Ah, youth! I remember these days back in my 20s. Having cookouts with friends and arguing with girls about each other's idealistic and borderline selfish perspectives on life and relationships until 2 - 3am 😅... I didn't wake up to reality until my late-20s because I eventually realized TWO things:
1. After the millions & billions of years of human existence, *'tradition'* is still relevant to this day because it ACTUALLY WORKS. Human progression, especially in couples & families, can only happen with certain core values still in place.
2. Nothing of value is achievable without sacrifice or difficulty. Question is: have you logically evaluated the valuable things in life?
This is a prime example as to why relationships in this generation never last, everyone has literally thrown away the real importance of a relationship and what is required to make it all work, and the comment about leaving your husband if he was sick and couldn't provide is really something else, too many small minded people on this cast being horrible role models to the younger generation who may be watching this, thinking materialistic things is what makes a relationship mtchewwwwww.

This is very true. For a long time my dad didn’t even have a job due to certain reasons and my mum was the mum making money. My dad would stay at home with us doing all these ‘bitch’ jobs but I can honestly tell you my parents were happier and stronger as a couple then than they are now with both of them working. Even now my mum still earns more but that’s never been a problem in my house 🤷🏾♀️
