@@kenpope5701 i kind of expect some bad decisions from a rookie QB. Who knows if he’s going to work out or not but he seems calm in the pocket, which I think should help.

Definitely early. I think as the rookie and some of the other younger receivers improve throughout the year the offense is gonna be more spread out just based off how Bryce played in Bama
Probably worth going for in the sleepers. He's panning out to be Bryce's key option for crucial situations and redzone.

He looks the most relaxed out of all the rookie qb’s and isn’t looking to run. Those checkdowns in the flat are key to building confidence for young qb’s.
Especially for a rookie QB. Not every play should be a check down, but having some early in the game can really help Bryce Young. He will be Carolinas QB for the next decade, and I believe he's going to do good things. Good luck Carolina fans.

Unreal how many passes he threw and the receivers just watched it with about as minimal effort to get it as possible. Dude's in for a ROUGH season with those guys.
It's the preseason though so we will see. I think it's different when it matters
a) timing improves with reps b) the playbook is heavily limited in preseason and none of the starters are really giving full effort c) 2-3 of the starting WRs sat in the last 2 games.
Are u talking about the 7 or 8 throws that were way outta reach or just that one catchable throw Mingo didn't make a play on? I'm rooting for bryce tho

@@jaywp2343Even before he throws it, you see guys running drag routes half open then slowing down to jog while Bryce still has the ball. You also see guys on several occasions running option routes directly into the coverage instead of away coverage. Also no one works their way back to Bryce after the play breaks down. Only 2 players I saw give max effort every play was Thielen and Mingo (and Im calling that based on the routes that dont end in receptions, not just the ones they get the ball)
This is usually a coaching thing, but its still preseason so we'll see how it is week 1

Like been saying, Bryce young will be the best of this rookie class. So calm, throws the ball away if nothings there, doesn’t make stupid mistakes, cerebral guy, and is nifty in the pocket.

Both quarterbacks will be learning to play in the NFL they will be fine don't expect them to be in the playoffs this year but in the future 👍.
@Ahmed-uu9ro Stroud had one rough game, and that was with his whole starting O-line out. The last 2 games Stroud showed much better accuracy from the pocket and on the move than Bryce. Stroud moved the ball down the field easily the last 2 games.

He didnt look all that good in the first game shown but looked much better against Lions.

Bryce is by far the most skilled QB out of the draft. His pocket presence was like a veteran. Impressed with how comfortable he was. Rare for someone with that much inexperience. He’s going to be amazing. Can’t wait to watch him play

This will be a playoff team. And then it's anybody's NFC championship from there. Look out for the Panthers... Been a Panthers fan for a little over a decade and lemme tell you this is the most unpredictable and wildest team ever. Shocking the world and out of nowhere going to the NFC championship wouldn't surprise me one bit, but neither would going 7-10 and missing the playoffs entirely.

The line is pretty good. They’ve invested and built it well. Improvements are always welcomed tho lol
I agree the O Line play needs to be good. But he has a quick release. I think the bigger issue is will receivers get that separation especially off the line for quick catches and with that receiving room I’m not sure they can consistently at least not early in the year. Maybe Mingo can really develop fast though.

Too stiff in the pocket , against starters they will pick him off a lot.
Short -> Blocked vision -> Limited options in the pocket -> Sacked or fumbled

How is everyone saying he’s good?? HOW? The ball is CLEARLY too big for his hands, his passes float for way too long/in the dirt or into the bench, he’s MUCH slower than I thought he’d be etc etc. He won’t pan out. I guarantee it.
