Hey Brent, your D90 goes from strength to strength! Cool mods, the accessories look excellent. So much smoother on the run this time, you can really see the difference! Great work my friend! : )
the cheepo "20A" brushed ESC is plenty, but kinda "fun" making sure forward is forward, reverse is reverse. if having to double tag throttle to go forward sometimes, polarity is backwards (and only half power). micro switch for automatic motor braking, it works, but kinda wimpy (oh well). hard to tell if braking is on or off, needs to be re-powered to check too. trimming away the rear of the servo mount plate, there's just *barely* room to fit receiver upside down and ESC in front.
Adventure Time RC ☝️are you Using capacitors on your motor? that might help at smoothing out a bit. I know some people haven’t been using them. I just noticed when I tested it without them the truck couldn’t run very smooth.
Adventure Time RC I would use 104 capacitor and it depends on the size the motor if you’re running a 130-180 one capacitor will work Great and if you are using a 370 motor I would rig three capacitors up if you want I have a video that talks about the importance of capacitors and how I set them up! Those 104 Capacitors will make a world of difference on your crawling speed! And they also increase the life of your motor.
Hey Brent , working on assembling this and was wondering what size/type of lipo battery you used. I.E. what voltage and milli-amps and what brand you recommend. Let me know so I can order it up on ebay. Thanx!
That thing is so cool with the stickers! That truck did a really good job in the snow and on the rocks! Really cool place to crawl! Love the video like always!
