I've noticed there's an opacity issue, changing the opacity of the group affects all elements inside it but setting the opacity of the color of the group does not...
The Group Child 1 seems to be inheriting the opacity from the Parent Group. The parent group is blue with 10% opacity. But when I select the Flat color for the Child Group 1, using the same color with 100% opacity, I get the same 10% blue color as the parent. I already checked the index page properties, they're at 100% opacity.
guys, I think I found the solution. Edit the opacity in the color plate, not in the property, this will keep the parent group's opacity=10% and won't affect the child group.
For some reasons the width is not changing. All the index, parent and child container still having 1400 px even when I modify it to fit what was asked. Any thought?
I'm unable to change the opacity % for the background color at 3:25 in the video. If I change the value of the color, it's editable, but if I use the value indicated in the Style Value, the % is fixed at 100. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this?
Amazing!!! Exactly what I was looking for, you saved my life :) Thank you for this wonderful course!
After following along step by step I am having with the Parent and Child 1, I am not getting what you have, why is that (was there an up grade?)

Thank you
I found a solution - "View" menu (top right menu bar) > "X-ray mode" was enabled by default. Turn it OFF.
@@Samurai.Shortcut great!
@@Samurai.Shortcut doesn’t work with me
Plus I can’t draw the group
It just paste by 40 by 40 group
I don't have the labels showing like he does for the elements on the design page, is this a browser thing or a setting?

Hi ricardo did you find a solution for this?
@@bleepbloopblahpful I’m not sure I did. I might have just decided not to use a parent opacity, instead just a lighter tone at 100%.

make sure you choose correct window with "withd max" instead "withd min". There is another template now than on this video and it can be confusing.

Got it. The value is not "selectable," just need to type in "10"
