars so all three wipe each other out. None of the 3 are pure but....there is one book that still can give salvation. If you truly want salvation you will find it.

Especially if they grew up together and saying in the cannon that no man is good, only God is good. So I'm leaning towards this might create some issues of confusion.

Right at the beginning of the shtf, which the Bible calls the 'Great tribulation' the survivors indicated in Revelation 7:9,14-17 are already inside God's Kingdom, at the time of Christ's appearance, 'in power and great glory', Matthew 25: 31, 34. Matthew 24: 29,30. These include meek and righteous people Psalms 37: 11, 29 who will possess the earth, and live upon it forever in peace. These are faithful people who love Jehovah God. John 3: 16. There is a sanctuary identified in Micah 4: 1-7 where Jehovah's name is sanctified; and God's Kingdom is being taught. Matthew 6:9, 10. Sudden events occur, that bring this system into ruin. Christ Jesus said: "He that is not on my side is against me, and he that does not gather with me scatters." Matthew 12: 30. These 'scattered' ones will not be able to survive the onslaught that is coming. The biggest Divine rescue of mankind in history is being carried out. The true God, Jehovah comes to rescue the human race. It is the wicked that are destroyed Psalms 92: 7, and this makes the Great tribulation over. The time of man's rule over man is over. This is seen when the political system commit crimes against humanity. Revelation 6: 8.
To illustrate these revealed crimes, first pilots destroy Iran's nuclear assets, and they refuel in Saudi Arabia. This angers the leadership of Iran, Daniel 11: 44, 45 who then BOMB Israel. The war has broken out including the US and allies Daniel 8: 20, 23-25. Iran will BOMB Jerusalem Jeremiah 25: 29. Then the allies, under UNSC authority will BOMB Iran.Jeremiah 49: 35-38 But their authority has already been revoked by Jehovah, who installed Christ in authority Malachi 4: 2 Matthew 24: 29, 30. So the shocking financial crash is manifest, that brings this entire civilisation to an end. Psalms 46: 4-6 Ezekiel 7: 19 Revelation 18:17 James 5: 1-3 Isaiah 2: 18-20 Isaiah 55: 1.
This is not the only war appearing at this time, and its not the only crisis. But this serves to show why the political system, as a whole are EXECUTED Revelation 19: 11,19-21 for crimes against humanity Revelation 6:8. They are all, acting under the defunct UNSC [Revelation 13: 15-18] 'the disgusting thing causing desolations' Matthew 24: 15 'standing in the holy place'. We see CHRIST has arrived; and this 'disgusting thing' is causing massive death and suffering for mankind; and has CRASHED the financial system, so it won't be coming back. Also, man cannot survive under these circumstances. So the actions of the political 'wild beast' have threatened all life here with extinction Matthew 24: 21, 22.
Jehovah has made a solemn promise that He will 'have to speak', when Satan [Gog of Magog] comes upon the soil of Israel Ezekiel 38: 18, 19. He will then 'give it to the One who has the legal right' Ezekiel 21: 26,27. This is the bombing of Israel; and the arrival of the Sunrise Malachi 4: 2 when Christ arrives 'in power and great glory' Matthew 24: 29, 30 WE will see the political system and the wicked ones bring the system to ruin. The time of man's rule over man is over. Romans 9:28. The 'sheep' are all safe, in God's Kingdom as seen in Matthew 25: 31, 34 when Christ arrived.
But the 'scattered' ones; what of them? That is why preachers are sent forth, as seen in Romans 10: 13-15 to explain to people. Some of these 'scattered' ones might be gathered with Christ in the refuge indicated in Micah 4: 1-7 before the time of disaster fully arrives. This very high 'mountain' where Jehovah is being worshipped, will 'drip with new wine' in the harvest-time Amos 9: 13 when the 'plowman' overtakes the 'harvester'; at the end of this system. This 'new wine' Isaiah 65: 8 represents Jehovah's servants preserved in everlasting life John 17: 3. And the 'plowman' is seen when this system is turned upside down with disasters. How much time remains before we see missiles wars, and a financial meltdown? The sunrise is imminent. Malachi 4: 2. That's why these things are also part of the public conversations.

Ok someone please help me understand this, so James was not on the same religion as Paul?

    • @adamdilem941
      @adamdilem941 9 лет назад +4

No he wasn't. James was a believer of salvation through faith in God of Abraham, Ishak an Jacob plus doing good deeds and abiding the law of Moses which include but not restricted to:
      - Worship of the one God, the father in heaven
      - Thou shall not bow make or bow to any idols
      - Shall not commit murder, fornication, idolatery, interest based loans, theft, backbiting ...ect
      - observe the Sabath day of worship
      - Male circumcision
      - Donot eat Pork, blood or animals sacrified to idols ...
      - ...
Paul however has broken all those laws and created a religion that oppose James's and Jesu's and called it Christianity then preached it to non jews because none of the Jews wd be foolish enough to rebell against the bible's basic teachings.

+Will Knowme Thank you for that, but I think for me this raises a lot more questions than answers. If James and Paul were not on the same religion. If some people at that time did not agree with Paul and therefore today's Christianity is fallable. Assuming James followed Jesus's teaching. Does that mean Jesus did not come with a new religion and he came to the lost sheep of Israel to fulfill there religion of Judaism and to confirm the old testament? Therefore everything in the old testament is still valid? Such as not eating pork etc. One true God and therefore the trinity is blasphemous? I hope someone can help me answer all these questions in my head. Thank you again.

I Uddin Brother I can go on detailing those issues from my modest knowledge and understanding but the best answer I give you is this: Read the Quran and you'll find the answers to all your questions.
I think you got the main picture. God doesnt change his mind in his principle teachings. Especially when it comes to his nature, attributes, divinity and oneness, the way of our salvation, faith and worship ect.
God sent a scripture to Abraham and it was lost. He sent the Torah to Moses and what we have today are versions and translations of it that has great deal of man's manipulation. He sent the Gospel to Jesus not Gospels in plural. Not the Gospels of Luke, Mathew, Mark and John which are names added to the bible just few centuries ago. Nobody today knows who really wrote them and they all contradict each other. Paul's teachings and letters are definitely not the word of God and yet the have been added to the bible and claimed to be the word of God. Attributing to God what is not from him is one of the greatest sins and blasphemies. Yet more than 80% of Chritianity is based on what Paul says. Not on what God says, not even on what Jesus Christ peace be unto him says. Christians today cant even agree on what the name of God is, let alone on the pilars of Christianity. There is a reason why there are more than 30000 different churches around the world and 100's of different denominations. This alone shows you how they are misguided away from the light of God.
In the Quran Allah says in a Surah Al-Saff verse 14: Oh those who believe, be Allah's glorifiers just like when Isa son of Marriam (Jesus son of Mary) said to the Nasareen: who are my supporters in the cause of Allah. The Nasareen (deciples) said we are the glorifiers of Allah. Then part of the children of Israel believed and a part disbelieved. We then supported the believers over their enemies and so they became victorious.
In the same chapter verse 6: "And remember when Isa, son of Marriam said: oh children of Israel ! I am the messanger of Allah unto you, comfirming the Torah, the one I have in between my hands, and giving glad tidings of a messanger to come after I depart, whose name shall be Ahmed. But when he came to them with clear proofs, they said : this is plain sorcery".7. And who does more wrong than the one who invents a lie against Allah, while he is invited to Islam (Submission to the will of Allah).

Regarding Pilate being a cruel Roman leader incapable of the portrayal of him in the synoptic gospels as wanting to free Jesus, the following pertains. In the synoptic Gospels it was written that 2 Roman soldiers, one a commander of a division, sought the healing of either a son or a ill servant. Jesus performed the miracle and this information I am sure went back to the Roman authorities that there was at least one Jew in Palestine that meant no harm or overthrow to the Roman authority. Assassins and terroristic acts against the Romans was an everyday occurrence in that period. So Pilate, knowing that Jesus had helped some of his military was hesitant to put him to death. Read your bible!

Pilate succeeded where others before him failed. Pilate got the Jewish leaders to exclaim, "We have no king but Ceasar." Cruel? Maybe by today's standards, but, for his time, he was a shrewd politician. The high priest was appointed by AND removed by the Roman Prefect. Since Caiphas was high priest when Pilate arrived and was not removed from office until after Pilate was recalled to ime, it shows that Caiphas collaborated with the Prefects.

on 'killing the prophets' mentioned in the lecture:
"Which of the prophets have NOT your fathers killed?" (Matthew 23:34-38) (Luke 11:48-50)
After the death of Solomon the state of the Israelites was split into two: the State of Judah with its capital in Jerusalem, and the State of Israel with its capital in Samaria. This was followed by a series of wars between the two States so that the State of Judah sought the assistance of the Aramacan State of Damascus against its own kinsmen.
Hamani the seer went under G's direction to Asa the king and rebuked him. Instead of rectifying his behaviour, Asa was so angry that he put the seer in the stocks. (See 2 Chronicles 16: 7-10.)
Elijah denounced the Jews for their worship of Baal and invited them to retun to monotheism, Ahab, the king of Israel pursued him for the sake of his pagan wife so that he had to take refuge in the mountains of the Sinai peninsula (1kings 19:14)
king Ahab imprisoned Micah (737-696bce) for no other reason than that of speaking the truth. King Ahab ordered that he should be given only bread and water. (See 1 Kings 22: 26-7) killed by Jehoram
When idol-worship and moral corruption became prevalent in Judah and the Prophet Zechariah raised his voice against them, he was killed by Jehoash, stoned to death in the very court of the Temple. (See 2 Chronicles 24: 20-22) As punishment, the priests of the Temple could no longer see the apparitions of angels, nor could make divinations with the Ephod, nor give responses from the Debir.
When the Israelite State of Samaria was wiped out by the State of Jerusalem, the Prophet Jeremiah deplored the condition of the Israelites. He warned them that it was time they set about mending their ways otherwise they would face an even more calamitous end than that of Samaria. The response to this was abuse and curses: he was beaten, imprisoned, put in the stocks and lowered by ropes into a cistern, where he was left to die of hunger and thirst. He was also accused of various crimes, including treason and conspiracy. (Jeremiah 15: 10; 18: 20-3; 20: 1-18, 36-40) later stoned to death at Tahpanhes Egypt.
Amos when he denounced the widespread errors and corruption in the State of Samaria and warned of the evil consequences that follow such misdeeds, he was condemned to exile and told to pursue his prophetic task somewhere beyond its frontiers. (Amos 7: 10-13.) tortured by Amaziah the priest of Beth-el (Amos 7:10) and killed by his son.
John the dipper protested against the acts of moral corruption that were brazenly practised in Herod's court, the ruler of Judah, first put John into prison, then had him beheaded at the request of a dancing girl, and had his head set on a platter and presented to the girl. (Mark 6: 17-29)
The priests and political leaders of Israel ultimately became inflamed against Yeshua, who criticized them for their impiety and hypocrisy and invited them to return to true faith and righteousness. It was this which prompted them to prepare a false case against him (John 10:33) and persuade the Romans to assign a death sentence. When the Roman governor Pilate asked them which of the two Yeshuas (Christ or the notorious brigand) should be released on the occasion of the feast, they jews clamored for the release of Yeshua barAbbas and for the crucifixion of Yeshua barJoseph (Matthew 27: 20-6).
Isaiah sawed in half by Judah king Manasseh
Ezekiel (622-570bce) killed in the land of the Caldeans (SE Mesopotamia)
jews have a habit of ignoring, imprisoning or killing their Prophets.

    • @AnHebrewChild

It was Herod himself who directly ordered the beheading of John Baptist. But Paul was a "Herodian," a relative/kin of Herod. We learn this from Paul's own pen (Romans 16:11.) Being cousin to Herod, a young Paul might very well have been a guest at Herod's birthday dinner (Mark 6:21, Matt 14:6) God only knows.
What we do know though, is that some three years later, Yeshua / Jesus was killed by the Pharisees & Herodians who'd been long plotting against him (Matt 2:4, Mark 3:6, Luke 13:31).
Matthew 26:3 *Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas, And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.*
At that very time, a certain young Pharisee "Saul" would have been in Jerusalem with his "Rabbi," the chief Scribe named Gamaliel. In Acts 22:3, we hear this from Saul i.e. Paul's own mouth.
*And Jesus saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant.* Luke 19:22

Regarding Christianity being a concoction created by the Romans, history does not show that. Christians experienced waves of deep persecution by the Romans as well as in the early times, from the fellow hebrews themselves. Still it persevered and grew to the point it could not be ignored regardless of the number of martyrs slaughtered. The composition of the synoptic gospels and their formalization by Constantine really did not give a great blueprint for a religion for a superpower. "He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword, turn the other cheek when hit, etc" is not the kind of stuff you want to inculculate into the minds of your subjects if you wish to raise fearsome standing armies. It could have been, in fact, a contributory cause of the eventual complete collapse of the Roman empire. Hitler himself was quoted as saying he wished his German people were Muslim and not Christian, since a holy was entirely an accepted religious dogma in Islam and he would have been more easily able to motivate his subjects into total war. As it was, Germany did not go into total war status until 1943-44 and then it was too late.

I've been a Christian for 50 years. Not until 4 years ago did I actually start studying the way we were instructed. Establish truth by 2 or 3 witnesses line upon line precept upon precept. Rightly dividing truth (from lies) as warned by Jeremiah 8.8. The biggest witness being the types in the OT and prophets and catholic church history. The more I studied the more I discovered that the NT is highly corrupted along with major mistranslations in the KJV, which is mostly what I studied from.
I came to the exact same conclusion, Jesus is actually James (real name is Jacob). It was rewritten using James' teachings. It took me 4 years 6 hrs a day and down hundreds of rabbit holes but I finally got it. I didn't even use outside sources other than church history concerning two councils. Its ALL in the bible for those who want to find it.
Like "Jesus" said The kingdom has been hidden like treasure in a field. Narrow is the way and FEW be that find it.
He also warned about a false christ coming in his name claiming to be the christ and a god-man. An abomination. Matthew/Revelation. He wasnt kidding. Thats just two of the lies. There are many more. Unfortunately, the whole congregation was deceived by another gospel and another christ soon after John died. Most think that's a future event, but its a past event that's already happened. These are the days of the Revelation of Jesus Christ (last book in the bible) which is all about the false christ. It tells you the answer in the name of the book. Jesus is not the messiah. Hes the false messiah. James was the true messiah. Thats why you dont hear much of him. All his teachings were actually rewritten as Jesus. Also, John the Baptist is also John the apostle and John the Revelator. The 1/2 brother of "jesus" (james). Thats why they were always together at every major event. Thats why Jesus called John the son of Mary at the cross. There are thousands of hidden clues for those willing to dig for it.
You may ask why it happened like this and why God allowed it. Thats a whole different conversation but God himself said in the OT that HE would send a STRONG DELUSION and he kept his word.

Regarding the historical Jesus, Eiseman and the rest rely on the absence of Josephus accounting of any record of Jesus for the period. Josephus was a rebel leader originally against the Romans, when defeat was inevitable he was the last of his group to commit suicide, which he didn't and he befriended the Romans as a traitor to the hebrews. As a result shouldn't one question the authority and detail of his accountings, and any errors of omission? It has already been shown that his historical accounts are questionable and he took liberties with the truth, when some of his historical writings did not jive with other historical writing where overlap occurred. And, it could be possible that he omitted any accounting of Jesus since the Christian movement, while in its infancy, was growing and persecuted by all sides. Furthermore, it could have been out of deference to protecting the infant Christian movement that he did this, but more likely he omitted it since he was hated by most of the surviving hebrew population for his betrayal. With the salt in that wound, an accurate description of a contrary movement that was not supporting his original rebellion that he was part of would not be expected.
And the absence of any other writings was clearly because the whole situation in Palestine and Jerusalem was in chaos and no one, who would be allowed to write anything about it, knew what had happened in the preceding events leading to the destruction of Jerusalem.

    • @exillens

Listen, there's no eyewitness or contemporary accounts of jesus anywhere by anyone. Paul is the first person in the NT to even talk about jesus and mentions hardly anything about jesus's life in his epistles. The whole divine savior concept about jesus is pretty much Paul using some Philo if you ask me. James and his brother were more than likely just hardcore, messianic jews leading a movement that the NT writers hellenized and whitewashed. The jesus Paul was writing about is some mystical Hermetic character he judaized a little. Water baptisms of John the Baptist and a man named jesus doing miracles and dying for sins is totally heretical and foreign to the OT and judaism then and now. James and his brother were probably just one zealot jewish cult leaders amongst many. People like Paul and obviously Josephus felt the need to conform and compromise with Rome in anyway they knew how obviously. And presenting a Roman friendly version of judaism was clearly their plan for better or worse. Who knows? Maybe they felt Jews could take over Rome in the long run by giving the Romans a taste of judaism to assimilate to. But that obviously would've backfired as well as Romans Romanized it even more throughout the millinia

    • @greatgambino
      @greatgambino 3 года назад

@@exillens "Roman friendly"? I don't think that is exactly true. There are multiple accounts by Roman historians of the very early Christians stubbornly resisting any homage to Roman gods and thereby being put to death. Nero blamed his faltering rule on the early Christians and started the pogrom against them. There is a lot of evidence of Rome's distaste for Christianity up until the canonization of the New testament and the reign of Constantine.
Now certainly an argument can be made that all the writings that may have conflicted with Roman thought and rule were excluded from the new testament, that I could maybe believe.
you said, "For the transgressions of My people He was stricken."

@@greatgambino Is that last line a quote from Isaiah? Yes, christians had their times of being unpopular but little historical evidence to suggest it was to the degree apologists speak of. What christianity did however was make jesus a more hellenized figure Romans and gentiles could get down with. They gave jesus traits and narratives familiar to worshipers of Roman gods and we know Paul made it a complete open house with with his message of not needing to be circumcized or adhere to Torah and eat what you want. Original christians were more than likely a jewish doomsday or revolutionary sect(sectarian at the very least) that were still Torah observant. Hence the riff between James and Paul followers that play out in narratives throughout the gospels and NT. Even Paul was expecting jesus to return in his lifetime and kept having to adjust his theologies throughout his letters the longer it took and questions from his followers came up. 1st Thessalonians is the oldest book written in the NT by scholarly consensus and in it is the purest message of Paul we have. It's before all the questions, pushback, competition and doubts we see him addressing in his following letters. It's almost like he was going ad hoc throughout his other letters to address questions. Like (you said jesus was coming any day now but my believing friend or family member just died, so what will happen to them?) Then it's as if Paul is scrambling with a the dead will rise first then we'll be taken up in the clouds comeback. He even switches up from bodily resurrection and rapture to spiritual resurrection and rapture theology which is why christians to this day can't agree on exactly what this apocalyptic process is supposed to be. I find the polemic origins of the most popular and influential religion in the world today fascinating

The story is wrong Jesus is the teacher of righteousness and the Sadducees were the evil priests that killed him. Christianity did form from the Essenes but there was more then one group. The Alexandrian group is the source of all gnosis and mythology. What a joke Paul never invented anything? There is a document called the Testimony of Benjamin that prophecies that one from the tribe of Benjamin would be the one chosen to interpret the meaning of the messiah for the world. His writing and story would be put in scriptures and He would be the leader of the synagogue of the Gentiles. Look into that controversy how the Jews tried to minimize that document but it was shown to be in the material found in Hebrew in the Qumran caves. It is the last section of this work. Did the apostles understand why Paul was chosen. The section of 2nd Peter is argued Peter never wrote it, but it has a complement to Paul about his writings which is the same word for scripture and the things hard to understand is exactly what Paul explained about the priesthood of Melchizedek. If you don't understand that you don't understand the cosmic judgement and new creation of the kingdom established on a new earth in which righteous dwells and all the people of the nations are invited to this party and David and the apostles are gonna be there too. That is what revelation of Christ given to John is telling us. The churches are the times of the gentiles and when the church era is done it moves back to Jewish Apoclyticism and grand finale of the conflict. The 7 churches are historic and prophetic in describing the synagogue of the gentiles vs the satanic evil cosmic powers synagogue of Satan
Law could never save anyone and it was needed a new covenant with a new priesthood and a new law. After reading James Tabors and now looking at this material I don't think they are helping. I looked at the dead sea scrolls I don't see James mentioned at all? He wasn't the leader of the Zadok priests and Essene community. You can see that most of the Essene's were part of John the baptizer's disciples and then they became Jesus disciples. The way is a shorthand or Essene practices. James never believed during Jesus ministry and the only thing that is made clear is Mary is a mother and not a virgin and the doctrine of the immaculate conception is nonsense. To say James established a more profound level of righteousness then Jesus is stretching things.
The marginalizing of our Hebraic roots is a crime and which is why we lost the meaning of grace by the second century. The hesed love or covenant faithfulness of the God of Israel is real but it was meant to go to all the nations or goyim. You cannot understand certain things without being in the Hebrew mindset. They don't live in dualism but have a unity to their thinking not breaking apart realities but hold stuff together and think it together. You cannot know something by breaking it apart and dissecting it. There need of critique but not on Paul's part. Ephesus recognized who were apostle but the lost the agape love they had at first and we never recovered the banquet tradition that the had and we lost.

Sir, don't compare Muhammed to Paul...Muhammed Quran never said Jews killed all the prophets, it says killed some of the Prophets, denied some in the end they believed in teaching of one Moses. There's a difference there..as usual they have to stub the Quran...
Jews like all Allah is creation, have a good genuine loving people and they have evil one.
So don't talk about what you don't know Sir.
Surah (Al Maidah) 5 VERSE 70

to them messengers. Whenever there came to them a messenger with what
their souls did not desire, a party [of messengers] they denied, and
    another party they killed..

Eisenman attacks Paul and Christianity as being false because it is not jewish enough. Someone needs to let him know its terrible to be acusing everyone of being anti-semitic. He wants you to make a "leap of faith" to believe that Steven is really James. He says that story has ben re-written yet he attacks the (Joseph and Asaneth/Jesus and Marie Magdalene) story. He said he can't make a "leap of faith" and believe that story could be coded (re-written). I believe Eisenman can be informative but is not a gifted scholar. He has an agenda and is obviously pushing his book. 👎

Dr. Eisenman knows better than anybody what it means to be Cassandra. His book ‘James, the Brother of Jesus’ is long and difficult and not very well written. He is so keen to make his ideas correct and honest that it suffers from the sin of scrupulosity. He is correct about everything, but…
The paradigm shift in New Testament studies that really shines light on the first century belongs to Joseph Atwill and Cliff Carrington and Kenneth Humphreys. They state plainly what Eisenman tiptoes around. Eisenman tiptoes because he wants to maintain his scholarly reputation, and perhaps, because he is Jewish, believes impenetrable scholarship is necessary before presenting such a devastating critique of Christianity.
The questions are: Who wrote the New Testament? Who was their audience? What was their motivation? The answers are: Herod Agrippa (Jr.), Tiberius Alexander (Jr.), and a group of Roman aristocrats and intellectuals including emperors Vespasian and Titus. Their audience was the large slave population that had converted to Judaism so they could have a day off. The Romans wanted a single religion for the empire to make it easier to rule, and establish obedience and conformity. The “Jews”, Herod and Alexander, wanted a replacement for the income and wealth they obtained through the temple, and which they thought they deserved because they had sided with the Romans during the war and had contributed to the Roman victory.
The early church was a forgery factory. That’s a lot to swallow for a conventional, contemporary Christian.

He is incredibly knowledgable but In a 1,000 pages you are bound to have some errors, and unfortunately some of these are factual errors and he makes quite a few. small one - John Allegro ‘was a Protestant’, no he was a probationary Methodist, big one- the Teacher of Righteousness was James, the brother of Jesus. Nonsense, the Tzadek pioneered Qumran and was long dead before James. This chronological anomaly does’nt worry E

Unfortunately he suffers from intectual constipation and cannot stick to one idea, but needs at least 1,000 pages to. make his points. I would Welcome his comments on my version of events published in my books and documentaries and tv programmes. The gospel of Jesus is the gospel of Paul. Here's why I do not believe in Jesus or in his resurrection
If I were Joseph of Arimathea, what do you think I would do if after taking Jesus down from the cross, I found that he was still alive albeit in a coma? The answer is simple: I would stage a mock burial as I can't possibly hand him back to the authorities to be crucified a second time. For this I would need help from James (Jesus' brother). The body I bore covered in linen to the cave-tomb wasn't a dead Jesus but his living brother, James! Meantime, I would have my friend Nicodemus tend to Jesus' wounds in some secret place! James would then let himself out of the cave-tomb sometime in the night! Incidentally, this was why the cave was chosen for a tomb as burying James in the ground would have killed him! This is the secret that Joseph of Arimathea, Nicodemus, James, Mary (Jesus' mother) and Jesus took with them to their graves! This also accounts for Jesus meeting Saul on the road to Damascus, resulting in the latter's conversion. Sadly, in fleeing Israel, Jesus was leaving his disciples in the lurch! But how do I know that it was James who took Jesus' place in the cave-tomb? Here's the evidence - straight from the bible itself!
    1. James never spoke of Jesus' virgin birth, miracles and ascension to heaven! Like Jesus, James preached no gospel! All that Jesus allegedly preached in the Gospel of John (which was the last of the 4 gospels written) were works of poetic imagination as many of these key teachings were not mentioned in the other 3 gospels! For instant, the raising of Lazarus from the dead was never mentioned in the other 3 gospels!
    2. James preached that "faith (i.e. faith in Jesus) without works is dead." This is a sharp contrast to what Peter, John and Paul preached i.e. one is not saved by works but by faith alone.
    3. James warned of Christians whose tongues are like the rudder of ships i.e. they make mountains of molehills. He was referring to Peter, John and Paul and their claims that Jesus rose from the dead! 4. If Jesus was in the tomb, he would have been too grievously hurt, nor have the strength, to roll away the stone! It would take a person free of serious injuries to do that.
    5. In the Book of Acts, Peter and Paul, rejecting the need for Gentile believers to be circumcised, criticized James for teaching that Gentile believers should be circumcised and abstain from blood and food offered to idols i.e. James was a devout follower adherent of Judaic practices.
    6. Jesus himself said that he came to fulfill the law, and not to destroy it i.e. he too sought to fulfill Judaic laws.
    7. Jesus was crucified not because he preached he was the Son of God (he in all probability never did - it was the gospel writers who proclaimed him to be the Son of God since they believed God raised him from the dead) but because he was critical of the hypocrisy and corruption of the pharisees and Sanhedrin.
    8. Jesus' own family did not believe that he was the messiah or son of God.
    9. Jesus had to hide each time the Jews sought to harm him. After his so-called resurrection, he fled Israel for good (and met Saul on the road to Damascus) and was never seen or heard of again in the land of Israel.
    10. If indeed Jesus were the way, the truth and the life, billions of unbelievers would go to hell. How then can one say that God is merciful when He doesn't seem to understand what forgiveness is! James and Jesus understood this better than the gospel writers, Peter, Paul and John.
I am a born-again atheist. I seek only to know the truth. Years of pondering on the bible led me to my hypothesis that Jesus survived the cross. I rest my case.

He parses this verse and that from Paul- totally out of context, for his hatred of Paul. BECAUSE HE REJECTS THE GOSPEL OF PAUL- as a Jew/ Eisemann has biases, and struggles with his own eternal future. I have read James, I have read writings about James, and James is the one that wanted to go back to the Law, WHICH NO ONE CAN MEET, (peter-Acts-15)_ and his (James) sacrifices for ther FAITH cannot stand up to Paul's the one who made himself the head of the Church. HOW DO YOU FIGURE THAT DR E. He just said, that James is the head- ON WHAT GROUNDS!! You give the answer in your larger book= THat James may have been the "Oppositional Priest" and no one is to speak against the priest- MYSTERY SOLVED ACCORDING TO YOUR OWN THEORY, DR E. Now if they all respected him why does Luke mention James, the head of the Church "THREE TIMES" !! Name the "miracules of James, why is he the head of the Church"? CERTAINLY NOTHING ABOUT BEING JESUS' BROTHER.
