I absolutely loved this sequel. Bono and Scarlett absolutely killed it! Halsey did amazing! Johhny's cover of Coldplay was mind blowing!
Also I was pleasantly surprised when they played BTS's "Not today" during the piglet scene.

I just now noticed the ending of this movie, and the beginning of the first movie is the exact same
It did hurt a little the not recognizing a Prince song but everyone gets to experience him for a first time so...
Hurt me more when he didn't recognise the U2 dong, to be honest.
Yayyy!! this sequel is one of those sequels that's as great as the first one! this one was just a lot of fun honestly to watch for sure 💓
The big reason I like the 2nd over the first movie is because in the 1st movie, a lot of characters have no consequences for poor behavior. Everything works out no lesson learned. The like-ability of the characters carry it. The second one's story is much more fleshed out

i love johnny he’s my favorite and the song he did always gives me goosebumps. the part where all her kids attack the hotel lobby that song is from the group BTS called not today. btw calloway the voice is by the actual guy who sings that song in the end. also porsha is halsey.

I believe the current estimated date for sing 3 was March of 2027. Don't know if that was official or if it could change, but that's what it said last time I Googled Sing three release date.

This movie and the 1st one are both so good.
I do really like both films, even though 2 is a remix of the plot from movie 1, I kinda like the second one a little better.
As for the lion, no, but I have had the opportunity to hold a baby tiger though! It was super cute and the fur was more coarse than I expected it to be!
I used to be a zookeeper, and I have had a chance to pet lions a time of two

A favorite movie of mine! First song was Prince - if you get the chance Purple Rain would be a great movie to react to. 😊
This movie destroys me on such a deep, emotional level. Yeah, the first movie did a great job of giving the characters meaningful arcs, but this one... when you can take someone who is successful in their own field, and still give them a journey to take, you're doing something right. It's like they're all "Yeah, I'm doing alright in the small pond, but now I've got to deal with the big leagues." Johnny standing up to Klaus, who is lording it over him with "the only way to succeed is my way," Portia having to break free from her dad's shadow, and Mina having to bust out of an entirely different set of anxieties? Oh yeah. And, yeah. I do feel bad for Portia. Even at the end of the scene where she first appears, she's calling out to her dad, saying that she loves him, and he just doesn't register it. She's a brat because nothing she says or does really gets a positive response from her psychopath of a dad. She's never had to push herself, but when she's given the chance, she really shows her stuff. I feel like Ash has... the least of a direct arc to take, but she gets to help Calloway through his arc, which chokes me up every time. The moment his wife appears in the tunnel the way she does... breaks my heart. Oh, and I love Norm's arc between the first at the second. After the first one, he woke up, and he has a new life being part of his family again, rather than just slogging away at the office just to make ends meet.
Calloway is crazy, though, and I love that as the movie goes on, you see just how deadly his madness is. I'm... pretty sure that Moon isn't the first person he's thrown off of his roof, and his security is just too good at covering it up. Also, I really love that there is no mention or even background hint of Mike. No one dwells on him, and there are no articles in the background about him... he was a miserable mouse to work with, and everyone has just _completely_ moved on from him.
As for not knowing the music... honestly, both of these movies have introduced me to several songs that I didn't know before watching them. There's no way to be encyclopedically knowledgeable about all of pop culture! So, you're good, man. Oh, and Calloway is played by Bono, and all of the songs attributed to him are songs from Bono's career. I love that touch to his character.
Also, French toast all the way. I'll do it sweet, and I'll even do it savory. Get some nice, crusty, rustic bread and put some spices in the eggs and milk... heck, you can even sprinkle cheese on it after you've flipped it, and finish it by flipping it again to get a nice sear on the cheese? Mmm, perfection. Though, when it comes to pancakes, I've been really into the traditional Japanese Okonomiyaki pancakes lately...

That ending scene where Moon looks just like he did at the beginning of the first movie as a kid when he was first inspired in the theatre with his dad makes me tear up in happiness so much.
I love that Bono played Calloway and that, because of that we got to hear awesome U2 songs
That last scene gave me the feeling of being in a U2 concert, with Bono singing his own song for the movie

Poppycock is a word used in America however it's a very old word that isn't used as much today. It was more commonly used in the 1800's and early 1900's. Since Nana is old I'm assuming they made her say that to help show how much older she is as she would probably still use words that were more common during her time as a young adult.
About the second movie being better or not: After watching the second movie I felt like the first one has better single moments, like the "I'm Still Standing" number is probably my favorite scene from a musical ever! However, the second movie has a more theater musical feel to it. It felt like watching a Broadway show instead of a number of really awesome musical videos.
