On May 12, 2018- I bought the 2017 Pacifica Touring L Plus.... All I can say is WOW WOW & more WOWs. It's perfect for my family. Its such a smooth ride. TVs, leather A+
Sonia Rodriguez do u notice there is a hick up when u come to a stop or using brake then step on gas seem to choke up on gas.it is feel differently from my normal car.
And here we are, finally in 2020, and I've found a touring l plus with 72k miles for under $20k. Love these vans but had to wait for them to age a bit before I'd purchase one.
I just purchased a 2017 touring L plus, my wife had been looking at 3rd row SUVs because she wanted more room with the grand kids and we also have a child that's college bound but she wouldn't touch a minivan with a ten ft pole, I showed her the pacifica and she fell in love! Secretly I had been looking at both the Pacifica and the Toyota Sienna for a while and the Pacifica with its looks and tech also with its stow and go seating, i couldn't beat it, love the vehicle and thanks for the Video!
That center seat in the second row is a nice option, but it would have been even better if the captain chairs had armrest on the inside when the center seat is removed. As it stands, the center seat is the armrest for the captain chairs. No center sear, no armrests. This is an issue that Honda corrected with the 2018 Odyssey, versus the previous generation.
Update: FYI, for those who might be considering the the 2017 Pacifica Touring Plus in 2022, realize that you won't be able to use most of the uconnect services because it's equipped with 3g cell service and services like mobile hotspot, slacker, etc. Will not work and are not upgradable. Everything else works great though.
It's kinda funny you mention that because when I was selling cars it was near impossible to sell a new car that was plain and simple without a bunch of options. Even people on a tight budget would refuse a new car if it wasn't loaded... they would rather buy a used vehicle with more options than a new vehicle with less.
MikesCarInfo That's ridiculous. I would rather take a bone stock less tech less crap car then a fully loaded one with more stuff to break. Maybe I'm just a simple guy but I have a Versa with manual everything except the tranny and I absolutely love it. I don't have any tech or any problems with it. It's a fantastic car and I think car manufacturers should produce more. It would definitely lessen the in cabin distractions and have a more enjoyable driving experience. Just my opinion. Oh and great review btw.
I am about the same way. When I purchased my Challenger I wanted the super basic model. I added a spoiler and remote start so now it is just perfect for me.
MikesCarInfo Awesome! As long as you're happy man that's all that matters! I too, wouldn't mind a couple niceties such as the remote start but yeah too much is too much. I always say, when you have stuff that you'll never use it's always one more thing to break.
Great review, Mike! The Pacifica sure is a great buy in this segment! Personally, it looks among the best in its class and has Chrysler's unbeatable UCONNECT system. Plus, those Stow and Go seats, it's hard to go wrong with this vehicle. The only area of concern may be the reliability of this vehicle since Chrysler hasn't really been on a roll of producing reliable vehicles. Keep up the great work, Mike! Also.... I will be posting my 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback review around 11:00-ish today, so feel free to check it out anytime you please! GO MIKE! You are truely one of the best car reviewers out there! -DriveAndBeDriven "The Quest To Record The Best!"
serious question here. what is so unbeatable about the Uconnect system that doesnt include Android auto and makes you pay for services just to use part of the system?
william ingram jr The responsiveness and the overall easy to use nature of the system... It is by far one of the most intuitive infotainment systems you can get in the market. That is if you can live without Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I do agree with you though... The one thing it is seriously missing is AppleCarPlay and Android Auto. :-( Those additions would really edge out the system. Luckily, rumors are saying that FCA should be offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger/Challenger, the Pacifica and a few other vehicles throughout the FCA line up, in the coming years. Thanks for replying! :-) -DriveAndBeDriven "The Quest To Record The Best!"
DriveAndBeDriven thanks for the reply. yes I thought I read the new 300 has Android auto now. it's not too much of a deal, I'm still going to use my phone mounted on the dash. plus Google just released Android drive which I think is spot on.
Nice. I use a wheelchair and recently bought the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica in a Braunability wheelchair conversion. Terrific vehicle, you would never know it did not roll off the line directly from Chrysler. That would make a good review sometime.
can you review the 1: 2017 mercedes sl65amg 2: 2017 bmw 760li 3: 2017 dodge power wagon laramie 4: 2017 lexus lx570 5: 2017 range rover SVautobiography 6: 2017 range rover sport SVR
The seats seem kind of thin, how comfort wise would they be on long trips. also do any of the minivan seats lay flat so a passenger could lay down for a nap while on the move. also, I was told by an owner of one is with the seats down you could get a sheet of plywood in there. Is the Odyssey just as large? Thanks, Mike like you're videos. trying to pick between Honda, Chrysler or Toyoda
Hey mike I was wondering do you know when the 2017 Honda Odyssey is coming out? because I'm very close to buying a 2016 but I don't want to buy it and next thing You know it comes out a month after I buy it. Thanks for the Pacifica review.
very low. 5.1 inches. lower than the T&C. I think only the Odyssey sits lower (4.7 if I recall). Sedona sits at 6.7 being the highest and the Sienna at 6.1 if memory serves me well.
I was sold halfway through this video. And I'm 20 without kids. But I am absolutely in love with this

@@kmphotographyproduction6370 that's because your engine shuts off, then starts up again when you press the gas pedal
I just got a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L Plus the other day and it's soo incredible!
@aiden roose the battery is having some problems at the moment but besides that it's been great!
And here we are, finally in 2020, and I've found a touring l plus with 72k miles for under $20k. Love these vans but had to wait for them to age a bit before I'd purchase one.
Those last owners drove a lot 😧

My dream Chrysler minivan! Great job bro.
The most thorough review. I have ever seen. Many thanks for this review. I believe I will buy one of these. Thank you!
You are the Detroitborg in the automobile world!
Wow that is a great compliment... thank you :)
Gideon F yes I agree

Yes they are the same and you are correct. I just read the label on your video. Just looks darker..
Great video!
my son loves your pacifica videos he wants one so bad lx touring touring l touring l plus limited and hybrid
That's great Christine tell him I said hi :)
Do you plan on getting one in the future?
Fantastic in depth review 👍I want one of these for my rental for my trip to Orlando
also, can you do a Sedona? I am comparing those two.
I know this video old, But I buy this van 1 day.
That key fob is very nice. I like it over some others.
TBH this vehicle is too much. Too much tech, too much money, too much to break/go wrong. Why can't Chrysler make simple RELIABLE vehicles?

What does it mean when the 2020 Chrysaler Pacifica screen says: Key fob not detected?
Either the key is not inside the vehicle with the door shut or the battery in the key is not working.
Could you do a review on the Rogue One Version of the 2017 Nissan Rogue
It is a very nice car but only one problem it is not in the UK market which is really bad
Does this have a cd player behind the screen? Or does the blu-ray work as one?
Does this model have Apple CarPlay? And what is the difference between Touring-L Plus then Touring L Plus
Mine has a storage shelf where this one's spare type is wtf
How do the third row passengers get back there??
very very nice car
and you are amazing
thank you
i love your video: can you do a video of a grand marquis or a crown victoria :)

Late Spring/Early Summer - I do work at a dealership, so I hear all the 411. I'll be filming a video of the 2016 and 17
ThatGearHead oh so when are they going reveal it? I heard they are redesigning it.
They should be revealing it in the next coming weeks. Yes, it'll be a complete redesign
I thought it would be at the LA auto show
We would've seen it already if they waited for the LA Autoshow
Pacifica went transformation from being SUV to mini van
GoodDay magica! :0
Decent review, but I wonder why mostly everyone leaves out showing the spare 🤔
13:19
This is not molten silver but the Granite cristal metalic
36:44 Granite Crystal is a darker color.
If I had to do it all over again, I would buy a Kia Carnival. Oh, wait, I did buy a Carnival!
Does this come in black or blue?
Yes
Check out the colors here: www.chrysler.com/2017/pacifica/index.html
Thanks 😇
How do u sit off the road?
How high
very low. 5.1 inches. lower than the T&C. I think only the Odyssey sits lower (4.7 if I recall). Sedona sits at 6.7 being the highest and the Sienna at 6.1 if memory serves me well.
