At this point you are an A7x fan whether you know/like it. You're doing their best songs and you're actually crushing it. You have analyzed Evil Fence's guitar scale choices. You've invested a "fan" amount of time into the group.

This is a pretty fun song to play and fun fact the outro solo is actually Synyster Gates Dad, Papa Gates. And he also does the Outro solo of Angels(which is my favorite off The Stage)
The solo on Angels is just amazing

Hail to the king got a lot of shit when it came out, and still gets alot of shit today, but I loved it when it came out and I still love it today.
This is probably the best song on the album and one of their best overall.

Say what you like about Hail To The King, this is one of the best tracks on that album.

Best track on Hail to the King by far for me.
It's a shame that the album is mediocre (I know some people like it but the concensus is that it's meh). Cause it has M. Shadows' best vocal performance.
The Stage is a much better album overall but his voice sounds tired and strained throughout unfortunately.
Also Chainbrain definitely hated this song, definitely.
The album is an amazing tribute to early '90s and late '80s metal. I didn't realize it at the time and was initially not a fan of the simple riffs and drumming. One day it clicked and now I love it.
@@dasenase I don't hate it really but it's a big disappointment still. I like the title track and Requiem quite a bit also. This Means War is fun too but it's such a Metallica rip-off that I can't shake it off haha.
I know some people like it but it just doesn't feel like an Avenged Sevenfold record really. And even outside of that based on its own terms I feel it's decent at best overall.

The thing with the album art. the artwork used on Rocksmith is what was supposed to be used on the HTTK album but something happened so A7x couldn’t use it so they just ended up using half a death bat
When interviewer asked Booby Blitz about A7X "stealing" their logo, he answered: "That's obviously a form of flattery, to some degree. And the fact that those guys sell a lot of records, the fact that we've been mentioned in the same sentence many times now for over a decade, it gives us, let's say a light that we wouldn't normally get, gives us the attention we wouldn't normally have. So I really don't have any problems with any of that stuff".
I was gonna ask on your last A7X playthrough if you’re starting to come around to them at all, and it looks like I got my answer. I understand not liking his nasally voice. I remember listening to CoE and not likening his voice at all, but once you spend enough time listening, you don’t even notice it that much and you can appreciate the band as a whole. I think you would really like Scream by them. Super groovy riff

It's fine to admit you like this, this album overall is lot closer to classic metal and doesn't have that much signature A7x sound, so you're not losing any of your dignity by bopping

@@Chainbrain I have some Sony wireless headhones, but can't use w/ bluetooth on Rocksmith because of the latency difference, won't let it work. Do those have something special where it allows you to use them wirelessly?
I'm guessing it has an adapter that you plug to the PC?

Can I just say that intro tone is kinda horrible sounding. Almost sounds like a bass tone.
Man the hate this album gets is really unfair. All because it 'ripped off' a bunch of other bands. People seemed to forget bands have been doing that forever but eh whatever people suck
people also seem to forget that HttK is a tribute album to those metal bands. It's literally in the name, "Hail to the King"
