I recently moved to the east coast for college and it made me realize how much i took living in california for granted. i miss the sun on my face and the salty air and how laid back everyone is this song brings back so many memories :(
Living on the east coast for 15 years taught me otherwise. I won't go into detail because it'd take up an entire book but California is the best place in the nation hands down. Better people, better sites, economy, science and tech. Everything you want is here.
I love this so much! I will miss the reverberation but you can hear how really great Bethany's voice is! Love the use of the ukulele and it's about the best place ever!!
This statement can't be given enough thumbs up. I've spent a good deal of time in California over the years, and seen it decline incredibly. Thing is, the remaining [non-natural] good qualities about the State didn't get that way from people walking around sounding like bad advertisements, but by people who had the intelligence to point out problems and correct them with bright, bold, and original solutions. That so many Californians no longer get this, explains a lot.
Had this song on repeat for the past 2 weeks, thanks to Hayley Williams from Paramore tweeting about them and me randomly just following them for the hell of it.....might just have to get myself a ticket for Mancheser Ritz :)

Dude me tooooo. I am from Manhattan 17 blocks away from times square. I was just rocking out to this song with a reef that has bells built inside of it cuz I don't have a tamborine lol. Sounds St. Nick-ish with bells lol. :) NYC... so relatable.

Exactly. They changed into something more mature, and fans just can't learn to deal with it. But if there's any band to complain about changing too much, it's not Best Coast. Lots of bands have drastically changed their style between albums, usually to a much higher degree than they did. And personally I love when a band does that. I don't want to hear a band stagnate by doing the exact same things they did before.
Something new from them is a pretty good thing because even though I love me some Best Coast way too many of the songs sound alike. Example: "When I'm With You" and "Crazy for You"

It's just one single, maybe she is experimenting more, and it just doesn't reflect in this particular song. I love it, it's great I think, don't judge before the full album comes out! Best Coast is still the greatest everr.
