I think these two are the perfect making of a future generation of actors. I love how foreign she is!! Its so beautiful, their companionship.

@Erikakicute Well, here is answer to your question, they were truly in love, and she would not kill him, and maybe you have heard, ar maybe not, but if mermaid kisses you, you cannot drown, so, she kissed him, and, there they go.

Sam Claflin plays a missionary (Philip) and Astrid Berges-Frisbey plays a mermaid (Syrena).. I loved the movie, its a must watch! I was really enchanted by the nature of their love..

@Erikakicute No. If you remember in the scene where they're out on the water being used as mermaid bait, one of the pirates says that a mermaid's kiss prevents a man from drowning. So no. She didn't kill him.

@Erikakicute I don't think so. In the movie, they said that a mermaid's kiss could heal and keep a man breathing underwater, so his wounds would have been healed and he would have gained gills or something.

@Erikakicute i think he lived underwater, at some point a pirate said, if a mermaid kissed you, you'd be able to breathe underwater. didn't they get kissed there?
@Erikakicute Nop, a mermaid kiss will prevent him from drowning. they were talking about that when all the pirates were sitting in the boat as mermad bait :) so she probly took him down, healed hes wound and they lived happely ever after :P but i rly hope they will appear in the next movie
