Creepy Bad Endings # 93

It's the third-longest Creepy Bad Endings video to date! Just goes to show that the biggest things come in the smallest packages...
Bad endings. I don't know about anyone else, but they terrify me. Just when the hero(es) thought everything was finally right, just when it looked like peace had finally returned to the world, something happens that, at best, creates a bittersweet victory and, at worst, spoils everything and the enemies win, despite everything that happened throughout your adventure. Bad endings don't give you any second chances, you screwed things up for everyone and you must pay dearly...

I knew I'd end up missing an ending... what exactly do I have against the number 97? Nothing, it's just an honest mistake. I included it at the start of this video to clear my conscience: ruclips.net/video/UIxslidaTPk/видео.html
It's alright! This is a very long video, it's normal for you to forget...
Fun fact: this game was released on mobile and pixelatto's bio on google play reads "we're the guys that made reventure, we're sorry."
Gotta love that cat that is there to greet us everytime a new adventure is about to start
Its what I call a forever adventure, endless fun am I right?
Shyguymask! I love you bro....
Fun fact: ending 24's reference is from the game Celeste which strawberries are the main collectible.
There was also a reference to Bomb Chicken
@Obama don’t care no i just pressed read more
@Obama don’t care the digging straight down could be a reference to minecraft though
Celeste hidden gem, I have it on Itch, Steam, and all 6 of my switches.
i also think the chicken of doom ending is a reference to the penguin of doom copypasta
Ending 39 is probably a Binding of Isaac reference, "Everything is Terrible!" is the 5th Mom's heart unlock
also because Isaac enters a chest, suffocates, and turns into a blue corpse.
yep it is
THANK GOD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT ISAAC
And the fact that he is crying in that specific ending
Whoa, didnt know that. Thats a neat ref honestly
I love how this game encourages you to fail with the promise of some genuinely funny descriptions.
It isn't stupid if It works
especially the one that tells you to not dig deeper
If you want a game with many bad endings there's always 428 Shibuya Scramble, it's a visual novel where you make decisions and each chapter features many bad endings depending on your choices. I think there are like 80 or so? And there are achievements for getting them all
oh god , i was playing this game yesterday and i was asking myself:
- What's The chances of whoisthisgit make a creepy bad endings of this game ?
- None probably.
oh how wrong i was in think that, god Help me.
Use that dark power wisely, it's your responsability
keep your power in check young pandawan
"Ash was capable of holding his breath for more than 10 minutes."
Eat you heart out, Guybrush Threepwood!
What?
@@wolfytronic It's a Monkey Island reference. Main character, Guybrush Threepwood has an ability to hold his breath for 10 minutes. You can drown him in the first game if you wait underwater more than 10 minutes and this is the only time he can actually die in the series.
@@teawizard374 entire series?
@@gvcvbbhvbbccxcvn Apparently you can also drown him in the fourth game but that's about it. You can *try* to drown him in the second game too, but near ten minutes, Guybrush gives up and goes back to surface.
Fun fact: When you play the game in an another language, the food is different. For example, when I played the game in french, the burger was replaced by a croissant, and playing in italian will be a pizza instead of a burger. ^^
Also, you missed ending 97... But I can't really blame you on this one, you did a lot of work in this video after all! =)
That's really cool.
Ending 97, eh?
What's that ending?
@@kfirnachum4928 Check out his latest video.
on Russian......... its Vodka
This is a lot like Crash Tag Team racing, where they break the monotony of the overworld by allowing Crash to kill himself everywhere he goes.
That’s not an exaggeration, he jumps eagerly into the jaws of death.
The chicken explosion may be a reference to another indie game from the 2000s, "Braid", where one of the metaphors was the Princess being an atomic bomb, and in the final secret ending if you're able to manipulate time to reach her with the main character, the Princess explodes, and then you walk back to the burning starting screen.
I REFUSE to believe I watched this almost a year ago!! This game is honestly amazing, and I'm glad Git showed it to us!!
Git, if you want yet another game with multiple endings were decissions are important then I recommend either Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, Stanley Parable or the Henry Stickmin Collection.
The Henry stickmin collection would be better for lovely good endings like in special Brovert ops or cleaned em' out
@@PikaSmasha he might do a special where he covers the fails in the game
@@88shrek There still aren't any creepy fails except for maybe corruptick
@@PikaSmasha he changed the series so that it doesn’t have to be creepy to fit into the genre, creepy bad endings has become a mix of just endings at all
see episode 73 where he uses etc
This game gives me henry stickmen vibes, where you also want to collect as many endings as possible.
I like a lot this kind of games which rewards one for searching all the possible outcomes
Stickmin*
It’s *STICKMIN*
Omg I made the TV Tropes page for this game (yes I go on TV Tropes what of it)
So seeing Git covering it in a CBE entry makes me all giddy and such inside
ETA: Useless Trivia fact: the game was originally titled "Lonk's Adventure" starring, well, Lonk.
(Also I've talked with the creator a few times, nice guy)
TV Tropes is my go-to site for when I want useless trivia about media with stereotypes and the like, so I personally have no qualms about you using TV Tropes.
Also, Lonk's Adventure? As in second cousin to HYAAAH?
@@SteelCrustacean The legendary hero from the humble town of Hyrule, PA?
@@ferdinandroig3460 Now I want a reimagining of Ocarina of time/Majora's Mask set in the modern era.
Honestly I like visiting tvtropes, I dunno, I just find it fun reading about tropes, especially when reading about tropes on a specific game/movie/show's page.
Maybe its cuz tropes are the building blocks of any story, and I enjoy dissecting story writing of different games/movies/shows despite having little writing experience.
@@pkmntrainerred4247 the site unironically uses an outdated slur to name a trope. the site is awful
Oh my goodness, a new entry in my favorite series that's over an hour long? How lovely~ This game carrying over endings and effects, updating the character model and story/names is great.
Thanks for all the content, ya git!
23:33 Collecting a strawberry on the top of a mountain is a reference to Celeste. Strawberries were a collectible that impacted what ending you got.
jump scare timestamps anybody?
22:10 princess scare 1:04:02 second princess scare 1:04:41 again that damn mimic 1:35:44 slight one.. 1:24:15 so much suspense... but no scare. 1:37:51 also in the princes lab no scare on the vid but in game its possible.
... i wonder what happens if you turn jumpscares off
I think the Mimic just eats you if you turn jumpscares off, without the screaming
Thank you for the warnings
@@endermenon4836 It does! I went for Relaxed Mode because I'm already dealing with enough stress irl right now and you just get munch crunched without the blood chilling scream.
I love you so much right now
May your pillow be always cool, good sir.
Ending 69 (Quick and Dirty!) brings Bushido Blade's mechanic where stabbing someone in the back gets a bad ending to mind...
So you love collecting endings and you have a fascination with bad endings, especially if they're relevant to the plot, huh? Then I have two words for you, my friend: Radiant Historia.
I really love how this game adds text after every ending to act like everything turned out in a way for the adventure to start again.
Ending 77 is probably a Fortnite reference. At the start of each match you and the other players are ejected from a flying bus.
Man
As if i didn't hate mimics beforehand
This game semented the hate even better
I think Ending #39 is a reference to The Binding of Issac. It's hinted at in the game's endings that Issac hides from his mother in the chest, only to end up suffocating to death. His body even turns blue like in the ending in this game (and is both the boss of the Chest level and a playable character called ???)
Ah yes, time for a new git movie! The ending theme of this game is gonna get stuck in my head like the Corpse Party one, isn't it.
That live a live reference at 37:19 was rather amazing.
In the words mr git said, not the game.
After seeing the 100th ending, the Dark Lord and the Hero easily getting together in a previous ending suddenly makes sense.
Mans just needed some self-love :(
34:41 oh that's absolutely a Binding of Isaac reference, down to the "Everything is Terrible!"
Reventure is a great game when talking about bad endings, since you get a new bad ending every second
1:43:55
You fool! That was no ordinary chicken! That was the Anti-Chicken, a complete opposite to the Chicken down to a subatomic level! One must never let the Chicken and Anti-Chicken touch, as the completely opposing states of matter trying to interact will cause a devastating explosion of energy strong enough to tear apart the very fabric of reality! The reason you got sent back to the title screen there is because there was no longer any world to go back to!
"There'll be some jumpscares along the way but I'm not gonna tell you where"
As the wise Kyle Broflovski once said, "you bastard!"
I was playing Reventure on the Switch when this video got released, which is an amusing coincidence. Anyway, it's good to see it be covered on CBE.
The hold my breath for over 10 mins thing was a The Secret of Monkey Island reference. The protagonist brags that he can hold his breath under water for 10 mins as he tries to get some pirates to accept him into their crew. He gets a chance to prove this and it is the one and only time you ever get to actually die in the entire series waiting over 10 mins underwater.
The dragon's horns always looked like eyes to me, and it makes him look very depressed
If you love a game like this, I recommend bad end theater. Your goal is to collect all 41 bad endings!
Nice warioware pfp
22:41 You’re right about the “Whoisthisgit takes on any kind of fear head-on”, but you’re also wrong too. Ever remember Donkey Kong 64’s Game Over screen?
I've spent a lot of time on this game, if that's not made clear by my pfp, and that's due to how it hooked be in with the unique concept and I enjoyed the game a lot. I then proceeded to contribute a bit over one hundred custom characters to the steam workshop, and i'm somewhat active within the community. Overall, while I don't consider it to be "favorite game of all time" material, it still left a lasting impression on me with it's charm.
Honestly this game makes bad endings seems like a joke. It reward you for every possible ending you can get which make bad endings more rewarding
I like dat pfp :o
the one dislike was the person who got jumpscared on max volume
...twice
Edit:Thrice
i love the random wholesome friendship of dragon and (hero name)
First off, love this video! Second off, the main character’s house looks like a semi-upgraded version of a simple Terraria NPC housing

Wanna make a quick correction, you dont need to hug the translators for the completion percent increase.
I think you mixed it up with a slightly different requirement.
Remember the greveyard where the graves of all the devs you killed reside? Thats at the waterfall area's left side. On the right side, right next to the graveyard's entrance, is the entrance to Pixelatto HQ, as shown in the video at around 1:45:12. This is where you can find the devs alive and working. Hug all the devs there to increase the completion percentage by 1%, not the translators found below the graveyard.
But considering how long this vid is and how long you must've had to work to make it, its understandable you'd mix some details up.
So dont worry, it's still a great vid!
I almost feel like an old man giving the hero a sword in Zelda could have been inspired by Obi Wan (or old Ben) Kenobi giving Luke his father's light saber in the first Star Wars film
1:44:09
I realized it's called reventure because the world is a loop I thought reventure was just a English word I didn't know since I'm German up to this point
i thought it was reventure because after an adventure finishes you just start it again
The Solaire at the end when it showed all of the heroes got a good kick out of me. Hooray!
I think the chicken explosion was some kind of reference to fnaf world where if two golden fred bears were on the same screen, the universe would end
I think the universe couldn’t handle two chickens together at the same time
May be a reference to another indie game from the 2000s, Braid, where one of the metaphors was the Princess being an atomic bomb, and in the final secret ending if you're able to manipulate time to reach her with the main character, the Princess explodes, and then you walk back to the burning starting screen.

Dark souls players: "Yes, a line so different, yet so familiar"
That one game with the Guinness world records for most endings: We have 100 ending to find
Reventure: Are you challenging me?
17:40 Ending 17 has random chance of happening when you use any of cannons, not just one in the castle.
28:50 Never has to eat? But he starves to death, if you fall into bottomless pit.
1:28:48 NO! Not the dragon! You monster!
I dont think its a random chqnce, it probably happens with the first cannon you enter.
19:55 Hero wins by doing absolutely nothing. What a guy.
Is lonk(the original name of Tim) Luigi? He has green clothing and wins by doing absolutely nothing.
@@luislopezconcha882 Maybe. ^^
I wonder if Allergic to Cuteness may be a reference to ASDF's Kitten Fight skit?
And in Soviet Russia, chicken eat you. Yes, old joke. No regrets, lol.
I swear the main leitmotif in Reventure's soundtrack is from a Pokemon game. Plus, a large Growlithe appears at 1:36:00 during the true ending (among various other cameos such as Bowsette beside the princess).
dude i love reventure and i actually completed the entire game last week and you upload this! awesome
i like the ending where you hug everyone and becoming friends wkth them
If this was mentioned in a comment earlier, then apologies for the repeat. But, although that still could be a long ways off, I feel like this particular game was a missed opportunity to be featured as CBE #100. A game with 100 endings for episode 100.
...then again, Lub Lub's wisdom isn't something we can comprehend. So perhaps it may blow that idea out of the water...xD
I had actually thought about holding this video off until then, but I have no idea when it will arrive and didn't want to wait.
@@whoisthisgit Ah, I figured you probably thought of that. Regardless, this was a very delightful episode! Well done! :D
this game almost feels like a shout-out to whoisthisgit
Ending #39 features somebody turning blue due to suffocation while locked in a chest, and the title of it is "Everything is Terrible!"
That sounds familiar.
In case you didn't get it, it's a reference to The Binding of Isaac.
will update this as i watch

4:06 Weird. I watch this kind of videos to be told depressing stories, so precisely I look forward to games I've NOT played
You might say it's a sense of Pride and Accomplishment
The fact that you don't know what fortnite is (the ending 77 reference) means your life is perfect
37:19 you thought you could sneak that Live A Live reference right by me, didn't ya
Imagine git changing the name of the series from creepy bad endings to "ending collector"
What came first? The chicken or the bomb? Well, the same answer as the original question: THE ROCKET-POWERED FIST!
1:06:38 Yes, this is a reference to **retch** Fortnite. In the game, you get loaded onto a flying bus at the beginning, & then drop out of it.
Atleast its better than the community of that *Points at Overwatch (Yes it has the most toxic community possible so direct your hate there)
Nice throwback to the one RPG you did a video on about the end in #46 of this series with the Dragon hug lol
Don’t worry, this comment isn’t a mimic.

I don’t know what you’re expecting. I said this wasn’t a mimic.

…I don’t know how I’m supposed to put a jump scare in a comment, so just pretend that there was a mimic here.
superash is like vandalier ash from vandal hearts
even the names are similar
How did I not think that reventure would show up on this channel
WAIT
YOU MADLAD YOU DID IT DIDNT YOU

6:12 I think it's the fact that Meta Knight feels the need to hide said cuteness behind a tough armored mask, like it's some kind of well-guarded secret of his.
"No-one must find out that I'm cute. NO ONE!"
Omg the third in the three long bad endings, now I contemplate watching the 999 video and corpse party video before this
1:06:41 @whoisthisgit Late reply, but that ending there, with the hot air balloon was a reference to Fortnite, an online shooter which I could describe as a blend between Call of Duty and Minecraft! XD
Another bad ending that gets creeper connotations in a different showing of the character it effects the most
Is the Conquest Ending in HyperDimension Neptunia mk 2 and rebirth 2
Reprised in Sisters vs Sisters as the Worst possible timeline
Also involves a special Sword
4:10 I'm doing this with dragon quest 11. The way you praised it in that video made me go buy and play it myself before watching the video
This game is seriously such a hidden gem. Back when it came out, me and my brother both got it and had a contest to see who could get the 100 endings first! :)
You should be doing a lot of long creepy bad ending since give ours more detail about ending
Man I knew when it was coming and it still got me.
After a few se onds of thinking, I realized what ending #96 was supposed to mean
...goddammit
Fuuhh, an one-hour long episode from git but from MY BELOVED CBE SERIES???
*grabs popcorn and soda*
It's gonna be a good time tonight
Jump Scares are the fart joke of videogame tropes
Pretty sure someone said this already. Bus and hot air balloon is a battle royale reference. Specifically, Fortnite.
There is no escape.
climbing a mountain for a strawberry? sounds *celestial* to me
It's a really interesting game. I should probably try it out !
I recommend it,it’s good fun trying to get all of the endings, and it’s available for cheap on phones, and could go on sale on consoles and steam.
I tried it out, just finished it today, its really fun!
While trying to get as many endings as possible on your own is the most fun part, don't shy away from searching on the internet if youre too confused about how to get an ending.
Also, about the free mobile version, while its free to play, once you spent your lives, if you wanna refill em, you can-
1) Wait about 2hrs to get 1
2) Watch a short ad to get 1, there is no limit to how many ads you can watch tho.
3) Pay with IRL money to get infinite lives.
I played the mobile version, so I had to watch A LOT of ads. Still, while I think the experience is worth it, I thought you should know in case you wanna play it for free.
55:17 Damnit she was ALSO a mimic. Well not technically, but kind of lol.
So, It is really good to do the beanstalk ending, that bomb ending, and the normal one
ok
Ending 24 is a Celeste reference, as in that game you climb a mountain while collecting strawberries.
hell yeah i now know how to spend todays evening
Whoisthisgit needs to play the SUIKODEN saga if he really wants to suffer just to get BAD endings.
59:48 insert TF2 Spy backstab here
It's funny, how in Reventure, it's actually hard to DIE die. Like most of the time, even surely lethal stuff and words like "body" pop up and you're still absolutely fine, just uh... with a new look depicting your supposed highly exaggerated death.
Only shit like ending 4 actually kills your hero.
1:06:38 It’s the battle bus from Fortnite. You jump out of it at the beginning of a match.
34:55 ending reference to Issac who dies suffocating in chest?
Yep, right down to the name also being one of the achievements for beating Mom's Heart.
I got giddy when I saw that.
35:40 Love that not-so-subtle jab at some veteran FE fans.
Bro, you should have saved this for your 100 episode special
Let's all agree to not tell Whoisthisgit what reference ending 77 is from
Ending 96 is great enough, but even more ironic and funny if you actually pirated the game
Nice to see a new one finally, been a grip!
I got jumpscared TWICE because of those fucking mimics.
If I didn’t hate them before, I sure do now
