How to install U-Hual Trailer Hitch on 2020 Hyundai Tucson AWD (Same for all models)

- In this video, I am showing you how to install the trailer Hitch on a 2020 Hyundai Tucson. It is the same for all models of Tucson and it's very easy to install.
Tools needed:-
1. 17mm socket
2. Ratchet wrench
3. Torque Wrench
4. Trim panel removing tool or flat head screwdriver
5. 19mm socket (Optional)
6 . Prying bar

In Europe there is another model with a different grip. The muffler comes off extremely easily from two screws. The model for Europe removes the rear bumper but the exhaust not.
Great video! I was considering doing likewise with my 2020 Venue to tow a 12 foot box trailer that weighs 1500 pounds/2000 loaded. What are you towing & how does your Venue handle it? Really curious to know before I get myself in trouble!
Mine is able to tow an 8ft box trailer loaded no problem. It's rating is up to 4500LB so it should not be a problem.

Yes, you can. Just make sure it's proper tow capacity for your needs. Tucson maximum tow capacity is 4500lb.

Why do you use a 2" lowered ball? Your car is already low...
Actually, I am using it in reverse so It's 1" raising instead of lowering. It was the first time I put everything together for youtube when I recorded the video. Now I am using it in reverse.
Different body style on the 2022 Tucson. Is there anything cheaper than the $500 Hyundai hitch right now?
Check with U-Haul. They have hitch for less then $200.

You have to look at capacity of hitch. The one I installed is 4500LB.

Also look at Tongue weight limit for him hitch.
@@dollarattri This is not true, it depends on the size of the engine. The 2.4L 2020 Tuscon has a towing capacity of 2,000lbs. The 2.0L only has a towing capacity of 1,500lbs. Just because the hitch can support 4500lbs does not mean it's safe for your engine to handle that much.
