Helpful video - great tips! TY for sharing. Will need to try your recipes. It's fun to create with old greeting cards and the tins are absolutely beautiful.
Such a good video that I've watched twice all the way through thus far! :) Helpful and carefully rendered - I shall be making the second concoction first to help with my tin travails! Much gratitude, bg
Hello! I enjoyed your video and will definitely mix up your recipe for the mod podge. I’ve been mod podging for years! Back before it was so widespread. Thanks for all your tips! ❤️💜💚
Did you use clear Matte? I used to make my own too, years ago, i dont rem what i used, lol. Today i just use pva watered down, but im not triple coating to create a sand able surface. I also love to use matte fluid medium as a topcoat and sometimes to apply tissue etc. Was fun to watch, thank you.
Yes! I do use actual Altoids tins as well. You can feel the embossing with regular paper but can minimize it by printing your are on 110# index stock, or using heavy weight papers. Have fun@
I mostly print on HP Premium 32 which is little sturdier than plain copy paper and it works well. Sometimes when using actual Altoids tins I also print on 110# card stock. It minimizes being able to feel the raised design of the Altoids tin.
Great to watch you create these tins and great ideas too
Thanks so much 😊
I love the birds! I just purchased them! Thank you.

Are you asking about the acrylic polycoat? I used Gloss finish - but it still came out matte in the end which works for me!
I have the same dated paper from a yard sale.
then what are you doing here? You have paper to improve! 🤣 (Happy creating!)
What about the old tins that have a raised top where the letters have a 3 D effect .. have you used any of them and had good results ?
Yes! I do use actual Altoids tins as well. You can feel the embossing with regular paper but can minimize it by printing your are on 110# index stock, or using heavy weight papers. Have fun@
Do you print the designs for the tins on cardstock or plain copy/print paper?
I mostly print on HP Premium 32 which is little sturdier than plain copy paper and it works well. Sometimes when using actual Altoids tins I also print on 110# card stock. It minimizes being able to feel the raised design of the Altoids tin.
