Thanks a lot for this video, my two daughters use glasses and they keep breaking their frame and each time would have to pay so much to get them a new pair. But with your video am sure I will be able to buy a similar frame and switch the lenses. Hoping to be with them in about a week. Thank you so much for this video! My new frames were super tight and the eye glasses worker said the frame couldn’t be adjusted any further. So I used this video to take out my new lenses and put them in my old frames!

Thx for this I had to clean inside of the lenses they were all gross.. I thought I was gonna break them but the technique worked.. saved me time and money

Thanks, really helped me a lot. My glasses is blue fade and almost transparent at the bottom part of the rim, so the dirt is noticeable and I can't clean it, thanks to this video I was now able to clean the rim of my glasses.

My reading glasses and glasses for distance have the same frame. I broke my every day glasses, then switched the lenses easily.

Idk why people are saying this was easy. This ain't easy. I legit am spending all my thumb strength to Poppin these suckers out and the right lenses won't even budge. Got my left out though!
Edit: two hours later, and i still cannot get the right out.
If its off brand, theres a big possibility that the lenses are made out of plastic, in that case just break the lenses with something sharp.
Yes you are right that is CR-39 material = plastic. And the method are propose to retrieve the lens and save $

I wanted to exchange lenses between two identical but different color frames. I managed to pop the lenses but it was not totally effortless. One of the frames chipped a tiny bit (bad quality plastic probably). Fortunately it was the one I didn’t like. Next I’ll try to spray paint that ugly frame in a flattering color. It helps to remove the lenses beforehand.

Thank you, it worked eventually. I practiced on a older frame I have that is no longer in use and then used this on my larger frame which did eventually work.
I got a question: if you hold it correctly as you do in the video, are you able to push as hard as possible without the lens breaking? Because I think I was afraid of breaking them so I didn't apply enough power. I can't imagine the lenses breaking if you were to hold the frame correctly.

Regarding on your question un can Apply little bit force but to push at the side of the lens not on center it might break. Try to use the table as your tool pop out the lens as per the video.
