His head coach was phillys OC . I like the RPO with this QB . If short passing accuracy is there. He throws darts. He struggles with the middle and deep ball like most young guys do. @High5748 crazy thing is Richardson played 1 full season in his college career. He hasn't got the experience fully yet in my opinion but definitely has all the tangible to become great QB 👍
I think he looks a lot better out there than Bryce Young, he also needs time to develop his skills in the NFL, but he will go far as long as he stays healthy.
His ceiling is higher because of his running ability, but he doesn’t look better than Young. There’s was like 6 inaccurate passes to open receivers. Dude got a better Oline and only face 16% pressure, while Young is around 46% pressure. AR threw that pick when he got pressure in his face. So having an Oline matters. I might be biased, but Young look poise and calm in the pocket. More accurate passer. Make smarter decisions. Two different qbs though. AR is RPO qb like Cam and Jalen hurst, while Young is a pocket passer like Drew Brees and prime Russell Wilson who can scramble and get away in the pocket.

That is because broken plays are hard to defend. You can have the perfect defense and a mobile qb can break a would be sack use their legs to run for a first down or by more time for their wrs to get open. We see it time and time again with mahomes,Allen, rodgers. Dual threat is hard to defend.
He's so quick I forget how big he is. The ball also jumps out of his hand like few people I've ever seen.
Bro has a nice quick delivery
These WRs just dropping so much.
NFL on top!
Rookie qb need to sit the first year! Will Levi will be best qb from this draft, because he's gonna sit a full year and learn the play book and pro defenses!
his ball release is crazy fast. All he needs to development and he'll be elite. Mahomes type
His receivers weren’t doing him any favors but AR was throwing the ball too high on a lot of those throws leaving his receivers open to getting clobbered
Yeah he's gotta learn not to lead them into a bad situation but he has a quick release and some of them balls should have been caught.
Hope he won't be a bust. Dude has alot of talent. I believe in him
He'll be a WR by his 3rd year, he can't last competing for a QB position with his decision making and IQ
I wish the guy like but I’m a lsu fan and loved playing against him, hopefully for colts fans sake he’s a better pro player 🤷🏽♂️
I have a feeling AR is going to lead all QBs in tackles this year
i could see this guy on the madden cover if he never stops grinding
Get this man a better offensive line and some solid wide receivers and he should be great
His head coach was phillys OC . I like the RPO with this QB . If short passing accuracy is there. He throws darts. He struggles with the middle and deep ball like most young guys do. He’s mobile and he’s bigger than anyone past the line of scrimmage so he won’t go down easy if a play breaks down he can go get you 15 with his legs. He definitely needs more weapons than just Pittman lol. If they give me a legit number one and a nice guy in the slot with some good hands you could be back on top in Indy.
He's good at making plays with his legs but he needs to work on accuracy forsure
He need to corral that arm there’s so much power that he needs to learn he can’t make the same mistakes he did in college, but I think he can do that and when he does, he could easily be a top five quarterback. reminds me a lot of young Lamar, Jackson, and Randall Cunningham
He's going to be the truth in two years
I think the truth will be that in 2 years, he'll be somebody's back up.
By year three he will be a boss
he da truth rn dees are just preseason games they dont count. watch what he do when pressure on da line he gon ball out hes goin to da playoffs fs this year mark my words
@@PressureP777 🤣 It's even worse that these are preseason games and he's playing like that! In all seriousness though, I do hope he gets it together.
Kid will be a stud.
Colt nation stand up!
He’s playing against top defenses with their starters in the game. Very impressive. But needs to work on accuracy has a huge upside.
feels like this is a highlight for #56
I'm life time gator fan with that being said he has all the potential size abilities to become elite QB needs work on foot work 3 step drop not 5 and 6 definitely needs read defensive plays better and accuracy throwing the ball I think if given the time and have patience 2-3 years he will be top nfl QB
As a life long Colts fan but also a realistic one. I think my Colts will end up picking the in the top 5 next year draft. Richardson should make the Colts fun to watch though it's just I don't believe in our weapons we have on offense and CB. If Taylor moves on I think it'll be a blessing in disguise then we can finally get a legit WR for Richardson.
You crazy. He didn't look better than young
@@EmillioBurrell nope
@@Jumpman-kb2py ceiling isn't only defined by athleticism, though. Common mistake a lot of analysts make. Cam was just a unicorn coming out of college (I say that because Josh Allen plays exactly like Cam now, but looked like a bust for his early years)
what did richardson do better than bryce? do you have any legitimate points or are you just closing your eyes and saying things?
W
Still don’t understand why the Colts are starting him off the bat. There’s nothing wrong with him sitting behind Minshew for a few games or a season. I know people will point to Trey Lance but I honestly think unlucky injuries and poor off-season training on his part cost him that opportunity. Incredibly raw and you drafted him really high in the draft so like it or not the expectations is that he is transcendent, not just good. I would’ve went the Patrick Mahomes route but we’ll see how this goes.
To make matters worse you don’t want to pay JT so he’ll be out there with Michael Pittman and everybody else.
Rookie of the year
Every year the media claims to have discovered the next Lamar jackson, it becomes more clear that Lamar is one of one.
No one is as overrated as Lamar Fr 💯
@@KornKobbyou sound crazy 😂
the amount of the media and fans overrate QBs over the last 5 years or so is beyond crazy. Never has the quality been so bad, but they try so hard to dismiss the lack of quality play.
@@hybrid8557 he’s never thrown for more the 3.2k yards in a season, his style makes him injury prone. He’s not a great passer and he’s heavily overrated. People act like he’s on par with Patrick Mahomes when he’s barely if at all in the top ten.
Lamar, Hurts, and Kyler the only running QBs worth the hype. The rest are bums
This is the best Fullback I've ever seen play Quarterback
Always exciting to see new faces in the NFL.
5:52 Evan Hull with that phenomenal blitz pickup
I see potential
Eagles bringing a ton of heat for a preseason game
Like watching his games at Florida. This is the NFL....you don't get time to improve as much he needs to. Enjoy the madness Colts fans.
Or maybe florida just sucks. We will see soon enough i guess
physically the guy is nuts but its going to be a long season for that young man, many int will be thorwn
This guy looks too good already. Arm of Luck with a much faster delivery, wit of Lamar coupled with his short stride, and top tier athletic agility ability. He surprises us this year making Fields hype look silly.
Terrible take
Richardson continues to develop like he has Colts will be a top 10 team and have a chance to win a championship in 2 years...
Colts please start this guy week 1. Need that easy win.
All imma say is AR will make huge plays in the redzone.
LETS GO INDIANAPOLIS
every single check down throw to the rb was high
NFL coming in clutch here!!!!!
You can see he has the talent, but this man is about to throw enough interceptions to make jameis blush
70% of the time throws ball over his receivers' heads. 25% of the time throws balls at the feet of his receivers. 5% of the time, gets it to receiver perfectly. This guy is a turn over machine with his throwing mechanic... Side arming with a flat-trajectory. Also leaving that arm out for good defensive-ends to swat for fumbles.
Free agent on Fantasy Football, don't think the running upside outweighs these flaws.
As an Eagles fan, I like him. Distribute fast and get the ball out. Stop seeking contact cuz you're big.😊
I'm so happy if has one qb who doesnt suck in the NFL. I guess Rex Grossman wasn't bad but....
🐐
