D&G Pour Homme is my favorite fragrance of all time… then I tried Intenso. On my skin, with my nose, I think Intenso is AMAZING! I get a sweet/vanilla tobacco with aromatic/sage sent. Smells incredible! Intenso layers well with the France version of Pour Homme. Those two together really reminds me of ‘94 Pour Homme.

Apparently the newest version (2023) is italian again, but has lost the tabaco and suffers from poor longevity. I myself have an english version from 2016 which i love a lot. I don´t understand all the hate it gets, for me it´s wonderful. I´ve just ordered a french version which came out after the english, but i have to test it yet. People on the net say, the french version is better than the english. The newest italian 2023 doesn´t get much love. I had an original in the 90s, which was really great, but for me the english is a great alternative as well.

CC33777 the Intenso has a nice tobacco note but it is not the same although other reviewers have said so. The Intenso tobacco note is reminiscent of the how the note could be in the new formulations.
I know this is an old post but I just got the second bottle of the pour homme and neither smell right, haven't had the fragrance in a long time but it was an absolute banger when I had it before, I have the German one and the UK one that I just got today, pissed off to say the least, both sellers didn't have the release years and now I have 250ml of some crap I don't want to wear, funny you said the UK version smelled like a baby's butt, when I first smelled it I thought of that magic bubbles stuff I played with when I was little, I seriously can't believe this, but I learned something from you today so that's a plus, downside is I'll have to fork over a grip to get what I'm actually after, this was one of the best in it's time, now I'm going to smell like a babies a** ☹️

Interesting I have a Germany six digit- 904101 must be from 2009. I was supposed to get the sticker version but she mailed me the non sticker Germany, i'm not as pissed as I thought. Germany isn't so bad; it's a brighter summery version with lasting power. Either that or since its a 2009 6 digit maybe its the sticker version in a non sticker bottle? Who knows. Fascinating the history of this scent how they passed it around all of Europe lol. I need to try a 5 digit 94-99 now! Hands down the best D&G Pour homme video on youtube- did you manage to get the 1st form? I only want to hear the review from you.

I managed to snag the original on eBay and your right the top notes are slightly off but after that it’s incredible, I like the UK version even though it doesn’t last, the German is too harsh on the top notes and the France is similar to the U.K. Intenso I never tried but I smelled it at Sephora. The original is a masterpiece and fetches big money on eBay.

The scent was Amazing when it first came out but its not the same anymore it weak and dose not last on the skin. lidl dark blue smells like the new formulation and cheap to buy.

It does when you first spray it on paper. On skin it’s completely different. I almost threw it away when I bought it from Marshalls and smelled it on paper but when I wore it omg. It is by far my favorite for everyday wear

michael beattie the UK one has a nice orange 🍊 note that layers on top of Versace the Dreamer really well. It’s not the same but works. I agree the OG is great and the last two versions are disappointing in comparison. Intenso unfortunately is a subtle scent that hides close to the skin.

I went to Macy's I sprayed this fragrance and it smell like citrus and baby powder.

I don’t have the notes I made for this for easy reference but if I recall it was changed in 2017 to the made in France version.

Original was a pure masterpiece. U.K & France was garbage didn't last. Intenso was horrible because it was like water lasted 3 seconds.
