That includes the 600 and some odd dollar cost of the group b service he had done also.. so really, it's about 600 bucks for the front tires.. that's not bad
The ENTIRE CAR is a RIP. This car has been in the shop more than my 10yr old car pathetic. I don't care how much money I can make from videos at some point it will just become a burden. Why would I want my $90k car to be in the shop every other month. If not monthly... But tires are expensive, one tire for my car is a little more than $600 and that is not on a lowered vehicle.
Not sure if you read these but our W205 C63S’s don’t have camber adjustment. You need to fit K-Mac Camber kits to have any type of adjustment and this would most likely happened even if you weren’t lowered. Mercedes service centre won’t tell you this they just charge us for alignment and new tyres once a year.
Maaaan when you showed the tire with the belts showing I damn near had a heart attack because I KNOW those tires are expensive. I throw fits when my used tires go through that smh. But I’m glad you’re safe bro stay up! Can’t wait for that MKT review
Brother... I love your videos, but please stop recording yourself while driving. Distracted driving gives me a lot of anxiety and I hate seeing people put themselves in danger because they wanna text or record while driving. I love you and your videos, but I think it would be SO much better, and safer, if you pick up and always use a holder or whatever. Just something that sticks on your dashboard or window that will record for you so you can keep both hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. Love the videos, keep them coming. Hope I dont sound like an asshole 🤞🏻😣😁
Too low? TOO LOW!? There's no such thing as TOO low!!!! Just kidding. Scraping everything over the smallest pebble is a sign that you're too dirt nasty low...
my friend you're getting ripped of wen it comes to buying tires at the dealership. never ever buy from a dealership. when you got those rims did you brought those tires at the dealership? if yes, then you got it all wrong. trust me, buying your tires on ebay is a lot cheaper and no its not A bad thing, you can buy the same name bRand of tires for wayyyyy cheaper price than the dealership. those two tires should cost around 250 dollars. then you can get your wheel align somewhere else for cheap, the same align machine still good like the dealership. Mercedes dealership is using the brand Mercedes just to say its gonna cost a lot, but in reality Mercedes is just a car like any other car. you're only buying the brand not the car, just like an iPhone apple , your're only buying the brand not the phone its self.
dealerships are ripoffs especially a mercedes dealership brought my car in for an oil change, and watched them drain half of the oil and then put new oil in it
Replace both tires when you get a blow out on a used tire , spend the money and be safe. The tires should always be evenly worn on front and rear to avoid a problem. Leave the car stock for Pete’s sake ....it’s nice the way they make it from the factory.
Wow, Mike... the EXACT same thing happened to the right front tire on one of my cars today! Luckily, I had a brand-new set of tires delivered to my home last week. I didn't plan on putting them on today, though. My plan was to roll on my old tires for at least 3 more weeks.
Camber doesn’t kill tires as much as alignment does. Did you get alignment? Don’t confuse alignment with camber. Alignment is if the tires are either toed (pointed) in or out. I had a lowered Eclipse GSX and had -2 to -3 degrees of negative camber, but never had any problems with wear with an alignment.
wow service B is for brutal so they basically take 700$ for checking everything over...lol they will actually charge the same thing for pretty much all the models not just the c63. When you showed the white c63 was it just me or it looked very boring in white??? the black really makes it look better in my opinion. Some cars look better dark and some dont. as for your camber pretty much all German cars have camber from stock so lowering it without a camber readjusting tires will get destroyed I'm surprised your rears weren't as bad. I have an M3 with full racing suspension and had to adjust all 4 corners. Make sure you do all your research for the new tune so nothing happens to your car again from a mod good luck Mike!
I also wanted to add Mike that you need camber plates if they make them. If your car doesn't have camber adjustments you won't be able to fix your issue. so I would start checking for plates if they make some without having to buy a full coilover kit. I hope you see this msg
The whole sequence with the music and you playing musical cars in the street and driveway had me cracking up! Thanks for the laughs man! Keep up the good work
Low profile tires will continue to cause issues. They look nice but are no go anywhere. You haven't had those tires that long for there to be hardly any tread remaining. How many miles do you have on those tires?
Its not only the camber which would wear out the tires, its also the toe and caster changes. Get an alignment regardless of how you want the car to look, even without wheel or suspension changes you should get alignments regularly. And not just an alignment to make the steering wheel look straight, a proper to spec alignment. Its an AMG not a hoopty.
BTW - to fix your camber issues, check out the KMAC camber/castor kits. I did that to my AMGs and it really helps get the camber correct on lowered suspension.
Camber doesn't decrease at high speeds on race cars- negative camber is used to increase cornering grip as the contact patch shifts during cornering. Also negative camber alone wouldn't ruin your tires like this. You're likely to have a toe problem as well. Imagine your tires contacting the road like a angle grinder on a piece of steel.
Camber is for cornering. The tire will "flatten-out" putting the full tread on the road when cornering. Check out a NASCAR race; they can run into the same tire issue you did... albeit with much more catastrophic results!
Lol, that Vibe is your Prizm's younger cousin, if you didn't know. Made in the same factory, the current Tesla factory. Sister to the Toyota Matrix. Absolutely a great long running dependable car. Keep up the great work!
IMO toe out is the problem not the camber. Every time you work with suspension or steering the car has to be re-aligned. I do not recall who did the lowering job but….. if they did not do or recommend to do alignment it is a "not so professional" shop.
Always have your car aligned when you lower it. My wife found out the same way with her BMW 545i after lowering it and all four tires wore out unevenly in the inside like that. I’ll guarantee that your rear tires will wear out unevenly too if you haven’t had any adjustments done.
See if anyone makes adjustable camber plates for your Benz. A good align, ent shop would be able to get the camber back to stock setting once those are installed.
That’s why you get it aligned after you lower it. Although that amount of wear on the inner sidewalls only isn’t just because of the camber. I’ve run way more camber than that with zero abnormal wear.

The other day I finally had a chance to test new C Coupe FL 2019 and E coupe. My Hero 5 black was so annoying, terrible mic picking up random sounds of wind instead of my voice. Then I guess it started picking up wrong voice commands while I was talking in the review and it keeps stopping the video and taking burst pictures. That never happened before, but id did fell off as suction cup mount failed me twice! I had to use my iPhone camera while driving which is not safe but it gets better audio and picture. Mike can you do review only with the new iPhone? I do my reviews with iPhone 7 and driving parts with GoPro. P.S. if you guys could give me some internet love on my channel I would appreciate it. :)

Hey I have a c205 2017 4matic with 20” wheels. Do u think mine will rub with H&R lowering springs? I’d really appreciate your help as I just got the same springs but debating for my install tomorrow.
love the vlog. have a 2017 c63s coupe and had an issue with fast tire wear with daily driving. MB said it was due to bad alignment + the performance tires. Blaming on living in San Francisco where a smoothly paved street is rare. Compared to our compact suv (sq5) with same mileage and nowhere near tire replacement. Keep up the great content!
You have to make up your mind, do you want your car setup to run on a track or you do you want your car setup to run in the street. You can't have it both ways. There are potholes speed bumps road imperfections on the streets. With super size rims with skinny tires and a lowered suspension you're asking for trouble. But on the race track you're all good to go.
By the time you see a problem caused by you front camber setting it will be too late to stop. The tyre would not be round any more and you can not correct it by adjusting the camber then. It will be too late but I am sure you knew that. Don't be lazy, go have it adjusted pronto.

Keep up the good work my brother. I own a BMW M2 that I absolutely love and I gotta say that you inspire me to do so just by the way you treat your car. Amazing work man. Thanks and keep them coming.
my car is also lowered and cambered. But mine set of tires are not as bad as yours...and they are around 20K miles. I wonder... Have you been driving it aggressively every time with the car ??
Same thing happened to me when I upgraded my wheels and didn't get an alignment. Now, as soon as I swap out wheels I get an alignment. Lesson learned...
You gotta keep an eye on your tires so you can flip them and keep the tire life going, I’m much lower with a lot more camber and flipping tires gives them double the life. Always check everything
Aside from the look, which is hit or miss for some people, I personally like it; but it also lowers the center of gravity. Which generally means better, flatter handling.
Sure its great round a race track but on normal roads mods like lowering the suspension and low profile tyres are not good for normal road use. Uncomfortable on the road and very rickety feeling easier to buckle wheels and blow out tyres on potholes and of course these things are incredibly expensive when they do break.
Hey Mike not a hater, but I heard of a mechanic who's been doing it for 40 years and says Mercedes are absolute junk after about 5 years they start to have a lot of electrical problems excetera excetera excetera what are you going to do when you get to the five-year point just wondering thanks Mark
You should really check clearence on your suspension. I have a hard time believing that was just camber that caused the wear. Your tires look pretty uniform on the tread.
It's always tempting to have negative camber or to go for that "stanced out" look but then you're looking at buying new tires when you do a lot of "normal" driving. I don't think the camber would change (much) with higher speed driving - only in a road racing or autocross situation and then you're probably looking at different tires anyhow. 10,000 miles on those tires really isn't bad - they're not like 60,000 mile warranty tires you'd have for your old Fusion ;-)
I DIDN'T EVEN GET TO SIT IN MERCEDES E CLASS IN MY ENTIRE LIFE... BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE
Woah big fella, make sure you're not rubbing the strut or something else with the aftermarket size. that's a bit excessive to be camber.
I was thinking the same thing. Or, he has too much toe out. That will eat the inside of tires very fast and any driving will just eat the new tires.

Keep up the good work my brother. I own a BMW M2 that I absolutely love and I gotta say that you inspire me to do so just by the way you treat your car. Amazing work man. Thanks and keep them coming.
Thanks bud! Appreciate it!
my car is also lowered and cambered.
But mine set of tires are not as bad as yours...and they are around 20K miles.
I wonder...
Have you been driving it aggressively every time with the car ??
Great video Mike, thanks for bringing back the vlogs.
Same thing happened to me when I upgraded my wheels and didn't get an alignment. Now, as soon as I swap out wheels I get an alignment. Lesson learned...
What spring set up you run on that?
Hey Mike :) What Wheels and tires you use for c 63 in the winter/snow? Thanks a lot 🤗
that's probably the toe out that what's really eat the inside of tires from lowering the car with out alignment
Will you ever remove those fuel run decals from the AMG? They destroy the great look of the car.
@Guitar 1 Afraid I hadn't enough dope...
You gotta keep an eye on your tires so you can flip them and keep the tire life going, I’m much lower with a lot more camber and flipping tires gives them double the life. Always check everything
Why do people even lower it? You get more road noise, High risk of scratches, and it doesn't even look Good.
Because he thinks he is 15 I know it rides like shit
Aside from the look, which is hit or miss for some people, I personally like it; but it also lowers the center of gravity. Which generally means better, flatter handling.
Sure its great round a race track but on normal roads mods like lowering the suspension and low profile tyres are not good for normal road use. Uncomfortable on the road and very rickety feeling easier to buckle wheels and blow out tyres on potholes and of course these things are incredibly expensive when they do break.
Because he has a big head. His brain(or lack of) is closer to the road
better fuel economy, but the most common is looks or cornering
how many miles you drove ever since u bought ?
@AutoVlog toe in your front wheels if they're killing your camber. It's substantially helped my E63 4matic. Hope it helps
Gotta like how you kept the Prism inside your garage, probably embarrassing to have that car in your driveway XD
You had to do a lot of running back and forth in the rain. I guess you're getting your workout for the day, huh? lol
The part when you were rearranging your cars at home and the music......omg I was lmao........
Interiour of the E-Class is lit.
it was fun watching u move the cars around haha
Where did you get the front lip ?
It's always tempting to have negative camber or to go for that "stanced out" look but then you're looking at buying new tires when you do a lot of "normal" driving. I don't think the camber would change (much) with higher speed driving - only in a road racing or autocross situation and then you're probably looking at different tires anyhow. 10,000 miles on those tires really isn't bad - they're not like 60,000 mile warranty tires you'd have for your old Fusion ;-)
I don't thing this is a "too low" issue. I quess the alignement wasn't done right from the start
Agreed with your idea man. Thanks for sharing
